After that, he found a channeled book, started doing meditations and energy work, and later had a kundalini experience that left him feeling united with all life. We talked about Reiki, remote healing, mantras, sleep, subconscious programming, and how he thinks spiritual practice can be used in everyday life.Socials for Jonas Kristensen:YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@reikimasterjonasMentioned in this episode:- Master Chor Kok Sui - Created the Twin Hearts Meditation- Mikau Usui - Founder of Reiki- Stephen Greer - Referenced on ETs and higher-dimensional beings- Tina Louise Spalding - Mentioned for controversial channeled books- Melchizedek - Entity Jonas said was channeled in a book- Alice Bailey - Referenced for seven initiations framework- Joshua David Stone - Recommended as an ascension author- I Am the Word (Paul Selig): https://amzn.to/49mdVdk- Conversations with God (Neale Donald Walsch): https://amzn.to/4nSXHP2- The Law of One: https://amzn.to/4tXlcI6Books you might like to read:- Autobiography of a Yogi (Paramahansa Yogananda): https://amzn.to/40mvHrA- Be Here Now (Ram Dass): https://amzn.to/3E0cpkp- The Power of Now (Eckhart Tolle): https://amzn.to/40r5bNE- Living in a Mindful Universe (Eben Alexander & Karen Newell): https://amzn.to/48CH5TlWays to Support the ChannelBecome a member: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwiFECZktd2AQ_uTX_IpaPA/joinDonate crypto:Bitcoin: bc1qgjrdlsrw7wrue6p30y4m7rnydzrd0m527z2lgdEthereum: 0x8Ee31E25EB30617f0096f15dFf21cb50F4f1F445Doge: DC948baGHTRgnyzxYjpgvSdZAyNuLkyqKfSign up for new episodes and special event notifications: https://bit.ly/uc-emailsCheck Out Our Podcast:Apple: https://apple.co/40KHfE2Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3LbBnPcWant to be interviewed?

Takk&lov! Techno doesn't need more rules, it needs more nerve. On Lost and Sound, I'm joined by Copenhagen-based DJ and producer Anastasia Kristensen, an artist whose work sits right on the edge between club functionality and something far more exploratory. After approaching a decade in the spotlight, her debut album Bestiarium Sombre (out 8 May on Intercept Records) is the perfect entry point into that mindset. Every track is tied to an animal, some real and some imagined. Anastasia uses this as a tool for storytelling, sound design, and rhythm choices that feel tactile, dark, and playful. Anastasia breaks down how field recordings and found sounds become musical material, how a hydraulic mechanism can turn into a “whale”, and why not overthinking is sometimes the most disciplined creative choice. We also get into the lived reality around the work: touring and crowd connection, how she prepares music without over-preparing a set, why atmosphere and darkness change what people hear, and what it meant to clarify her Ukrainian background after 2022 while staying focused on meaningful local action. We finish with thoughts on AI in music, not as an artistic replacement but as a wider economic and climate question, plus where she wants to take her sound next.If you enjoy Lost and Sound and want to help keep it thriving, the best way to support is simple: subscribe, leave a rating, and write a quick review on your favourite podcast platform. In this episode of Spirit Box, I'm joined by Jonas Kristensen, a Reiki master from Denmark whose journey into energy healing and spiritual practice began with a profound awakening in his early twenties. Jonas comes from a background in podcasting and video creation, and now runs popular YouTube channels dedicated to Reiki healing, hypnosis, and mantra work.We talk about the books, experiences, and inner shifts that first opened him to expanded states of consciousness — from reading I Am the Word to experiencing powerful energy activations that changed the course of his life. Jonas shares how he focused on service to humanity, and how this led him to explore pranic healing and the transformative Twin Hearts Meditation.Jonas also opens up about his kundalini awakening and how it propelled him toward becoming a Reiki master. He explains Reiki as a universal life force that supports not only physical healing, but spiritual development, manifestation, and personal evolution. We explore what it really takes to walk this path — the lifestyle changes, character refinement, and heightened awareness that come with long-term energy work.We discuss the Twin Hearts Meditation in depth, its emphasis on selflessness and planetary healing, and why Jonas continues to recommend it even as his own practice evolves. He shares how he creates accessible Reiki sessions online, and why he encourages people to commit to at least 30 days of practice to develop genuine sensitivity and trust in the process. Our conversation also covers Reiki as a tool for manifestation, the balance between serving others and pursuing personal goals, and the idea of working in alignment with one's highest good — even when that involves difficult lessons. Jonas reflects on how, over years of practice, his energy system has transformed, shifting from localised sensations to a full-body channel for healing and awareness. In the Plus Show, we explore themes of ascension, soul purpose, and spiritual discipline in modern life. Jonas offers practical advice for overcoming blockages and procrastination, speaks about protection through higher vibration, and touches on angelic realms, subtle entities, and the importance of embodied practice over abstract theory.Show notes:Reiki Master - Jonas Kristensen: Focused on Reiki energy healing sessions and spiritual guidance. www.youtube.com/@ReikiMasterJonasDivine Manifestor - Mantra Music and Reiki Healing: Offering mantra music combined with Reiki healing to facilitate meditation and manifestation practices. hwww.youtube.com/@divinemanifestorHypno Guru - Subliminal, Reiki, and Hypnosis: Focused on a combination of subliminals messages, reiki and hypnosis techniques for personal development. www.youtube.com/@HypnoGuru1111Maestro De Reiki - Jonas Kristensen: Free Reiki healing and empowerment aimed at helping the spanish speaking population. www.youtube.com/@ReikiMasterJonasSpanishKeep in touch?https://linktr.ee/darraghmason
We're joined by Ole Kristensen, affectionately known by many as the “evil professor” of Bike Trials. Not because he's actually evil - quite the opposite - but because he's always thinking ahead, solving problems, and quietly working behind the scenes to move the sport forward.Ole is a true pillar of the Trials community. From shaping competitions and supporting riders to creating the gold standard for checkpoint and gate markers still used in events today, his influence on Bike Trials runs deeper than most people realise. In this episode, we talk about how decisions are really made, the unseen work that keeps the sport running, and the responsibility that comes with caring deeply about a small but passionate scene. It's an honest, thoughtful conversation with someone who sees the bigger picture - and genuinely wants the best for Trials.

In part two of his conversation with Barry Stevens, nuclear weapons expert Hans Kristensen warns of mounting tensions with China, driven by exaggerated fears of its nuclear buildup and the growing risk of a Taiwan conflict. The U.S. response — including Trump's push to resume nuclear testing — is dangerously accelerating the arms race. A critical failure, Kristensen says, is the near-total lack of Congressional oversight, with defense policy shaped by the entrenched power of the military-industrial complex. In this climate of collapsing arms control, he makes a powerful case for renewed public pressure to help prevent catastrophe.
As Trump vows to resume nuclear explosive testing, Hans Kristensen — Director of the Nuclear Information Project at FAS, the world's most authoritative source on global nuclear arsenals — joins host Barry Stevens for an urgent conversation. Kristensen calls the move “chest-thumping,” with no strategic justification, warning it would likely trigger a disastrous chain reaction of testing by China and others.

At EUVC Summit 2025, few sessions packed as much history, humility, and hard-earned wisdom as the conversation with Bernard Dallé and Thomas Kristensen. What began as a one-man show in the early '90s—when venture in Europe was barely a concept—has become one of the most respected platforms in the global industry.“I joined Index before it even existed as a venture firm. It was still Index Securities.”This was more than a talk. It was a journey through time, with insights for every fund manager—new or seasoned—building for the long haul. Before Skype, before unicorns, before European VC had a flag to wave, it was about scraping together conviction and capital.Index Fund I: $17 millionRaised in 1999, following years of groundwork and trialNo real ecosystem, no pattern recognition, and no “easy” capital“You can't raise without a track record. So we used Fund I to create it.”And then came the landmark deal: Skype's acquisition by eBay for $3–4 billion. That one outcome shifted the trajectory of Index—and of European venture as a whole.“After Skype, we could raise with more ease. It gave us credibility.”One of the standout themes was Index's philosophy around team building:“The hires that worked? People we knew—or people who joined slightly below partner level and grew into the role.”In contrast, hiring senior talent cold—especially across geographies—proved far harder. Culture cohesion was key, and misalignment at the top often broke the system. The advice was clear:Grow talent internally when you canOnly bring in outsiders when they're “known entities”Avoid parachuting in partners who haven't lived the firm's values“At some point, having someone senior focused purely on operations becomes essential.”This wasn't about back office—it was about survival.Today's LP demands include:ESG complianceFund reportingExit prepOngoing fundraisingPortfolio support“You need to start thinking about this 10 years in advance.”“It takes 15 years to become somewhat successful in this business. And once you get there—you need to start thinking about who'll take over.”Venture isn't just about spotting founders. It's about building the kind of firm that can back them for decades to come.Bernard and Thomas left the stage with no fluff—just a quiet reminder:Build slowly. Hire wisely. Think in generations. And good luck to all of us doing the same. The Early Days: A Market Without MomentumScaling a Firm: Culture First, Titles LaterOps Matter More Than You ThinkThe Final Lesson: Play the Long Game

In this episode, the conversation centres on embedded finance and digital transformation with Christie Kristensen, Partnership Manager at Danske Bank. Christie shares her experience working across fintech and banking, and how Danske is evolving to meet the needs of corporate clients by embedding financial services directly into enterprise systems such as ERPs and treasury platforms. The discussion explores how Danske is moving beyond regulatory open banking APIs to offer premium APIs that support real-time, data-driven decision-making. These APIs are designed to automate traditionally manual workflows like financial reporting and cash management, reducing reliance on outdated file-based systems. Christie emphasises a strong co-creation model, where product development is informed directly by customer and partner feedback, ensuring relevance and tangible impact. She also describes how Danske's strategy, known as the 428 plan, aims to position the bank as a vital infrastructure player in the ecosystem—focusing on powering finance rather than owning the user interface. The integration of AI and real-time data is also touched upon, with a view towards future-proofing financial operations and enabling predictive insights for finance professionals. With a culture that mirrors fintech agility, cross-functional collaboration between tech and business, and a firm commitment to customer-centric innovation, Danske Bank is setting a benchmark for how traditional institutions can reinvent themselves in the embedded finance era.
At the EUVC Summit, Bernard Dalle (formerly of Index Ventures) and Thomas Kristensen (LGT Capital Partners) shared candid reflections on how to build a venture firm from the inside out. Instead of fixating on star hires and grand strategies, their talk emphasized the compounding power of cultural alignment, junior talent development, and early operational investment.Drawing on first-hand experience, they unpack what it takes to build enduring institutions—where team, trust, and time matter more than titles.Whether you're raising your first fund or scaling your platform team, this conversation offers timeless lessons from one of Europe's most respected firms. Here's what's covered:00:45 Betting on People: Why hiring for cultural fit beats chasing CVs02:20 Long-Term Talent Playbooks: Junior hires, long runway, big impact03:50 Under-hiring on Purpose: Why Index rarely hired GPs straight out05:10 The Operations Edge: Building support teams early pays dividends07:00 The Index Blueprint: Early days with David, Pascal, and a deep ops bench08:30 Institutional Memory: Capturing partner insights across the portfolio

Origins - A podcast about Limited Partners, created by Notation Capital
Thomas Kristensen, Partner at LGT Capital Partners, has decades of experience backing the top players in venture, but as an LP, doesn't love the term "franchise fund.” He sits down with Bezer Clarkson, Partner at Sapphire Partners, to discuss why GPs can't rest on their laurels, that being a franchise shouldn't be every VC's ultimate goal, and how LPs can dig deep to find firms with a great founder product– and avoid ones that may look like franchises but could have already peaked. The two also share their predictions for 2025 exits and why they think a lot of founders don't want to be public company CEOs.Learn more about Sapphire Partners: sapphireventures.com/sapphire-partnersLearn more about OpenLP: openlp.vcLearn more about Asylum Ventures: asylum.vcLearn more about LGT Capital Partners: lgtcp.comFor a monthly roundup of the latest venture insights, including the newest Origins episodes, subscribe to the OpenLP newsletter – delivered straight to your inbox: subscribe.openlp.vcCHAPTERS:(0:00) Welcome to Origins(2:00) Are Franchise Funds Really Franchises?(7:49) What Counts As Performance?(12:03) How GPs Create (And Spend) Goodwill(15:45) A Consistent Founder Product(19:35) “There's Plenty of Good Firms Out There That I Wouldn't Necessarily Call Franchise Firms.”(27:08) Franchise Funds and Succession(35:43) Resting On Your Laurels(39:17) “A More Critical Year In Venture Than We Want It to Be.”
