What makes your day better? What brightens up your day? For me, it’s a conversation with others: my family, friends, or even with strangers that I happened to start talking to. And what I’ve realized is that "It is us people that lets us appreciate to be alive. It is us people that brings us happiness." On this podcast, hosted by a toast and croissant loving individual, Yuki Hayashi, I am sharing the stories from the interactions with others that I find inspiring and encouraging as well as funny and relaxing. About myself Having a huge love for toast and croissant, I am an undergraduate student at University College London (UCL) in the UK. Originally born and raised in Japan for 18 years, I moved to the UK 5 years ago. Current biggest passions: Breakdance (breaking), piano, learning languages

Keeping high motivation is tricky. At least to me, it is quite common to have these 2 following phases alternately : being highly motivated and having absolutely no willingness to put in the work. So the question is "How are we able to bring back our motivations when we are feeling low ?" or "How can we keep our motivations high up ?" In today's episode, I have shared my story of what has happened during my trip to Bordeaux this week, which taught me the answer to this question. I hope you will have fun listening to this episode ! ### If you have any questions you would like me to ask people on the street or any professions you would like me to do the interview with, feel free to let me know ! ### Contact me via: Instagram: Podcast account: @yuki.toastitup Personal account: @yuki.bboytoast Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pg/yukibboytoast/

I love things that are free - free food, free entry, free delivery. Since I eat a lot, I especially appreciate free food... But one thing I've realised is that people don't really think of what's going on behind this free stuff. There are some people or efforts involved, in order to make it free. In today's episode, I'm sharing an interview with one of the volunteers, who is giving a free tour at British museum. There are a lot of free tours going on at British museum every day and there are many volunteers taking part to help, in order to successfully operate them. In this interview, she shared with me what kind of process is required to become a volunteer, her unique stories, what she's gained from this volunteering, etc. As I've done this interview inside the museum, background noise is relatively loud. But, I hope you will enjoy this episode.
