In this episode, I discuss my feelings about how side hustle culture is a part of burnout culture. With so many people working themselves to the point of burnout, is adding more work onto your plate really responsible? I say no, and I'm here to talk about why — and how to reconcile when you do want or need a side hustle.

A brand new dress has been sweeping the internet, and certain brands I'd liken to parasites have taken advantage. Some people are eating it up, while some are diving a little deeper. In one of the most personal and serious episodes to date, I discuss my experience and research regarding hormonal birth control, specifically for kids and teens. I am not a doctor or medical professional, nor am I claiming to have all of the answers in this nuanced and ongoing conversation, but I believe that it is every person's right to understand and participate in the decisions that are made regarding their medical situation, including young women and people who rely on feminine healthcare. Kids as young as twelve are being put on the pill, often for no real reason, and with no education on its adverse effects. After being put on birth control at the age of fourteen, I experienced depression, acne, painful cramps, and other hormonal imbalances, but was repeatedly told that it was not my choice to go off of it, which is an experience that I don't wish upon anyone else. After going off the pill at the age of twenty-one, I was finally able to take control of my own body and my own happiness. All of the facts mentioned in this episode have been extensively researched through credible sources. From the increase in homework and productivity culture, to standardized testing, to the increased cost of post-secondary education, senioritis and student burnout can be seen in students as young as grade school. Why are so many kids running on empty? And how can we help ourselves and our youth get the most out of their education? In this episode, I examine the psychology and physical symptoms of burnout in students, look into adrenal fatigue and productivity overload, and try to break it down and find simple solutions. Special thank you to the parents and teachers I spoke to about parenting and Waldorf and Montessori education, and Hope Wolbach for talking with me about adrenal fatigue and burnout!

In this episode, I discuss protecting my energies and using them to help others, and why being an empath is a gift, not a chore! Using Reiki and my yoga practice, I have come to a place of appreciating and managing my life as an empath, and I believe that everyone has the power to do the same.

In this episode I discuss my journey from relying on makeup to love my face to loving myself with no cover-up. From the sense of shame that women experience due to impossible beauty standards, to the self-care of skincare, this journey is a long and continuing one that I am happy to be on.

In this episode, I discuss my experience performing a spell for happiness, and the way my life changed when it worked. While spellwork and magic are a part of this, I believe my experience contributes to a greater narrative about the law of attraction, manifesting, prayer, and positive self-talk.
