In this episode of "Next Level Healing," host Dr. Tara Perry engages in a transformative conversation with her guest, Kat, who shares her personal journey of healing and self-discovery through hypnotherapy. With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Perry aims to demystify the recovery process, making it accessible and relatable for listeners.Kat opens up about her struggles with chronic back pain, anxiety, fear, and self-doubt prior to their sessions. Despite trying various traditional therapies such as acupuncture, massage, and physical therapy, she found little relief, which only exacerbated her feelings of helplessness. Driven by a desire for change, Kat decided to explore hypnotherapy after being inspired by the teachings of Joe Dispenza on self-healing and the power of the mind.Early in the process, Kat experienced a shift in her mindset, realizing that the moment she committed to the hypnotherapy journey, her subconscious began to awaken. She describes the initial sessions as a safe space where she could confront her inner struggles and gain clarity. As she engaged with the hypnotherapy recordings, she felt a sense of lightness and began to feed the "good wolf" within her.As the sessions progressed, Kat noticed significant improvements in her back pain, which had decreased by half by the time of her second session. She likens her experience to building a sturdy bridge to her authentic self, allowing her to reunite with a version of herself she had long lost touch with. This newfound connection brought her joy, freedom, and a stronger sense of self, enabling her to establish better boundaries and clarity in her life.Work with Dr. Tara PerryTune in every week for a new episode of Next Level Healing. After years of struggling with mysterious health issues, Brad Pitzele's life changed dramatically when he was diagnosed with autoimmune arthritis in 2010 and malignant melanoma in 2014. Though his doctors prescribed treatments, Brad grew uneasy about the potential increase in cancer risk these therapies posed. Determined to find a safer, more holistic path, he delved deeper into his health—and uncovered additional infections: Lyme disease and Bartonella. As his fatigue, brain fog, and limited mobility became overwhelming, Brad sought alternatives that could offer real relief. In 2016, his doctor recommended either hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) or exercise with oxygen therapy (EWOT). Intrigued but unimpressed by the systems available, Brad decided to engineer his own EWOT solution. The impact was nothing short of life-changing: within a year, his energy, mental clarity, and physical strength were restored. The transformation was so profound that his doctor soon asked if Brad could build EWOT systems for other patients. That simple request became the inspiration for One Thousand Roads, a company rooted in Brad's firsthand belief that healing should be effective, safe, and accessible.Today, Brad empowers others living with chronic and complex illnesses by sharing his story and explaining how EWOT can accelerate recovery from conditions like Lyme disease, cancer, chronic fatigue, and autoimmune disease. In this insightful discussion, I chat with Dr. Sandeep Gupta, a proponent of integrative medicine and longevity health. We explore the evolving landscape of healthcare, discuss the limitations of the traditional medical system, and delve into the holistic approaches to health that focus on both healthspan and lifespan. What You'll Learn: The Shift to Integrative Medicine: Discover why Dr. Gupta transitioned from traditional pathways to focus on integrative and holistic approaches, driven by personal experiences and the need for a comprehensive view of health. Challenges in Traditional Medicine: Uncover the stigmas associated with holistic health approaches in the conventional medical setting and how these have historically been viewed by the medical community. Medicine 3.0 and Longevity: Understand Dr. Gupta's focus on healthspan and longevity, emphasising quality years of life filled with passion, joy, and meaning over merely extending lifespan. Metabolic Health and Chronic Diseases: Learn about the significance of metabolic health, its impact on major diseases, and how insulin resistance syndrome underpins many health issues. Diet and Longevity: Explore dietary recommendations for longevity, recognising the absence of a one-size-fits-all diet, and the importance of reducing sugar and refined carbohydrates. Muscle Mass and Health: Grasp the crucial role of maintaining muscle mass, its anti-inflammatory benefits, and its significance in preventing sarcopenia and indirectly reducing risks for major health disorders. Key Takeaways: Integrative medicine can offer a more complete approach to health, focusing not only on treating diseases but promoting overall well-being and longer healthspans. Traditional medicine often emphasises treatment of disease over prevention and maintenance of optimal health, a paradigm explored through Medicine 3.0. Metabolic syndrome is a silent precursor to many chronic illnesses, and dietary choices play a crucial role in managing this risk. Muscle health is vital; maintaining muscle mass as we age can prevent systemic issues and chronic disease. A balanced diet rich in diverse, colourful foods can bolster metabolic health and support a robust microbiome. Grounding and nature exposure are gaining recognition for their potential health benefits, including reducing inflammation and improving mental well-being. Resources To delve deeper into integrative health approaches and longevity practices, consider exploring resources and studies on metabolic syndrome, holistic care interventions, and the benefits of nature exposure. The conversation centers around the concept of "flow"—a state of being that many desire but often find elusive. Christy explains that flow is not just about feeling good; it encompasses abundance, success, love, and well-being. She emphasizes that flow exists for everyone, but individuals often become disconnected from it due to various life experiences and internal contrasts, such as past traumas and negative self-talk.Dr. Perry and Christy delve into the Law of Attraction, discussing common misconceptions that lead people to struggle with manifesting their desires. Christy highlights that while many understand the principle of sending out energy to attract what they want, they often overlook the importance of being conscious of the energy they are receiving and holding within themselves. This internal dialogue can significantly impact their ability to manifest their desires. The discussion also touches on the imprints from childhood experiences, both big and small, that shape individuals' beliefs about themselves. Christy illustrates how these early experiences can lead to feelings of unworthiness and how recognizing and processing these emotions is crucial for returning to a state of flow. She introduces the concept of the "drama triangle," which includes the roles of victim, persecutor, and rescuer, and explains how these roles can perpetuate feelings of lack and disempowerment.Throughout the episode, Christy shares personal anecdotes and success stories from her coaching practice, demonstrating how individuals can shift their perspectives and reclaim their sense of agency. This is not a theory; it's the next phase after COVID's global test run.As a holistic biologist working with both humans and animals, I see every day how our health and freedom are intrinsically linked. People and pets are sicker, more stressed, and more disconnected than ever — because we've handed our power away to systems that profit from our illness and compliance. It's time to draw your line in the sand. Illich begins his analysis by establishing the goal of the medieval reader, which Chapter 1 (Danny Thomas) shows is Wisdom, or the First Cause. This wisdom isn't relative; it's a fixed truth, much like the huge 'S' Danny is pointing at. It rests on sentences that carry their own authority, detached from the writer—the floating sentence. But how does one acquire this fixed wisdom? Chapter 2 (Nick Nolte) answers this by stressing the necessity of internal Order and Memory. Nolte's desperate need for bread shows the necessity of internalizing the text's objective order—the reader must literally press their will, like Nolte pressing his gown, into the fixed structural lattice of the text. Finally, Chapter 3 (Mickey Mouse) reveals the practical method required for this integration: Monastic Reading. The communal act of making a meal, represented by Mickey, becomes the physical, lifelong discipline of 'chewing' the text (ruminatio), transforming the reader until they literally become the text, just as Mickey's dress transforms into verses."#KennelKelp,#HolisticHealth,#MagneticMemoryMethod,#ReadingSmarter,#BillHolt,#GrandpaBill,#Trivium,#MemoryPalace,#MajorSystem,#LifelongLearning,
