We're all for celebrating victories and rewarding yourself, but there is definitely a right and wrong way to do it. You'll never make any progress if every time you take two steps forward, you treat yourself with two steps back. Treat Yo' Self by doing something that rewards you AND moves you forward. Killing it with your health? Reward yourself after your normal hard work routine with an extra delicious protein shake instead of the normal one. Get it? Good, now go get it!
Despite a near fatal attack of the giggles, we go over why it's okay to say no and why in fact you should be saying no more! There is nothing wrong with making yourself a priority. We also take a quick personal dive into some struggles we've gone through in our marriage of trying to support each other. Whatever your situation it's not easy to change you patterns as people want to keep you in your mold. Break out and be your better self!
If you're new to the fitness world you probably see supplements as something akin to steroids or assume that they're meant for high performing athletes only. Truth is that supplements are for everybody and that we should all be using them to round out our diets and improve our health.
What does out of shape even mean? Don't use it as an excuse, rather find your natural shape and make it sustainable for yourself. We're all different shapes and there is NO "best" shape.
Combining your life with another persons already brings enough challenges with it, don't let money be one of those. It doesn't need to be a taboo or sore subject in any relationship! If you're employers matches 401(k) contributions and you don't contribute, you're saying no to free cash!
