Corey Marksman defeated Jaycob Gomez in a battle of unbeatens, and Teremoana Jnr knocked out Dakota's guy, Curtis Harper.Lester Martinez won a 12-round unanimous decision over Immanuwel Aleem. The win makes Martinez the first Guatemalan world champion ever. In the co-feature, Kevin Anton, a junior middleweight, stopped Kudratillo Abdukakhorov, and Featherweight contender Albert Gonzalez recorded a first-round knockout over Brandon Chambers.A great British card. George Liddard won a unanimous decision over Tyler Denny, Jimmy Sains barely got by Derrick Osaze, and Leli Buttiegieg recorded a come-from-behind knockout victory over Jake Goodwin. The most promising contender, lightweight Giorgio Visioli, looked like a next-level talent. Also, Michael Conlan lost an uninspired split decision to Kevin Walsh. Dann also talked about his father's involvement in various martial arts and his own experiences growing up in a town known for its rugby players and fights. The conversation touched on the rich history of Liverpool boxing, mentioning fighters like the Smith Brothers, Jazza Dickens, and Derry Matthews.Jamie and Luke discussed the complexities of boxing's interim championship system, particularly focusing on the WBC's handling of titles and fighters like Oleksandr Usyk, Deontay Wilder, and Agit Kabayel. They expressed frustration with the lack of enforcement of rules and the prioritization of commercial interests over fair opportunities for fighters. The conversation also touched on potential fights involving Fabio Wardley, Daniel Dubois, and the postponement of Moses Itauma's match against Jermaine Franklin, suggesting alternative fight arrangements to maintain strong fight cards.Follow SimBoxx across all social media platforms
