Special guest and film producer Adam Sidman visits with Terence and Ian at his hotel room in Marina Del Rey. Adam used to work with the guys in TV and has now switched over to film. In fact, it was Terence and Adam who first interviewed and hired Ian to direct Auction Hunters back in the day. After reminiscing about the good ol' days, they struggle to remember James McAvoy's name. Then then dive into the differences and similarities between film and TV, all while eating hummus and disagreeing on which genre is better. Fans love to show up on set. Terence and Ian discuss the fans who show up on shows like Duck Dynasty, Love and Hip Hop, Auction Hunters, and American Pickers, dealing with them and trying to make your show at the same time. Executive Producers, showrunners, and production company owners -- Terence Michael and Ian Gelfand have produced over 50 television series and 20 feature films between the two of them. They're also entrepreneurs, with businesses outside of film and tv, from real estate to start-ups. Ian lives in New York. Terence lives in Los Angeles. This podcast was born from a series of neurotic telephone conversations that began after Terence returned from Louisiana, where he's the executive producer of Duck Dynasty, and attempted to prepare Ian to come on board the next season to direct and showrun. They both realize they're probably the only two people listening. And that's okay with them. For more information visit Terence Michael or email us podcast@terencemichael.com
