Например: угрюмую надежду в композиции The Storm Will Pass Джонса, сладость и тоску Escapatoria Джордана и душевное празднование The Art of Blakey басиста.

“Sometimes, ‘good enough' is good enough. You don't have to be extreme. In fact, extreme is so confining. Those things that are the most rigid are most susceptible to complete collapse. Building in flexibility can sometimes make things sustainable over time.”New Healthy Love and Money team member Dr. Christine Hargrove joins our host Ed Coambs to share her unique approach to financial therapy through the lens of neurodiversity.Walking us through her unique journey from religious studies to becoming a pioneer in financial therapy, Dr. Hargrove walks us through her experiences working with individuals and families affected by ADHD.Achieving breakthroughs in people's financial lives requires an understanding of diverse money mindsets and a willingness to get personal, in order to navigate financial stress more effectively. She contrasts the often rigid advice of mainstream financial influencers with the adaptable strategies of empathy-focused financial therapists like herself.Christine and Ed also get into the emotional impact of financial trauma, using her personal experiences from the 2008 financial crash to illustrate how economic events can shape your personal identity and family dynamics, for better or worse. Recognizing and bridging the gap between financial intentions and behaviors between your relationships, she says, promotes not only understanding, but also positive reinforcement within yourself. Finally, Dr. Hargrove speaks on the concept of proactive relationship wellness. In this episode of the Building PA Podcast, co-hosts Jon O'Brien and Chris Martin welcome Robert Hargrove, an acclaimed author known as the "CEO Whisperer," to discuss the essential steps for building a high-performance team in the construction industry. We kick off the conversation by emphasizing the importance of character in team building. Robert shares his insights on how many organizations often overlook character skills in favor of credentials, leading to teams filled with mediocre talent. He advocates for hiring individuals based on their character traits—such as proactivity, determination, and the ability to build a shared vision—rather than merely checking boxes on a resume.Robert introduces the concept of creating a "noble and mighty purpose." He draws parallels between sports teams and construction projects, highlighting how a shared vision can unite team members and help them work together towards a common goal. He challenges our listeners to consider whether they are merely focused on deadlines or if they are also embracing the deeper purpose behind their projects. The discussion then shifts to the role of leadership, where Robert encourages leaders to transition from a "cop" mentality to that of a "coach." He emphasizes the importance of mentorship and the master-apprentice dynamic, suggesting that true learning happens through hands-on experience rather than traditional classroom settings. Robert shares anecdotes from his experiences, illustrating how great leaders can inspire their teams to achieve more than they thought possible.Throughout the episode, we explore the significance of communication and collaboration within teams, stressing that effective leaders must not only set the direction but also teach their teams how to work together harmoniously. Robert's insights are both practical and thought-provoking, offering a fresh perspective on leadership in the construction industry. As we wrap up, Robert reflects on the American dream and the noble purpose of construction work, reminding us that what we build is not just physical structures but also a sense of community and self-actualization.This episode promises to inspire and empower those in the construction industry to rethink their approach to team building and leadership!Listeners can check out Robert's books, "Masterful Coaching" and "Mastering the Art of Collaboration," for further insights into effective team building and leadership.

Episode Summary:Liberation theology is a theological movement that emerged primarily in Latin America in the late 20th century, although its principles and ideas have influenced theological discourse worldwide for millennia. It seeks to address the social, economic, sexual, gendered, and political oppression experienced by marginalized and disadvantaged individuals and communities. Liberation theology actually dates all the way back to the Old Testament prophets, and can be witnessed in almost every spiritual tradition. At its core, liberation theology emphasizes the gospel's message of liberation and justice for the oppressed and marginalized. It announces God's preferential treatment of the poor, marginalized, and oppressed. God loves the margins because God was marginalized. It was Jesus' second-rate existence that allowed him to see and feel what those at the center of society were sheltered from and thus callously indifferent to. Seeking liberation and justice is the sine qua non of Christian discipleship. Standing in solidarity with the oppressed is one of the more practical ways to live out our faith in a cruel world.People on the periphery, those victims of our forced conformity, have the ‘eyes to see' what many of us at the center simply cannot see without their guidance. “To be in the margin is to be part of the whole but outside the main body,” writes Bell Hooks. Which gives those on the outside a different vantage point, as well as the power to create change. Today, we're having a conversation about change, injustice, liberation, and salvation and I can think of no one more perfect to address these issues than Kalie May Hargrove from The Center For Prophetic Imagination. In this episode we'll address:The systematic rights violations LGBTQIA students face at Christian collegesWhy liberation is more biblical than eternal salvationWhat you can do to work for justice in your communityHow to stand against the genocide in GazaSubverting the empires we find ourselves living in and benefiting fromBio:Kalie May Hargrove (she/her) is a writer, theologian, and activist. In this episode of the Thought Leadership Leverage podcast, host Peter Winick sits down with Robert Hargrove, founder and CEO of Masterful Coaching, co-founder of the Harvard Leadership Project, and author of ten influential books, including "Masterful Coaching." This insightful discussion explores the evolving landscape of thought leadership, focusing on the shifting dynamics in publishing and the rise of social media. Robert shares his unique perspective on how publishing has transformed over the years. During a recent visit to a Barnes & Noble, he noticed that most books in business and politics were authored by thought leaders. However, when he browsed LinkedIn, he observed a wave of recycled content from decades ago, repackaged as something new. This led to a conversation about how thought leadership has moved from long-form content, such as books, to short-form content on social media. While social media provides rapid access to ideas, Robert and Peter discuss the significant difference in depth and quality between reading a book and scanning a LinkedIn post. Defining thought leadership, Robert describes it as presenting a big idea that is eye-opening, brain-tingling, and paradigm- shifting. He emphasizes that the idea doesn't need to be entirely original but should offer a new perspective or improve upon existing concepts. He uses Marty Neumeier's "Brand Flip" as an example of how traditional ideas can be approached in a fresh way. The conversation delves into the nuances of thought leadership on social media, addressing the importance of civil discourse and respectful disagreement. Robert stresses that engaging with others' ideas and leaving thoughtful comments can foster a healthy exchange and build new relationships. He also discusses his journey into podcasting and the impact of verbal interactions on the audience, highlighting how even non-groundbreaking conversations can spark meaningful thoughts among listeners. Finally, Robert and Peter share their favorite podcasts and writers, such as Malcolm Gladwell and Adam Grant, comparing their unique styles in both book and podcast formats. Tune in to explore the evolution of thought leadership and gain insights into how to navigate and succeed in this changing landscape. Three Key Takeaways: • Shift from Long-Form to Short-Form Thought Leadership: The landscape of thought leadership has shifted from long-form content, like books, to short-form content on social media platforms. While this change offers accessibility and immediacy, it can lead to a reduction in depth and quality. Robert Hargrove discusses how, in the past, a book was a hallmark of thought leadership, but today, many thought leaders focus on shorter, more digestible content. This shift requires a balanced approach to maintain quality while reaching a broader audience. • Redefining Thought Leadership: Thought leadership is not just about creating original ideas; it's about presenting concepts in a way that is eye-opening, paradigm-shifting, or improving upon existing ideas. Robert emphasizes that thought leadership can be delivered through various mediums, including speeches, podcasts, and social media, not just books. He cites Marty Neumeier's "Brand Flip" as an example of presenting traditional ideas with a fresh perspective, highlighting that thought leadership can be achieved without a book. •Civility and Respect in Social Media Discourse: The episode explores the dynamics of thought leadership on social media, where it can be challenging to maintain civility and respect in discussions. Robert suggests that engaging in respectful disagreement, seeking dialogue, and contributing thoughtful comments are crucial for meaningful exchanges. He underscores that these interactions can help build relationships and open doors to new audiences. This approach fosters a collaborative environment where different viewpoints are valued and respected. Whether you publish your content in a book, on social media, or other medium it has to be clear and engaging. Peter Winick and the team at Thought Leadership leverage can help you develop a variety of material for any medium!
Robert Hargrove, the mind behind Masterful Coaching and a leader at the Harvard Leadership Project, delves into his coaching origins, advocating for a goal-centric approach that drives significant outcomes while redefining success. He highlights how, despite the challenges posed by organizational structures, there's a universal aspiration among individuals to thrive and impact positively. Robert underscores the critical role of authenticity and self-assurance when engaging with top executives, urging his audience to ambitiously envision beyond the usual limits. Further, he points out that the core of effective coaching lies in compassion and earnest support for both personal and professional development. Key Takeaways: [04:59] Robert shares the transition of his journey, recalling his early days organizing leadership weekends, driven by a passion to foster leadership skills. These became the foundation of his work in personal transformation seminars, leading to opportunities to implement similar programs in corporate settings, catalyzing cultural shifts and visionary leadership within organizations. [9:16] He talks about coaching and how it's changed over time. He believes coaching is about helping people achieve big goals, not just getting better at what they already do. Robert thinks coaching should focus on winning and getting results, like in sports, rather than just learning skills. In the end, he is still passionate about coaching as a way to help people reach their dreams and make big things happen. [15:23] Throughout his career, Robert shares that he has noticed a big change in what counts as success in business. It used to be all about making quick money for investors or climbing the corporate ladder. But with his approach to coaching, he's trying to change that. Inspired by thinkers like James McGregor Burns, Robert sees coaching as a way to lift people's goals and motivations, especially those in power like CEOs. His aim is to help them connect with their highest values and ideals, making a real impact in their lives. [16:45] In his coaching practice, Robert considers the question of what "winning" means to individuals and businesses. While he believes in letting people define success for themselves, he also emphasizes the importance of elevating their understanding of what constitutes true success. He engages in dialogue with others, encouraging them to share their perspectives on this matter. [19:14] He shares that the key to fulfillment for many seems to lie in discovering their passion, becoming a leader in their field, and making a meaningful impact on the world or within the organization. Robert also mentions that people inherently desire to excel and make a difference, but often encounter obstacles within organizational hierarchies and bureaucracies. Over his years of coaching, he has observed that many individuals express frustration with their bosses as a significant challenge. This highlights the importance of leadership coaching as a means to address such issues and empower individuals to unlock their full potential. [22:57] Robert recounts working with a dynamic leader passionate about sustainability, but who lost confidence and became overly deferential upon promotion to CEO in a larger division. Despite coaching efforts, the leader chooses security over personal growth, prioritizing approval from higher-ups and conforming to corporate hierarchy. [25:20] He shares his current focus on working with influential figures, including political leaders and celebrities, using their coaching skills for high leverage. Robert expresses a desire to collaborate with others, including the listener, to coach individuals on their list of influential people, aiming to expand it further and potentially advertise his services. He also introduces a new program called "Create a Legendary Company," which aims to help CEOs and entrepreneurs build companies that positively impact lives and generate significant revenue. Robert outlines seven business drivers for achieving exponential growth and emphasizes the importance of adopting a "TEN X MINDSET" for substantial improvement. [30:09] Robert shares insights on executive presence, emphasizing the importance of authenticity and confidence in interactions with high-ranking individuals. He stresses the need for normalcy in conversations and appearance, highlighting that executives should approach discussions with CEOs or other leaders just as they would with family members. Additionally, he suggests that starting one's own business can instill a sense of confidence and swagger, contributing to executive presence. [34:21] He encourages listeners to dare to dream beyond conventional boundaries, urging them to embrace the limitless potential of their imaginations. Robert emphasizes the importance of setting clear goals, noting that many individuals struggle to articulate their aspirations. He also highlights the essence of coaching as rooted in kindness and a genuine desire to help others. Regardless of financial compensation, he expresses a deep-seated love for assisting people in their personal and professional growth. [35:39] Closing Quote: Remember, intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death. -Albert Einstein. Quotable Quotes: "Better leaders, better world." "I want to help people become the leaders that the world needs." "Life's journey involved understanding the interplay of nature, nurture, and the transformative power of self-reflection." "Leaders develop by leading people to actually make something happen that wasn't supposed to happen, making vision reality." "The ultimate statement of your consciousness as a leader is your ability to produce extraordinary, intangible results." "Coaching is about going for an impossible dream." "The coach is usually someone who carries himself with a lot of dignity, a little bit of swagger, and interacts with people with toughness and compassion." "Coaching is really about elevating people's aspirations and motivations." "Capitalism needs to be an agent of social change." "Three P's: purpose, people, and profit." However, Jeffrey's parents discover some suspicious discrepancies to make them suspect he was murdered and while his cause of death is eventually changed from “suicide” to “undetermined”, there are no conclusive answers about how he was killed. February 20, 1992. South Korea. 30-year old Army Staff Sergeant Billy Ray Hargrove is found hanging by a parachute cord from a tree outside his residence and his death is ruled to be a suicide. However, six weeks later, Mike is discovered hanging by a parachute cord from a locker handle inside his barracks office.
