After outrage from angry parents, the Florida High School Athletic Association this week voted to remove some controversial questions from a physical evaluation form for student athletes. Also, the Florida Legislature returned to special session.

Jeremy Schiller is a boys' basketball varsity head coach at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He has more than 20 years of experience in both college and high school basketball. During his career, he has won over 400 games and several Coach of the Year awards, including the 2019 National Federation of High Schools Florida Coach of the Year. He has also coached numerous players who have gone on to play in college and professionally.Before IMG, Schiller served as the head coach at Lakewood Ranch High in Bradenton, Fla. Coach Mike Crowder has made an indelible impact on the North Florida wrestling community, with over 300 dual wins and over 30 state medal winners. He is also highly respected for the relationships he has built with former wrestlers and parents, many of whom have gone on to become assistant and head coaches themselves, continuing to pass on their love of the sport to younger generations. For Coach Crowder, it has always been about more than just winning; he is dedicated to building men who can succeed in life after they leave the mat. In addition to his coaching career, Coach Crowder has also worked diligently with the FHSAA on the wrestling advisory council, helping to get many important proposals approved. One such proposal was the implementation of the FHSAA State Dual Meet Tournament, which his team qualified for in its inaugural year. Due to his numerous accomplishments on and off the mat, Coach Crowder has been recognized by his peers on numerous occasions, including being named North West Florida Coach of the Year four times, All Big Bend Coach of the Year ten times, FACA District 3 Coach of the Year five times, and being inducted into the FACA Hall of Fame in 2018.
