Can a "real" scientist believe in God? Physics professors Brian Keating and Michael Dennin engage in a fascinating discussion about the existence of God, exploring the intersection of science and faith. From cosmic origins to the nature of miracles, these two accomplished scientists examine different perspectives on religion, including insights from Judaism and Catholicism. They tackle challenging questions about the Big Bang theory, multiple universes, and whether scientific evidence can prove or disprove God's existence. The conversation features reactions to arguments from both William Lane Craig and Neil deGrasse Tyson, offering a balanced and nuanced exploration of one of humanity's most fundamental questions. This inaugural episode of The God Question brings together scientific expertise and personal faith journeys, demonstrating how two physicists with similar backgrounds can arrive at different but respectful conclusions about the divine. Why?He Is Politically Red Pilled & Theologically Blue Pilled. The red pill answer is that God desires everything to be perfect. That's the whole point.Charlie could have absolutely red pilled the internet...if only he could see the big picture.

Arlina Allen - 12-Step Recovery and the God Question: Demystifying the 12 Steps Welcome to another episode of the Unhooked podcast! I'm your host, Jeremy, and today, we have a truly special guest with us. Arlina Allen is a Certified Recovery Coach, the Founder of Sober Life School, and the host of the award-winning recovery podcast "The One Day At A Time Podcast," which she's been running since June 2016.In this episode, Arlina and I dive deep into her remarkable journey in addiction recovery. She shares her insights on identifying the root causes of addiction and alleviating unnecessary suffering. Arlina opens up about her own traumatic experiences from childhood and how they led her down the path of addiction as a coping mechanism. One of the core themes we explore is the idea that addiction is often a symptom of deeper issues. Arlina emphasizes the importance of addressing these underlying issues and discusses the role of 12-step programs in her own recovery journey. These programs provided her with a structured process for self-examination and self-compassion, which proved to be invaluable in her healing process.Throughout our conversation, we also touch on various aspects of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and the broader topic of addiction recovery. Arlina sheds light on why some individuals have strong reactions to terms like "alcoholic" and how it can be seen as both a badge of honor and a source of shame. We delve into the history of AA meetings and how the practice of introducing oneself as an alcoholic became a common tradition. The concept of powerlessness in AA and its relationship to addiction recovery is another point of discussion, with Arlina offering her unique perspective.Arlina shares her insights on the role of a higher power in the recovery process and highlights the importance of community and social support. Sharing one's struggles with others can be a powerful tool in preventing relapse. In our conversation, Arlina highlights several key takeaways, including:Misconceptions about AA and how reframing certain words and concepts can lead to a deeper understanding. The transformative process in recovery and how discomfort and resistance can ultimately lead to personal growth. An openness to different paths to recovery, beyond AA, including psychedelic-assisted therapies. The incredible power of service in the recovery journey, both for personal growth and helping others.A teaser for a future episode where Arlina plans to delve into the topic of resolving resentment in relationships, a subject that many individuals dealing with addiction and recovery can relate to.Sober Life School- http://www.soberlifeschool.comReinvent - Self Esteem Course http://www.selfesteemcourse.comPodcast http://www.odaatchat.comFB: facebook.com/odaatchat IG: @odaatpodcast @arlinaallenSo, without further ado, let's dive into this enlightening conversation with A

Working harder is the secret to success, right? Wrong! In fact, working harder won't get you closer to your goals or get you the financial success you dream of. It'll only help you get old, tired, and burned out—not successful. So, what sets people who succeed in life & business from those who don't? Their character traits. And the good news is that these traits can be developed and honed over time. Join me in this episode as I share the character traits I developed early on in my childhood that helped me succeed later in life. And how you can cultivate the same traits in half the time. Listen now! Show Highlights Include: What making biscuits at 4 o'clock in the morning at Burger King taught me (and how you can use it to improve your work ethic & to live life more fruitfully) (5:03) #1 underrated character trait that creates an abundance of financial opportunities (13:50) What the bible proverb 22:29 can teach you about business and life (Warning: you risk a life of mediocrity & decreased self-esteem when you don't follow this…) (14:10) The “God Question” method for figuring out solutions to your problems when life isn't going your way (16:04) The crucial question you need to ask yourself if you ‘plan' to own a business (21:16) Want to stop doing what you hate? After years of neglect, our Republic is struggling due to us. But that's changing. The jury setup begins with demographic data. Not a loss, but a solid case against the FBI. SCOTUS seems tense. Bio truth means stop asking. Cell receptors and blank canvas HIV. A restraining order against voting machines is possible. Sketchy plane crash in Nepal. It is the people that are making things happen. A preemptive swearing in. Found the leak or created it? The Obot ran everything. Impeach 44. When a judge parties with Brandon. Larry Kudlow has been subject to unending attacks from the mainstream media since being announced as Trump’s chief economic advisor. Kudlow is a devout Catholic who credits God for getting him through his years of substance abuse. On CNBC, Kudlow said that, whatever might happen during his tenure as Trump’s advisor, it would be the will of God. This sentiment isn’t actually controversial, but on their MSNBC show, Ali Velshi and Stephanie Ruhle found it worthy of incredulous laughter and snide sarcasm. Velshi used to work for Al Jazeera—if someone there had said inshallah (God’s will) no one at MSNBC would have dreamed of treating them with such contempt! Kudlow is a fine conservative economist and will serve the president well. And his faith should be off limits.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
