(2 Tawarikh 16:9)Renungan: Tidak sedikit pengikut Yesus yang menganggap bahwa beribadah ke gereja di hari Minggu bukanlah keharusan. Hari Minggu sering dijadikan hari istirahat dan bersenang-senang setelah bekerja atau belajar selama 6 hari penuh. Kalaupun ke gereja, tidak sedikit yang datang terlambat. Seolah-olah beribadah di gereja bukan hal penting, sehingga bisa diremehkan. Padahal kita kalau berangkat ke tempat kerja atau sekolah lebih awal agar tidak terlambat. Mungkin juga kita akan memaksakan diri untuk tetap bekerja atau sekolah meskipun sakit, karena takut pada pimpinan atau takut ketinggalan pelajaran. Bagaimana dengan beribadah di gereja? Apakah kita juga sudah menerapkan ketaatan dan kedisiplinan yang sama untuk beribadah? Kerinduan yang besar untuk datang bersekutu dengan Tuhan melalui ibadah, merupakan salah satu patokan untuk mengukur kasih dan ketaatan kita kepada Tuhan. Jika kita menjadikan Tuhan sebagai harta yang paling berharga, maka hati kita akan melekat kepada-Nya, kita akan rindu bersekutu dengan Dia. Kehadiran untuk beribadah di gereja tidak dapat digantikan dengan apapun. Ketika kita datang untuk beribadah, kita telah menunjukkan kasih dan ketaatan kita kepada Tuhan, bahwa kita menghormati Dia lebih dari yang lain. Gantikan kemalasan dengan ketaatan, karena Tuhan mengasihi orang yang bersungguh hati kepada-Nya. "Karena mata Tuhan menjelajah seluruh bumi untuk melimpahkan kekuatan-Nya kepada mereka yang bersungguh hati terhadap Dia." (2 Taw 16:9). Tuhan Yesus memberkati.Doa:Tuhan Yesus, dari lubuk hatiku yang terdalam aku sungguh membutuhkan Engkau, tetapi godaan dunia kerap berusaha menjauhkan aku daripada-Mu sehingga aku melalaikan jam-jam ibadah dan jam doaku.
