This episode of the Stellium Astrology podcast is inspired by a student's query around manifestation. So I decided to share my personal experience with using a "house moving spell" that worked immediately but didn't go quite as planned. Fortunately, I learned the hard way, so you don't have to! Key points: why clarity is key when manifesting, and how every magical solution carries an inevitable repercussion, much like the waxing and waning moon. ANNOUNCEMENT I also share details about my availability for one-to-one coaching sessions to support your client work, chart readings, and astrology learning journey.

What truly separates mankind from other species is our irrepressible urge to shove things that are far bigger than the aperture of our dwellings into our dwellings. Some members of mankind will, at points in their lives, increase the size of their dwellings or move to bigger dwellings, but it is implicitly understood that the aperture into this dwelling must remain the same size so that oversized objects can still be acquired and shoved through it, thus sating mankind's purest impulse. Perhaps Roy of Spalding is, as we speak, proudly and sweatily draped across a big thing he has freshly shoved into his own dwelling. Perhaps he is lodged between his front door frame and the arm rest of a sumptuous leather sofa. Either way what is on his mind is moving house and that is this week's (perpetually relevant) topic for the beans. With thanks to our editor Laura Grimshaw.Join our PATREON for ad-free episodes and bonus/video episodes: www.patreon.com/threebeansaladMerch available here: www.threebeansaladshop.comGet in touch: threebeansaladpod@gmail.com Insta: threebeansaladpod

For this episode, we travelled to rural Indiana to meet Daniel - a former creative professional whose career was upended by the layoffs of 2020. With an industry in collapse and no clear next step, Daniel and his family made a life-changing move: back to the farming community where he was raised, to start over from scratch. What began as an experimental side project in his basement has grown into a thriving letterpress studio. Now, Daniel creates custom prints, collaborates with businesses, and shares his journey through talks and workshops across the U.S., all from his home studio nestled in the heart of farmland - which we visited! His story is one of creative reinvention and the power of staying open to unexpected possibilities. A LOT has happened in my world since we were last connected, as I'm certain has been the case for you too. It feels natural to share the momentous moments of the last 18 months (give or take) since I was generously sharing with you. A reintroduction to the familiar ears and a big 'hello, this is me' if you've just found my work. Any great change in life comes with many growing pains, big learnings and of course letting go of a whole lot, all of which were the medicine of 2023. In this episode I fill in the gaps from when I was last here up until Nov/Dec 2023. From moving interstate, to purchasing an online business that later became a retail store, to moving house and our life in Byron, I share it all here. Laced with sweet lessons and bountiful gifts, 2023 was *monumental* in forging a new path for myself and my family. Be sure to stop back tomorrow (if you're listening in real time) for part two episode 96 where I bring you right up to now. To add a deeper layer and for the video montage of this episode, come on over to Substack (a blog like platform for writers) where I give you a deeper look into life. Recent data has shown people are leaving major cities in large numbers.
Wholesale power prices might have fallen from the atmospheric heights of last month, but independent electricity retailers say that's not the end of the story. Electric Kiwi has supplied data to RNZ that shows householders have been affected, with people wanting to switch to a new power provider facing higher bills than before the wholesale surge. Money correspondent Susan Edmunds spoke to Corin Dann.

Moving house, they say, is one of life's most stressful events, but it doesn't have to be. Sure, it stirs up a ton of emotions and learned patterns, but with the right awareness and intention, it can be a magical time and a beautiful voyage to a new world. We can discover new parts of ourselves, deconstruct feelings as they come up, and treat the move as a trampoline to jump into the future with ease and excitement. Moving to a new home also reveals something deeply rooted in us. The way we navigate all transitions surprisingly tells us a lot about the biggest transition we've ever made - being born. With curiosity, we can examine this pattern and use this time to heal ourselves. How do we move with ease and essence? How do we honor all the difficult emotions that come up, while also celebrating this amazing transition? In this episode, we talk about how a situation most people find chaotic and stressful offered many beautiful moments to be, play, and love! You're going to continue moving through life in the same way you first learned to make transitions unless you change the pattern. -Katie Hendricks Three Things You'll Learn In This Episode -Accompany your whole self to the new place When we commit to revealing rather than concealing, we get access to all these delicious tools that allow us to move through transitions with greater ease. How do we bring that forth? -Turn towards each other If we're experiencing a transition with a significant other, how can we create a shared space of safety, nurturing, and celebration? -The work works Of course, moving won't be a smooth process and wobbles are par for the course. How do we recover and recommit to tapping into the magic?

In this episode, Karen O'Connor reflects on her podcast journey and shares updates on her life over the past year. She discusses the vulnerability and challenges of sharing personal thoughts and experiences. Karen explores the concept of finding purpose in life and the pressure society places on individuals to have a singular purpose. She also delves into her decision to take a break from her long-term marriage to rediscover herself and her desires. Karen highlights the importance of addressing discomfort and making changes to live a more fulfilling life. Key Takeaways: Why finding a singular purpose in life can be challenging, and it's okay to have multiple purposes and goals. How goals can feel restrictive, and how focusing on outcomes and experiences can provide more freedom and possibilities. The importance of prioritising one's own wants and needs instead of solely focusing on others. How society's expectations and gender roles can limit personal growth and fulfillment. How taking action and addressing discomfort can lead to personal growth and a more authentic life. Quote: "I don't have a single purpose in life, a single goal that I want to achieve, a single thing that I'm going to do and make it my life's meaning." Timestamp 03:37 - The limitations of setting goals and finding meaning 08:17 - Exploring the idea of spending time apart in a long-term relationship 13:26 - The difficulty of making the decision to separate 18:07 - Taking action and embracing uncertainty is perceived as unusual 24:11 - Gender differences are mostly a result of societal training 27:49 - Children's response to bullying is ostracising the bully. 33:05 - Tolerating inappropriate behavior as a woman. 35:52 - Realisation of tolerating discomfort and danger in life. 39:14 - Feeling the cognitive dissonance of being a woman in patriarchy.
