The UK, France, and Germany have put forward their own counter-proposal, and the draft differs sharply from the US version. Like with prior proposed deals, it contains terms which Moscow is expected to flatly reject, mostly notably it does not provide guarantees that Ukraine will stay out of NATO, and also absent is the ceding of any territory. (The Center Square) – The Illinois Freedom Caucus has filed articles of impeachment against Gov. J.B. Pritzker for what it says is his engaging in conduct that constitutes inciting violence. Part of the impeachment resolution in House Resolution 466 that the Illinois Freedom Caucus filed includes quotes from Pritzker's State of the State speech on Feb. 19 where he characterized the Trump administration as using an authoritarian playbook. “If you think I'm overreacting and sounding the alarm too soon, consider this: It took the Nazis one month, three weeks, two days, eight hours and 40 minutes to dismantle a constitutional republic,” Pritzker said earlier this year. On April 27th, ICE, alongside the FBI, conducted a massive raid on a nightclub in Colorado Springs. President Trump said he envisions the area becoming “the Riviera of the Middle East.” During reconstruction, he suggested displaced Palestinians could live in neighboring countries like Egypt and Jordan. 3:10pm- Speaking from the House floor, Congressman Al Green (D-TX) announced “the movement to impeach the president has begun”—baselessly claiming that President Donald Trump is guilty of “dastardly deeds done.” 3:20pm- Dozens of Democrats spoke at a “Nobody Elected Elon” rally in Washington D.C. One notable speaker was Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer who unsuccessfully attempted to lead protesters in a “we won't rest” chant. 3:40pm- On Thursday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order protecting women's sports—preventing biological males from competing in women's sports. During the White House event announcing the decision, Trump was surrounded by female athletes and women in sports including Paula Scanlan, Riley Gaines, Jennifer Sey, and Sage Steele.

The SECOND impeachment crushed any lingering attempt by Trump to overthrow the Biden Government-In-Waiting in 2021 and provided the impetus for the January 6th prosecutions. In fact, since Nixon, every party that impeached or TRIED to impeach a president won the next elections. House, Senate, White House. Thirteen straight.
