Welcome to the audio podcast for Dogwood Church in Athens, TX.
Scripture declares in 2 Cor. 5:21 "For God hath made Jesus to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him." This is to say when Jesus lives in us and we take on His name of Christian, we are restored to Father God. Our desire is to be in 'right standing' with our God. Right standing is to follow after His Word until our meditation of Him guides us into paths that are right in His eyes. We are challenged to be acceptable to our God and Savior.
In today's podcast, Pastor Dom preaches on how the Lord wants us to be healthy and healed. A lot of the time we believe in God, but that's where it ends. Belief in God is more than knowing He existed. Know God is real, but also know that He wants His children healed and healthy. Believe it and receive it!James 1:6 https://www.bible.com/bible/114/JAS.1.6.NKJVEphesians 2:8 https://www.bible.com/bible/116/EPH.2.8.NLTRomans 10:17 https://www.bible.com/bible/114/ROM.10.17.NKJVRomans 8:31-32 https://my.bible.com/bible/114/ROM.8.31-32Psalms 147:3 https://www.bible.com/bible/114/PSA.147.3.NKJVMark 5:25-29,34 https://my.bible.com/bible/114/MRK.5.25-29,3Matthew 8:5-8,13 https://my.bible.com/bible/116/MAT.8.5-8,13Matthew 15:30 https://www.bible.com/bible/116/MAT.15.30.NLTMark 9:23-24 https://my.bible.com/bible/116/MRK.9.23-24Romans 10:9 https://www.bible.com/bible/114/ROM.10.9.NKJVHebrews 13:8 https://www.bible.com/bible/114/HEB.13.8.NKJVMatthew 19:26 https://www.bible.com/bible/114/MAT.19.26.NKJV2 Corinthians 5:7 https://www.bible.com/bible/114/2CO.5.7.NKJVMark 10:27 https://www.bible.com/bible/114/MRK.10.27.NKJV
Harvest Bible Fellowship's weekly Message.
We know we are not perfect, yet He remains the same. Heb. 13:8 tells us, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." He asks one thing of Us; Jesus said: "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself." Luke 10:27

Pastor Marc Sharp continues with Part 17 of the current series that is an epic journey through the New Testament Gospel of Mark, verse by verse. The book of Mark was most likely the first one written, and is generally attributed to John Mark, a close associate of Peter, and also of Paul and Barnabas. The Gospel of Mark is all about Jesus and the good news (Gospel) of the kingdom of God. Who was Jesus really, and why exactly did he come? In the last several weeks we have heard how Jesus proved his divine nature and his authority over sickness and death, learning about his redemptive work. In today's message, Jesus visits the Synagogue in Nazareth, and the people react to him with astonishment, offense, and unbelief. Why? The book of Haggai is presented by Pastor Marc Sharp as he continues the series on the minor prophets. In Haggai, God is portrayed as the Sovereign One who controls the fortunes of both his people and of the nations. He controls nature, motivates his people to action, and establishes and deposes kings and kingdoms. However, the things of God were not being attending to by his people. Instead, they pursued comfort, economic security, even prosperity, while God’s interests were totally neglected. Likewise, today people will attach themselves to churches, ministries, and theologies, but not to Jesus. They will do the bare minimum to claim an association with the people of God, all the while ignoring the things of God! The New Covenant matters because you can now CONFIDENTLY approach God. Faith is confidence in the person of Jesus Christ and in his power, so that even when his power does not serve my end, my confidence in him remains because of who he is. —Ravi Zacharias The New Covenant matters because God INITIATED it and Jesus SECURES it The New Covenant matters because it will NEVER change

Christine Darg encourages belief in divine healing according to Hebrews 13:8-the Lord is the same today as yesterday. He healed ALL who came to him in faith.
Isaiah 53:3, Psalm 114, Psalm 115, Revelation 1:8, Hebrews 13:8, Psalm 102:25-27, Psalm 48:14
The Lord is full of compassion and greatly desires to show His healing mercies to us (Psalm 145). So Jesus was moved with compassion and healed the sick. In this study Hilary presents the compassion of Jesus as revealed in His healing ministry, and points out that Jesus is the same today (Hebr 13:8).
