Julie Paama-Pengelly is a Māori tā moko artist, painter, commentator, & curator and is a veteran in the revitalization of taa moko Maaori tattooing. Her studio in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand mixes contemporary and traditional designs and cultivates artists from all walks of life. With expansive teaching experience, her art practice ranges from the use of symbolic imagery to pure abstraction in graphic design, painting, mixed media, and tattooing. Over time many misconceptions have surfaced about who has the right to wear and practice taa moko. Julie is one of the first women to practice in the male-dominated field. In this interview, Lorie explains the concept of light codes and their activation in the human body, as well as the fall from grace and the journey back to Earth's initial blueprint of the fifth dimension. Lorie Ladd knew at the age of 13 that she was here to assist in this human evolution. She was walking down the street in a cute beach town called Hermosa Beach, wearing her worn out flip flops, and she heard this loud whisper outside of her say, “You are here to assist humanity through their evolution”. She knew this message was her Divine blueprint and that she was here on the Planet for something greater than she understood. It took her about 30 more years to courageously commit to that Divine message, letting go of any idea of how she thought my life would play out. In 2016 she moved from Marin County, CA where she was an executive assistant and cocooned myself into the small town of Mount Shasta, CA. It was here she launched her own platform and began to teach about the evolution in human consciousness, reaching millions of people.
