Kencan Dengan Tuhan - Selasa, 16 Juni 2026Bacaan: Maka murid-murid-Nya membangunkan Dia dan berkata kepada "Guru, Engkau tidak perduli kalau kita binasa?" (Markus 4:38)Renungan: Ada satu pertanyaan, "Kapan seseorang dikatakan tidak peduli?" Jawabnya adalah, "Ketika ia tidak mau tahu dengan apa yang terjadi, la menolak memahami, ia acuh, dan menganggap orang lain tidak penting." Orang yang tak peduli juga egois dan memikirkan dirinya sendiri. Sikap seperti itu tentu sangat jauh dari karakter Yesus. Namun, Alkitab mencatat bahwa setidaknya dua kali Yesus dituduh sebagai pribadi yang tidak peduli. Mereka yang mengatakan demikian adalah orang-orang terdekat-Nya. Di mata Marta, Yesus tidak menganggap penting susah payah Marta dalam menjamu para tamunya itu. Respons Yesus terhadap tuduhan itu memberi alasan sebenarnya. Kekhawatiran (Luk. 10:41) dan ketakutan (Mrk. 4:40) membuat mereka merasa Yesus seolah tidak peduli. Demikian juga ketika kita merasa Tuhan diam saja, ketika kita merasa Tuhan bahkan tidak peduli pada kita. Daripada menuduh Dia, periksalah diri kita. Bukankah kekhawatiran dan ketakutan kita yang bicara demikian? Kekhawatiran sering kali muncul karena kita tidak mengenal Tuhan dengan benar. Karena itulah, Yesus berkata, daripada khawatir, carilah dahulu Kerajaan Allah dan kebenarannya (Mat. 6:33). Orang yang tidak mengenal Allah akan sibuk dengan kekhawatirannya (Mat. 6:31-32). For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." There is a cost for your desired prayer life to be effective for His service. Commitment for consistent time and focus is always being interrupted by random thoughts and evil attacks. Psa 126:5-6 "They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him."

Mata jasmani terbatas pada sebuah sudut jalan tetapi mata iman melihat apa yang ada di balik sudut jalan. Mata jasmani melihat kegelapan tetapi mata iman menjangkau secercah sinar di balik kegelapan. Mata jasmani menimbulkan keputusasaan tetapi mata iman menimbulkan kekuatan dan pengharapan. Mata iman menjadikan tenang di kala badai menerpa, terhibur ketika kesedihan mendera, tersenyum di balik duka, berbahagia di tengah kepedihan, dan menemukan jalan ketika tiada jalan. Dalam 2 Raj 6:15-17 kita melihat tentara Raja Aram datang mengepung kota Dotan di mana Elisa berada. Dan ketika pelayan abdi Tuhan, Gehazi, melihat tentara Aram yang besar itu, maka ia ketakutan dan memberitahukan kepada Elisa, namun Elisa hanya berkata, "Jangan takut, sebab lebih banyak yang menyertai kita dari pada yang menyertai mereka." Gehazi dengan mata jasmaninya, melihat tentara Aram yang besar sehingga membuat ia gemetar ketakutan. Sedangkan nabi Elisa dengan mata iman, melihat tentara Tuhan yang jauh lebih besar. Gehazi hanya mampu melihat situasi yang dia hadapi dengan mata jasmani. Oleh sebab itulah Nabi Elisa berdoa, "Ya Tuhan, bukalah kiranya matanya supaya ia melihat." Maka Gehazi mulai memiliki mata yang melihat. Nabi Elisa menjalani jenis kehidupan "hidup bukan karena melihat tetapi karena percaya" (2 Kor 5:7). Sedangkan pelayan abdi Tuhan itu menjalani kehidupan yang "memiliki mata namun tidak melihat" (Mrk 8:18). Banyak kali kita juga menjalani kehidupan kekristenan Gehazi, kehidupan yang tidak seimbang. Dengan kata lain, mata jasmani bertindak dan berpengaruh jauh lebih besar dari mata iman. Akhirnya, kehidupan kekristenan yang kita jalani adalah kehidupan yang uring-uringan karena sebuah masalah; penuh dengan kecemasan, ketakutan, dan kekalahan; tidak memiliki sikap iman di dalam Tuhan; kering akan campur tangan Tuhan. Ini bukanlah kehidupan yang Tuhan inginkan! Kita harus mempunyai keyakinan bahwa Tuhan mengontrol seluruh kehidupan kita. Tuhan yang kita sembah adalah Tuhan yang besar, yang bukan sekadar mampu menciptakan langit dan bumi, tetapi juga mampu mengubah situasi dan kesusahan yang kita hadapi. Untuk itulah kita harus dapat melihat segala keadaan dengan mata iman, agar di setiap sudut jalan kehidupan, kita menemukan campur tangan Tuhan. S&P Futures are indicating a higher opening this morning as the markets prepare for one of the busiest weeks of years. The big news event is the announcement of a U.S. EU trade agreement over the weekend. This was widely expected, and markets are waiting for some additional clarity on the details. China and the U.S. are meeting in Sweeden today for another round of trade talks. Expectation is for another 90 days pause on tariffs. The Trump administration is expected to announce the results of a national security investigation into semiconductor imports within the next two weeks. Trade Agreements, Earnings Fed decision and a host of key economic datapoint will dominate this week's trading. On Sunday, President Trump announced deal with E.U. imposing 15% tariffs and averting trade war. Bangladesh ordered 25 Boeing planes in effort to lower tariffs. An announcement of a trade deal with India is unlikely this week as talks are scheduled for later next month. On the earnings front, PG, UNH, AZN, MRK, BA, SPOT & UPS are all releasing earnings tomorrow morning.

Kencan Dengan Tuhan - Senin, 16 Juni 2025Bacaan: "Ketika pelayan abdi Allah bangun pagi-pagi dan pergi ke luar, maka tampaklah suatu tentara dengan kuda dan kereta ada di sekeliling kota itu. Lalu berkatalah bujangnya itu kepadanya: "Celaka tuanku! Apakah yang akan kita perbuat?" Jawabnya: "Jangan takut, sebab lebih banyak yang menyertai kita dari pada yang menyertai mereka." Lalu berdoalah Elisa: "Ya TUHAN: Bukalah kiranya matanya, supaya ia melihat." Maka TUHAN membuka mata bujang itu, sehingga ia melihat. Tampaklah gunung itu penuh dengan kuda dan kereta berapi sekeliling Elisa." (2 Raja-raja 6:15-17) Renungan: Mata jasmani terbentur pada sebuah tembok tetapi mata iman melompati tembok. Mata jasmani melihat kegelapan tetapi mata iman menjangkau secercah sinar di balik kegelapan. Mata jasmani menimbulkan keputusasaan tetapi mata iman menimbulkan kekuatan dan pengharapan. Mata iman menjadikan tenang di kala badai menerpa, terhibur ketika kesedihan mendera, tersenyum di balik duka, berbahagia di tengah kepedihan, dan menemukan jalan ketika tiada jalan. Dalam 2 Raj 6:15-17 kita melihat tentara Raja Aram datang mengepung kota Dotan di mana Elisa berada. Dan ketika pelayan abdi Tuhan, Gehazi, melihat tentara Aram yang besar itu, maka ia ketakutan dan memberitahukan kepada Elisa, namun Elisa hanya berkata, "Jangan takut, sebab lebih banyak yang menyertai kita dari pada yang menyertai mereka." Gehazi dengan mata jasmaninya, melihat tentara Aram yang besar sehingga membuat ia gemetar ketakutan. Sedangkan nabi Elisa dengan mata iman, melihat tentara Tuhan yang jauh lebih besar. Gehazi hanya mampu melihat situasi yang dia hadapi dengan mata jasmani. Oleh sebab itulah Nabi Elisa berdoa, "Ya Tuhan, bukalah kiranya matanya supaya ia melihat." Maka Gehazi mulai memiliki mata yang melihat. Nabi Elisa menjalani jenis kehidupan "hidup bukan karena melihat tetapi karena percaya" (2 Kor 5:7). Sedangkan pelayan abdi Tuhan itu menjalani kehidupan yang "memiliki mata namun tidak melihat" (Mrk 8:18). Seringkali kita juga menjalani kehidupan kekristenan Gehazi, kehidupan yang tidak seimbang. Dengan kata lain, mata jasmani bertindak dan berpengaruh jauh lebih besar dari mata iman. Akhirnya, kehidupan kekristenan yang kita jalani adalah kehidupan yang uring-uringan karena sebuah masalah, penuh dengan kecemasan, ketakutan, dan kekalahan; tidak memiliki sikap iman di dalam Tuhan; kering akan campur tangan Tuhan. Ini bukanlah kehidupan yang Tuhan inginkan! Kita harus mempunyai keyakinan bahwa Tuhan mengontrol seluruh kehidupan kita. Tuhan yang kita sembah adalah Tuhan yang besar, yang bukan sekadar mampu menciptakan langit dan bumi, tetapi juga mampu mengubah situasi dan kesusahan yang kita hadapi. Untuk itulah kita harus dapat melihat segala keadaan dengan mata iman, agar di setiap sudut jalan kehidupan, kita menemukan campur tangan Tuhan. Jika kita hanya hidup dengan mata jasmani, maka kecillah kekuatan kita, tetapi ketika kita hidup dengan mata iman, maka kita lebih dari seorang pemenang. Tuhan Yesus memberkati. Doa:Tuhan Yesus, aku rindu senantiasa menikmati campur tangan-Mu dalam hidupku. Bukalah mata imanku untuk melihat dan merasakan keajaiban-Mu. Amin. (Dod).

(Markus 6:3) Renungan: Steven Spielberg adalah sutradara genius Hollywood yang telah menghasilkan banyak film terkenal seperti: E.T, Jaws, Indiana Jones, Jurasic Park, Tintin hingga Transformer. Steven ternyata dahulunya hanyalah anak biasa yang tidak menonjol di antara teman-teman sekolahnya. Sedemikian tidak populernya Steven, ditambah namanya yang sangat pasaran, sampai-sampai terbit sebuah buku berjudul "Whose Steven?" Unik betul judul buku ini. "Whose Steven" adalah sebuah buku yang bercerita tentang kehidupan Steven Spielberg yang masa kecilnya hanya anak sederhana yang tidak dikenal di sekolah dan pergaulannya. Ia tumbuh besar selayaknya anak-anak pada umumnya. Sedemikian tidak menonjolnya Yesus, sampai orang-orang terheran-heran ketika Yesus memulai karya pelayanan-Nya. Yesus seperti muncul entah dari mana. Sama sekali tidak ada referensi yang diingat dari kehidupannya sebelum menjadi pria dewasa. Tiba-tiba saja muncul sesosok pria penuh kuasa berjalan dari desa ke desa, dari kota ke kota. la mengajar banyak orang, melakukan mujizat dan tanda-tanda heran lainnya. Keheranan seperti ini bisa diterima akal karena baik Yusuf maupun Maria dan saudara-saudaranya yang lain adalah orang-orang biasa. Lalu bagaimana keheranan tersebut ditanggapi oleh orang-orang di sekitar Yesus yang menjadi teman sepermainannya sekian puluh tahun, ketika tiba-tiba mereka harus memanggil Yesus sebagai Tuhan? Memakai bahasa kita, "Bukankah dia ini teman kita, salah satu dari antara kita?" (Mrk 6:3). Sayangnya, mereka terlalu cepat membuat penilaian lalu kecewa dan menolak Yesus (Mat 13:55-58). Jangan sedih bila hari ini orang-orang tidak menghargai kita karena catatan masa lalu kita yang kurang meyakinkan, atau pendidikan kita yang rata-rata, dan latar belakang keluarga kita yang tidak istimewa. Kita mungkin saja orang biasa di masa lalu sehingga kapasitas kita hari ini diragukan. Kita yang di masa lalu, sudah berhenti di masa kini. Namun kita di hari ini adalah kita yang akan melanjut ke masa depan. Tidak ada yang perlu dijelaskan atau diklarifikasi kepada lingkungan sekitar. Jika mereka benar-benar mengasihi kita, mereka akan menerima kita apa adanya. Jangan terganggu dengan profil masa lalu, fokuslah membangun prestasi hari ini. Pengakuan akan datang di waktu yang tepat. Bila tidak di sini, mungkin dari tempat lain, di level yang lebih baik. Tuhan Yesus memberkati.
