Isoin yllätys tähän asti on suosikki Milwaukeen tippuminen peleistä Miamin käsittelyssä. Lännessä pelit on kuumia, mutta hyvin odotettavaa on, että konferenssifinaalissa vastakkain asettuvat jo tässäkin podissa ennen kauden alkua (joskus ikuisuus sitten) kaavaillut Los Angelesin joukkueet. Uudessa jaksossa tarjolla reilu puolitoista tuntia paatosta pudotuspeleistä.

Max's hot hand cooled ever so slightly yesterday and Panther picked up some steam. Panther went 3-1 yesterday. We make our NBA plays today and Max gives us his NHL action. Excerpts from Max's Notes: NBA Magic at Knicks The Magic lost by double digits last night in Boston and now head down to New York to take on a Knicks team that has won 2 in a row. The Magic are 1-6 in their last 7 and most of those losses were blowouts. The Knicks might be without Marcus Morris as he’s one of the more coveted players who could be on the move today. The Knicks are 7-3 ATS in their last 10. Pelicans at Bulls The Pelicans were on a nice winning streak before they had to play Houston and Milwaukee. Facing a two game losing streak, they head to Chicago to face an injured Bulls team that has lost 3 in a row. The big question is whether Zion will play tonight. He’s listed as questionable with a toe sprain. My guess is he will give it a go and either way, I think the Pelicans have a good chance of winning this one. But Chicago isn’t terrible at home and getting these points here makes me think they could be the play. 76ers at Bucks Philly has lost 3 in a row - all on the road. They can’t lose them all, right? Well, now they head to Milwaukee to play the Bucks who are back to their winning ways after a rare loss last week. Philadelphia got the best of Milwaukee on Christmas Day and this will be Giannis’ revenge. The Bucks are 23-3 at home. Spurs at Trail Blazers I bet against the Spurs the other night against the Lakers and it paid off. But it was a bit of a risk. San Antonio is 8-16 straight up on the road but that improves to 13-11 ATS. The Blazers are coming off a loss at Denver after a very hot streak - led by Damian Lillard’s sensational play. The big question for the Spurs is if they will trade DeRozan today. All of the money and public are on Portland and the line is a tad bit inflated here. Not much but enough to say maybe there is an expectation of San Antonio being short handed due to a trade. Rockets at Lakers Houston has won 4 of 5 and now begin their life without Clint Capela - a player who probably would have matched up well against Anthony Davis. But alas, the Missiles are embracing small ball and will try to outshoot the Lakers. LeBron and company are coming off a blowout win over the Spurs. NHL Red Wings at Sabres Detroit has lost 9 in a row. I keep expecting them to win one eventually and this could be a good chance to do so. Buffalo is 4-6 in their last 10 and has lost 3 of their last 4 home games. Money and public on the Sabres and line is getting better. Devils at Flyers A game where I don’t see the value is Devils at Flyers. New Jersey is 3-4-3 in their last 10 and have lost 3 in a row. The Flyers are 18-4-4 at home and are 7-2-1 over their last 10. The payout is good but I don’t see the probability to warrant a value play. Canucks at Wild I’ve made some money betting on the Wild this season. Vancouver was red hot and has cooled down - losing their last two. The Canucks have more talent than Minnesota but this is their fourth game in six nights and they are bound to be exhausted. Minnesota is not a very good team but they are 15-7-4 at home while Vancouver is 13-14-2 on the road. Money and public are on Vancouver and line is getting better for them. Golden Knights at Panthers Both teams are coming off losses on Tuesday night. Vegas is decent on the road with a 13-11-4 record but playing a Panthers team that is 7-2-1 in their last 10 and has a 16-8-2 home record. Kings at Islanders The Islanders got that big OT win over Dallas on Tuesday and now welcome the Kings to town. The Islanders are 16-7-4 at home and playing a Kings team that has a 2-7-1 record over their last 10 and is 8-18-4 on the road. This line is so damn trappish with shifts for both teams in the opposite direction. Avalanche at Senators Another chalky one. Colorado is 15-9-2 on the road playing a Senators team that is 2-2-6 in the last 10....
