The Lakers, mired in a tight battle in the Western Conference, faced off against another one of those teams in the same situation as LA, the Minnesota Timberwolves, on Tuesday night. For the Lakers, the key on Tuesday night was that they brought that same defensive energy used on Sunday to guide them through the first half. The Denver Nuggets saw this game slip out of their hands in the 2nd Quarter and never could get a full grip of it back. The Timberwolves saw the 4th seed at the end of the tunnel and ran right for it. The T-Wolves had six players in double figures with three of them shooting 50% or better. Joker and Jamal took 48 of the 85 shots for the Nuggets and it led to the 'others' not finding their form in time. The Nuggets will play the Jazz at 7PM MT on Monday night.
