What if Shakespeare had guns? Like really cool pistols with emblems on the side and stuff? And everyone was super cool? And hot? Well, you don't have to leave those questions unanswered, because Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet exists to answer the call. It's Jake first time witnessing this spectacle. Thankfully Michael is back on the show to help him through it. It's a wild ride, try not to die before the end.

We're joined by Michael Butler, candidate for Mayor of St. Louis, on the Marc Cox Morning Show, as he lays out his vision for transforming the city. Starting with a crucial proposal to set aside $400,000 annually for snow removal, Michael emphasizes the need to address critical infrastructure issues, especially when it comes to side street plowing during winter storms. He slams the current administration for its failed approach, stating that the people of St. Louis deserve better. The conversation turns to crime, with Michael detailing his plan to build a stronger, more equipped police force. He advocates for aggressive raises for police officers and is calling on the state to contribute to funding, rejecting the notion of a state takeover of the St. Louis Police Department. Tackling infrastructure, Michael proposes using RAM settlement money to address public safety and infrastructure improvements. He also addresses the growing problem of homelessness, emphasizing compassionate solutions that integrate mental health and substance abuse services, with an eye toward offering permanent housing options for those in need. With crime and public safety concerns top of mind for many residents, Michael's candidacy offers an alternative to the current administration, with clear action plans to improve the city's future. If you care about the future of St. Louis, this is one episode you don't want to miss.

Send us a text31 minutes of today's full show link below, I tell you about my experience with Milton and what is happening on the ground in Florida. I am triggered by Michael Butler from Southern charm, being in a Sarasota home, struggling to recover from a second stroke when a hurricane barrels into his area, I wonder about how he's doing and how other older people in these are being addressed. There are so many horror stories and coverups happening surrounding under represented people or elderly people in disaster being left behind to die. Therefore I invite award-winning authors and Anna Belden and Paul Gullixson to talk about their book inflamed. It occurs to me with my experience with Milton that now is a good time to have this conversation about the elderly being abandoned during catastrophic events. There book tells the harrowing story of how elderly were left to die in October 2017 wine country fires and thus also happened during hurricanes in Florida. I tell you about a horrific coverup and retaliation by rich people to protect their political agendas so they can keep cutting corners and getting rich while our elderly parents and grand parents suffer. It takes a lot for me to get activated But when I finally learned the truth, I can't help myself and neither will you! Today's show is a little off the beaten path, but given Milton right on point. Todays show will make you mid look Inflamed.
