At the end of Bettersten Wade's monthslong search for her missing son, Dexter Wade, 215 bodies were discovered in makeshift graves near Hinds County Penal Farm in Mississippi, with markers indicating that there could be hundreds more. Police insist the graves aren't a secret and that they're meant for inmates and homeless people without next of kin to contact, but the suspicious death and burial of 37-year-old Dexter Wade have his family and the community believing otherwise. Tuilleadh agóidí faoi chostais arda beartaithe ag mic léinn. News Hundreds of students walked out of lectures in third level colleges shortly after 11 o'clock this morning to express their dissatisfaction with the high cost of living and the accommodation and rent crisis. Nuacht Shiúil na céadta mac léinn amach as léachtlanna i gcoláistí tríú leibhéal go gairid tar éis 11 a chlog ar maidin inniu lena míshástacht a chur in iúl faoin chostas ard maireachtála agus faoin ghéarchéim lóistín agus cíosa. The students later protested on the lawns and squares of their university campuses. Chuaigh na scoláirí i mbun agóide ina dhiaidh sin ar fhaichí agus ar chearnóga a gcuid campas ollscoile. Young people across the country are struggling to find affordable accommodation close to college and many of them have to make a long journey every day to continue their studies. Tá deacrachtaí ag daoine óga ar fud na tíre lóistín inacmhainne a aimsiú gar don choláiste agus caithfidh go leor acu turas fada a dhéanamh gach lá le go dtig leo leanacht dá gcúrsa léinn. They are petitioning the Government to put restrictions on rent for students, give them accommodation subsidies and provide more accommodation for students that would not be under the control of the private sector. Tá siad ag achainí ar an Rialtas srianta a chur ar chíos do mhic léinn, fóirdheontas lóistín a thabhairt dóibh agus breis lóistín do mhic léinn nach mbeadh faoi smacht na hearnála príobháidí a chur ar fáil. Although the Government has approved a reduction of €1,000 on university fees for this academic year, the various memberships want the appropriate financial recognition to be given to doctoral graduates who teach university classes as part of their duties. Cé gur cheadaigh an Rialtas laghdú €1,000 ar tháillí ollscoile don bhliain acadúil seo, tá na comhaltais éagsúla ag iarraidh go dtabharfaí an t-aitheantas airgeadais cuí d'iarchéimithe dochtúireachta a mhúineann ranganna ollscoile mar chuid dá gcúraimí. The Union of Students in Ireland, which organized the national protest today, said that it is only the beginning of the campaign for their right. Dúirt Aontas na Mac Léinn in Éirinn, a d'eagraigh an agóid náisiúnta inniu, nach bhfuil ann ach tús an fheachtais ar son a gceart. At the protest at the University of Galway, it was said that Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael had plenty of opportunities to tackle the accommodation problem but that it was clear that they had not made any efforts. Ag an agóid in Ollscoil na Gaillimhe, dúradh go raibh neart deiseanna ag Fianna Fáil agus Fine Gael tabhairt faoin bhfadhb lóistín ach gur léir nach raibh aon iarrachtaí déanta acu. Students who took part in the protest outside the arts and sciences building in Galway were reminded to register to vote in order to have a voice in the next general election. Meabhraíodh do mhic léinn a bhí páirteach san agóid taobh amuigh d'áras na ndána agus na n-eolaíochtaí i nGaillimh clárú le vótáil le go mbeadh guth acu sa chéad olltoghchán eile.
