David Waldman continues to lounge in the Virgin Islands, perhaps a letdown for those of us who had favorited him in local Pedro Pascal look-alike contests, but not for you loyal listeners out there, as David made certain that there wasn't the slightest interruption in our KITM service. Of course, this show was pre-recorded last week, so listening to it you might not be aware that Donald K. Trump is an egomaniacal loser so bent on self-aggrandizement that he's ready and willing to destroy the world to get it. Or that his deplorable followers are so deluded and demented that they've become individual ISIS wannabees, hiding behind every bush. In Not-Weaponizing Government news, the Rurals have become less illegal, while the Urbans have become more illegal than ever before. Pro-Lifers might cut back on their assassinations if only their pro-life government killed more first. VA doctors are finally allowed to euthanize Democrats and unmarried. The Department of Veterans Affairs will be able locate and eliminate Libs much more efficiently due to the efforts of DOGE and its installation of AI into agency systems. Anyone with a Social Security number can now be doxed with a push of a button. That could ruin or even kill most people, but for some it could make them millions, maybe billions! DOGE can do just about anything, other than find federal waste and fraud, because that stuff is really rare.
The pro-life argument is about one thing: Is it okay to intentionally kill innocent human beings? Any distraction from that central question will harm our efforts to save children.Be sure to subscribe to The Case for Life Podcast on iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, or your favorite podcast app so you never miss a single episode.Follow Scott Klusendorf on Rumble, Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to be kept up to date on everything God is doing through my pro-life work.Sign up for Pro-Life 101: 7 Days to Confident Engagement: https://scottklusendorf.com/prolife101/Book me for an event or partner with Life Training Institute as a donor at https://prolifetraining.com.#life #prolife #abortion #baby #babies #women #shoutyourabortion #prolifeeducation #abortionrights #righttolife #healthcare #babieslivesmatter #abortionishealthcare #plannedparenthood

In March 2021, Paul Vaughn, along with 10 other a pro-life activist, demonstrated outside the Carafem Health Center, an abortion clinic in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Vaughn was sentenced to three years of supervised release, including six months of home detention, after a jury convicted him of violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act for blocking the entrance to the abortion clinic, according to court documents. The Daily Signal's Elizabeth Mitchell sat down with Vaughn to talk about his efforts to repeal the FACE Act. Since its passage in 1994, 97% of FACE Act arrests have been against pro-lifers, even though, “the law ostensibly is supposed to protect churches and places of worship and reproductive health centers”, argues Vaughn. Paul Vaughn was one of the 23 pro-lifers President Trump pardoned in January 2025. Glenn reviews some of the highlights from President Trump's and Elon Musk's dual interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity. Are President Trump and Elon Musk creating a missile shield over the United States? Musk also discussed the rescue mission for the astronauts up in space, as it appears that Biden refused to approve the Musk rescue mission to avoid the bad press. Glenn and Stu discuss the capabilities of artificial intelligence, including its potential to lead people not to pursue human relationships. Will AI be given the right to vote? Glenn breaks down the story of Joshua and Stephanie Mast, who rescued and adopted a baby girl, nicknamed Sparrow, who was likely the child of foreign fighters in Afghanistan. They now risk losing their child to the Taliban due to an apparent cover-up by the State Department, as her mere existence is proof of an international lie that would collapse a peace deal. Glenn's chief researcher, Jason Buttrill, joins Glenn and Stu to discuss the wasteful spending being exposed using new technology. BlazeTV host Liz Wheeler joins to discuss what pro-lifers need to know about IVF and its inconsistencies within the pro-life movement. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
It's Wednesday, February 12th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Nepal detained 13 Christians over evangelism International Christian Concern reports the government of Nepal detained 13 Christians last week over alleged evangelistic activities in the south Asian country. Twelve of the people are U.S. citizens, and one is a citizen of India. The American Christians were visiting Nepal on tourist visas and helping construct a building in the southeastern city of Dharan. However, officials accused them of sharing their faith with locals. The country currently bans attempts to convert someone from one religion to another. Authorities released the group of foreign Christians. However, the Nepalese Christians faced greater harassment for evangelizing, including years in prison. United Kingdom targets pro-lifers again Authorities in the United Kingdom continue to target pro-lifers. Alliance Defending Freedom UK released footage on Monday of the latest incident. Isabel Vaughan-Spruce is a co-director of March for Life UK, and was standing silently outside of an abortion mill recently. However, police told her that her mere presence was causing “harassment, alarm, and distress.” The pro-lifer has already faced arrest twice for silently praying outside abortion mills. She said, “[The officer] believes that just because I hold pro-life beliefs, I am automatically a criminal in certain public areas. This isn't right!” Proverbs 17:15 says, “He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD.” 36% of Swiss are non-religious Evangelical Focus reports the religious landscape in Switzerland is changing. The largest religious group in the European country is those who say they have no religion at 36%. That's up from 1% in 1970. Twenty-percent of the population identifies with the mainline Protestant Swiss Evangelical Church, down from 49% in 1970. And 31% identify with the Catholic Church, down from 42% in 2000. However, independent Evangelical churches appear to be growing even though they represent a small portion of the population at about 6%. Sadly, 17% of Evangelicals report experiencing religious discrimination. Trump imposes 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum imports Here in the United States, President Donald Trump signed an order on Monday to impose 25% tariffs on all steel and aluminum imports. Trump called it a “big deal” while signing. TRUMP: “This is a big deal. This is the beginning of making America rich again.” Peter Navarro, Trump's trade adviser, told reporters, “It's about ensuring that America never has to rely on foreign nations for critical industries like steel and aluminum.” Canada and Mexico will probably face the most repercussions from the tariffs as they are the largest exporters of steel and aluminum to the U.S. Google changed Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America for American users On Monday, Google changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America on its maps program. The change applies to users of the application in the U.S. This comes after President Trump ordered the body of water to be called the Gulf of America in U.S. government documents. He also issued a proclamation recognizing February 9 as Gulf of America Day. The government, database known as the Geographic Names Information System, released this update. “The Gulf of America, formerly known as the Gulf of Mexico, with an average depth of 5,300 feet is a major body of water bordered and nearly landlocked by North America with the Gulf's eastern, northern, and northwestern shores in the U.S. and its southwestern and southern shores in Mexico.” Psalm 95:3, 5 reminds us, “For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods. … The sea is His, for He made it; and His hands formed the dry land.” Google kisses DEI goodbye Speaking of Google, the major tech company is ending its diversity goals. Alphabet, Google's parent company, released their annual report last week. The report excluded previous language of commitment to “diversity, equity, and inclusion.” This comes after President Trump signed an executive order, ending diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in the government. Google said they would not be continuing such programs since it is a federal contractor. Shark attacks are down And finally, here's some good news! Shark attacks are down this year, according to the International Shark Attack File maintained by the Florida Museum of Natural History. There were 47 unprovoked shark attacks recorded around the world last year, down from the 10-year average of 70. And only four of those attacks resulted in fatalities, also significantly down from previous years. Neil Hammerschlag with the Shark Research Foundation said, “With more people using the oceans than ever before — whether for recreation, fishing, or other activities — you might expect bite incidents to rise. Yet, the fact that numbers are even lower than last year reinforces the idea that humans aren't natural prey or even likely targets for sharks.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Wednesday, February 12th, in the year of our Lord 2025. It's Friday, January 24th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus 5 Pakistani Muslims abducted 14-year-old Christian girl On January 9th, five Muslims abducted a 14-year-old Christian girl from outside her home in Pakistan, reports Morning Star News. Sharif Masih, of the Punjab Province, said he fears the kidnappers may try to forcibly convert his daughter, Saneha, to Islam and force her to marry one of the Muslim suspects. He said, “Saneha was lured out of the house by a Muslim girl whose family had recently moved to our neighborhood.” Please pray that God would protect Saneha from harm and return her to her family. According to Open Doors, Pakistan is the eighth most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Congress: Deport criminal illegals On January 22nd, in a vote of 263-156, Congress passed The Laken Riley Act which will be the first bill President Trump signs into law. The act was named after the Georgia nursing student who was brutally raped and murdered by an illegal alien with a long criminal record. This legislation requires criminal illegal aliens to be held for deportation. Gary Bauer, Director of American Values, wrote, “This is not a controversial idea. In fact, a recent New York Times poll found solid majorities in favor of mass deportations. There was overwhelming support (87%) for deporting criminal illegal aliens.” Bauer concluded, “Kicking out criminals is just common sense. But 73% of House Democrats and 74% of Senate Democrats voted against the Laken Riley Act. The rot in the Democrat Party is deep.” Trump pardoned 23 pro-lifers On Thursday afternoon, President Trump pardoned the 23 pro-lifers imprisoned during Joe Biden's presidency for their attempts to save unborn babies, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I set you apart." TRUMP AIDE: “Next, we have a set of pardons for peaceful pro-life protesters who were prosecuted by the Biden administration for exercising their First Amendment right.” TRUMP: “Do you know how many?” TRUMP AIDE: “I believe it's 23, sir.” TRUMP: “Twenty-three people were prosecuted. They should not have been prosecuted. Many of them are elderly people. They should not have been prosecuted. This is a great honor to sign this. (he signs the order) They'll be very happy. So, they're all in prison now?” TRUMP AIDE: “Some are. Some are out of custody.” TRUMP: “It's ridiculous!” The now-pardoned pro-lifers include Joan Bell, Coleman Boyd, Joel Curry, Jonathan Darnel, Eva Edl, Chester Gallagher, Rosemary “Herb” Geraghty, William Goodman, Dennis Green, Lauren Handy, Paulette Harlow, John Hinshaw, Heather Idoni, Jean Marshall, Fr. Fidelis Moscinski, Justin Phillips, Paul Place, Bevelyn Beatty Williams, and Calvin, Eva, and James Zastrow. I urge you to take a listen to the powerful testimonies of 11 of these brave pro-lifers, who urged abortion-minded pregnant women to choose life in March 2021 at a pro-life rescue at a Mt. Juliet, Tennessee abortion mill, through a series of conversations at StifledCry.com. That's StifledCry.com. Trump signs Executive Order releasing final JFK assassination files In addition, President Donald Trump signed an executive order on January 23, releasing additional government files associated with the assassinations of former President John F. Kennedy, former Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., reports The Epoch Times. TRUMP AIDE: “Lastly sir, we have an Executive Order ordering the declassification of files relating to the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.” TRUMP: “That's a big one. A lot of people have been waiting for this for years, for decades. And everything will be revealed.” The order calls for the National Intelligence Director and the Attorney General to present a plan to the president within 15 days for the “full and complete release” of the remaining JFK assassination records and 45 days for the RFK and King records. Trump and former President Joe Biden previously released thousands of documents related to JFK's killing. Roughly 99 percent of the assassination files have been released as of 2023, according to the National Archives. Episcopal Bishop confronted Trump on homosexuals and illegal aliens And finally, on Tuesday, a female Episcopal Church bishop directly confronted President Donald Trump at a worship service held at the Washington National Cathedral, where she pleaded with him to “have mercy” on homosexuals, transgenders, and illegal immigrants, reports The Christian Post. Bishop Mariann Budde of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington delivered the sermon at the Service of Prayer for the Nation at the cathedral. Near the end of her sermon, Budde directly addressed Trump, who was seated in the front row alongside his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, and Vice President J.D. Vance and his wife, Second Lady Usha Vance. BUDDE: “Let me make one final plea. Mr. President, millions have put their trust in you, and as you told the nation yesterday, you have felt the providential hand of a loving God. “In the name of our God, I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now. There are gay, lesbian and transgender children in Democratic, Republican, and independent families, some who fear for their lives. “The people who pick our crops and clean our office buildings, who labor in poultry farms and meat-packing plants, who wash the dishes after we eat in restaurants, and work the night shifts in hospitals. They, they may not be citizens or have the proper documentation, but the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals. They pay taxes and are good neighbors. They are faithful members of our churches and mosques, synagogues, Gurdwara, and temples. “I ask you to have mercy, Mr. President, on those in our communities whose children fear that their parents will be taken away.” Fox News commentator Greg Gutfeld brought clarity to the conversation. GUTFELD: “She's talking about behaviors. And she's cloaking these behaviors under the false guise of compassion. I mean, she's lecturing a guy who got shot about being in danger. Who is she implying that is putting these people in danger? Are there guys in MAGA hats that are mutilating healthy children and removing their genitals. No, that's her team!” And Liz Storer, Sky News Host in Australia, was equally horrified with the Episcopalian Bishop. STORER: “For shame! So, there you are. I don't know much about the Episcopalian Church, but there's your bishop in Washington, pleading with the new President of the United States to, I don't know, do what? -- for what the Scriptures very clearly call a lifestyle of abomination. “So, I don't know where this woman is coming from. This ‘our God' that she's referring to certainly is not the Christian God!” Leviticus 18:22 says, “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.” And regarding her reference to illegal immigrants, President Trump spoke out on Truth Social. He wrote, “The so-called Bishop who spoke at the National Prayer Service on Tuesday morning was a Radical Left hard-line Trump hater. She brought her church into the world of politics in a very ungracious way. … “She failed to mention the large number of illegal migrants that came into our country and killed people. Many were deposited from jails and mental institutions. It is a giant crime wave that is taking place in the USA. … She and her church owe the public an apology!” Close And that's The Worldview on this Friday, January 24th, in the year of our Lord 2025. It's Thursday, January 23rd, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Iran giving Christians longer prison sentences Article 18 reports Iran is sentencing more Christians to longer sentences. The Islamic regime sentenced 96 Christians to a combined 263 years in prison last year. That's up from 22 Christians sentenced to 43.5 years in 2023. Christians are also facing longer individual sentences. Some face up to 15 years all on account of their faith and religious activities. Article 18 said these cases are only the tip of the iceberg, noting that many go unreported. Iran is ranked ninth on the Open Doors' World Watch List of nations where it is most difficult to be a Christian. Germany's anti-Christian offenses almost doubled Germany's federal government reported there were 228 anti-Christian offenses last year, up from 135 cases in 2022. The offenses included one homicide, 14 bodily injuries, 52 cases of damage to property, 22 cases of threats or coercion, and 29 cases of incitement of the people against Christians. Trump ends Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs In the United States, President Donald Trump issued an order Tuesday, entitled, “Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-based Opportunity.” The order ends the federal government's hiring practices based on diversity, equity, and inclusion. The administration also instructed agencies to close diversity, equity, and inclusion offices by 5 p.m. yesterday. Staffers of those offices were put on paid administrative leave. Senator Hawley to Trump: Pardon the pro-lifers Republican Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri called on President Trump to pardon the pro-life advocates imprisoned under the Biden administration. On Tuesday, Hawley posted this on X: “I hope President Trump will shortly pardon the pro-life prisoners unjustly targeted & jailed by the Biden administration. They deserve to be free.” Fox News' Kayleigh McEnany, former White House Press Secretary under Trump, also called for their release. McENANY: “There are 21 pro-lifers that Biden put in prison, innocent individuals who sang about Jesus Christ in front of an abortion clinic in a hallway, not in the clinic. It was a peaceful protest. We played it on the show. Those individuals should be receiving pardons. “We are a week ahead of the March for Life, and I hope that the Trump administration deeply considers these peaceful Christians in a peaceful protest who were persecuted by President Biden. They should be freed.” Proverbs 17:15 says, “He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD.” Secretary of State Marco Rubio thanks “my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” Marco Rubio was sworn in as U.S. Secretary of State on Tuesday. The Senate unanimously confirmed him Monday. Rubio had served 14 years in the chamber before becoming Secretary of State. Rubio said the State Department would focus on making America stronger, safer, and more prosperous. After being sworn in, he gave thanks to God. RUBIO: “I want to end by thanking Almighty God and my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. That is truly the singular purpose of our lives. It's the most important priority. It's the only thing that will matter when we take our last breath on this Earth. “But this is an extraordinary opportunity. It would not have been possible without God's blessings. I'm honored, and I'm privileged, cognizant of the responsibility. And I want to thank President Trump for his confidence. “We will work hard every second of the day to help him achieve the agenda the American people have given him to achieve. Thanks for being a part of this today. God bless all of you. Thank you.” Winter storm hit the South A major winter storm hit the South on Tuesday. The storm brought record-breaking snowfall to parts of the Deep South, impacting a 1,500-mile span from the Texas Gulf Coast to Atlantic coast of the Carolinas. Even Florida and Alabama got historic snowfalls. Psalm 147:16-17 says God “gives snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes; He casts out His hail like morsels; who can stand before His cold?” FDA bans red food dye #3 The U.S. Food and Drug Administration banned the use of food dye Red No. 3 last week. The synthetic food dye can cause cancer in laboratory rats. The dye is still used in thousands of products to give food a bright red color, including candy, cereals, cherries, and milkshakes. Companies still have a couple years until they must stop using the food dye. Barna: Americans abandon discipleship and mental issues escalate And finally, Dr. George Barna released a new report on faith and cultural trends likely to emerge this year. The report notes several key trends. First, the syncretism train will keep rolling as people abandon a Biblical worldview for a blend of philosophies. Second, discipleship drops off the radar as the act of biblical mentoring becomes more uncommon in churches. Third, mental health issues escalate as Americans face more fear, anxiety, and depression. And fourth, the family will continue to be a contested and maligned institution. Dr. Barna noted, “In the end, it's all about worldview. And for those who seek a worldview based on Truth, it's all about pursuing the God of the Bible for the answers and connection we deeply desire.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Thursday, January 23rd, in the year of our Lord 2025. Assisted suicide could very well become legal in the United Kingdom despite strong opposition from ex-prime ministers, clergy, and healthcare leaders. This is just the latest example of how the culture of death is gaining strength across the West. On this week's episode of The Van Maren Show, Jonathon sits down with John Deighan of the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children to discuss the possibility of legal assisted suicide in the UK, as well as the most effective strategies for pro-lifers to fight back against the culture of death.Download the all-new LSNTV App now, available on iPhone and Android!LSNTV Apple Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lsntv/id6469105564LSNTV Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lifesitenews.app****SHOP ALL YOUR FUN AND FAVORITE LIFESITE MERCH! https://shop.lifesitenews.com/+++Connect with John-Henry Westen and all of LifeSiteNews on social media:LifeSite: https://linktr.ee/lifesitenewsJohn-Henry Westen: https://linktr.ee/jhwesten Hosted on Acast. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus 300 million Christians worldwide face imprisonment, torture, and murder International Christian Concern released its 2025 Global Persecution Index, highlighting 20 countries where Christians face extreme persecution. Among those countries are Nigeria, Iran, India, China, and North Korea. Over the last year, persecution has worsened dramatically in Nicaragua, India, and Nigeria. Christians face everything from government hostility and Hindu nationalism to brutal violence and technological surveillance. Jeff King with International Christian Concern said, “Approximately 300 million Christians worldwide face persecution of all types, including imprisonment, torture, and assassination.” Despite persecution, Christianity is showing resilience and even growing in countries like Iran and Indonesia. Indonesia joins Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa group Speaking of Indonesia, the Southeast Asian country, which is also the fourth most populous country in the world, joined the BRICS organization on Monday. The intergovernmental organization began with Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa – thus the acronym B-R-I-C-S. It has expanded to include Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates. The BRICS group is seen as a counterbalance to western powers in the G7 which includes Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. 70,000 Californians evacuate as 20,000 acres burn In the U.S., three major wildfires brought destruction to the Los Angeles area of California yesterday. The fires have burned over 20,000 acres, destroying over 1,000 buildings and killing at least two people. 70,000 people are under evacuation orders. Stoked by high winds, the Palisades Fire is the most destructive fire on record in Los Angeles County. As of yesterday, the fires were 0% contained. James Nelligan, a resident of Los Angeles County, texted, “It's super smoky; ash is raining down.” 87% of Congress are self-identified Christians Pew Research released their latest Faith on the Hill report, covering the religious composition of the 119th U.S. Congress. Self-identified Christians now make up 87% of voting members in the Senate and House of Representatives combined. That's down just a smidge from 88% in the last session and 92% a decade ago. It's still much higher than the Christian makeup of the general U.S. adult population at 62%. Also only 1% of Congress is religiously unaffiliated compared to 28% of the general public. Protestants continue to be the largest group in Congress at 55% followed by Catholics at 28%. However, the share of Protestants is down from nearly 75% in the 1960s. In 2 Samuel 23:3, King David said, “The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spoke to me: ‘He who rules over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.” 4,000 people have asked Trump to free imprisoned pro-lifers Over 4,000 people now have signed a petition through change.org for President-elect Donald Trump to free imprisoned pro-lifers. The petition includes the names of many pro-lifers who are facing prison, house arrest, charges, or sentencing for peacefully protesting at abortion mills. The petition to Trump says, “We ask you to reverse the weaponization of the Department of Justice and pardon these individuals, whose only crime was peacefully pleading for the lives of babies about to die. More than this, we beg you to consider the case for the preborn who have been sentenced to death with no trial. They are unseen and unheard, totally dependent on others, and completely vulnerable.” You can sign the petition through a special link in our transcript today at TheWorldview.com. Anniversary of Jim Elliot's murder And finally, this week in history marks when five Christian missionaries — named Jim Elliot, Nate Saint, Roger Youderian, Ed McCully, and Pete Fleming — were speared to death by Ecuadorean Indians they sought to evangelize. They died on January 8, 1956. Jim Elliot had famously said, “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.” Remarkably, after their murders, Jim's wife, Elisabeth Elliot, and Nate's sister, Rachel Saint, continued the evangelistic outreach to the very people who had killed their relatives. In October 1958, Mrs. Elliot, and her three-year-old daughter Valerie, went to live with the Indian tribe along with Rachel Saint. Elisabeth Elliot later published two books featuring the story of the missionaries and how God used them. They were entitled Through Gates of Splendor and Shadow of the Almighty: The Life and Testament of Jim Elliot. You and your family can also watch a 34-minute animated Torchlighters video entitled “The Jim Elliot Story”. It's free and available for everybody. In Matthew 16:25, Jesus said, “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Thursday, January 9th, in the year of our Lord 2025. Voters in a number of conservative states have enshrined a right to abortion in their state constitutions. How could this happen? A recent piece in Reason magazine makes a compelling case that the overturning of Roe v. Wade was an inflection point in which pro-lifers suddenly and decisively turned against their pro-life convictions. Is that true? It's complicated. On this episode of The 40 Days for Life Podcast, we take a close look at the pro-lifers who aren't actually pro-life.

It's Tuesday, October 1st, A.D. 2024. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson South African homeschoolers face jail if kids not in school Last week, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa signed the controversial Basic Education Law Amendments Bill into law in an effort to federalize and centralize control over the nation's education program. The law would levy a year-long prison sentence for truancy, ban all corporal punishment, and require parents to apply to the National Department of Education for permission to homeschool their children or face charges. Christian View Network has been warning for years that the bill is a radical threat to parental rights. Estimates put the number of homeschooled children in South Africa as high as 300,000, reports the South African Broadcast Corporation. An organization dedicated to protecting parental rights in South Africa, The Pestalozzi Trust, has informed the president they will be appealing the Act to the nation's high court. The Trust argues that “the Act imposes excessive regulatory burdens on parents who opt for homeschooling.” Austrian Freedom Party gaining ground The Left is facing a backlash in Europe. The right-leaning, Freedom Party of Austria gained more votes than any other party in the elections held over the weekend — now holding 29% of the seats in parliament. However, the Socialist Party, the left-leaning People's Party, the Greens, and the Communists together hold 67% of the seats. Germany and France witness political gains on the right Last month, the German election yielded more gains for the right-leaning Alternative for Germany Party than any other election since World War II. And, in July, the French elections expanded the rightist party by 50% at the expense of the center. Hurricane Helene's death toll climbs to 116 Hurricane Helene has come and gone, and left a mass of destruction in its path. Ryan Cole, a North Carolina county emergency official, told The Independent Mail, “We have biblical devastation through the county. This is the most significant natural disaster that any one of us has ever seen.” The death count has topped 116 thus far. There are still 600 people missing in North Carolina. Officials count 46 fatalities in North Carolina, 27 deaths in South Carolina, 25 deaths in Georgia, and 13 in Florida. This makes for the second most deadly hurricane in the last 12 years. Could Amish save Western Civilization from Kamala? Could the Amish save Western civilization from Kamala Harris and the socialists? That's what Scott Pressler from Early Vote Action thinks. Scott pointed out on X social media platform that “there are 90,000 Amish voters in Pennsylvania, and the last presidential election was decide by 80,000 votes.” 2 pro-lifers get long prison sentences for peaceful civil disobedience A federal judge sentenced three more pro-lifers for participating in a protest at an abortion clinic in Tennessee on March 5, 2021, reports World Magazine. Chester Gallagher, the leader of the pro-life rescue, received a harsh sentence of 16 months. Heather Idoni was sent to prison for 8 months. And another pro-lifer received a 3-month probation sentence. Four others -- Paul Vaughan, Calvin Zastrow, Coleman Boyd, and Dennis Green -- had already received sentences back in July. Attorney Steve Crampton with The Thomas More Society argued that the protest was “a peaceful demonstration by entirely peaceable citizens—filled with prayer, hymn-singing, and worship—oriented toward persuading expectant mothers not to abort their babies.” Calgary Pastor vs. Drag Queens Today, as I guest host for Kevin Swanson on Generations Radio, I interview a gutsy Canadian pastor named Derek Reimer in Calgary, Alberta. He dared to speak the truth at a Drag Queen Story Hour event at the library. Listen. McMANUS: “When you heard about these drag queen events where men dress up as women, really caricatures of women, with ridiculously heavy makeup, big wigs, crazy attire, long false eyelashes, and five-inch tall heels, what was your reaction when you heard that it was coming to your town, to your library?” REIMER: “That this was disgusting. It was vile. It was appalling, repugnant. I don't even have enough adjectives to describe it. “So, it's like this righteous indignation that rises up in protection of these little ones. Because when I went to drag events, there was a sign up, ‘Reading with Royalty,' ages zero to eight years old. That's disgusting, how they want to indoctrinate, sexualize and corrupt these little children.” Not only was Pastor Reimer arrested that time, but two additional times and spent 43 days in jail for simply objecting to drag queens in the library. To hear my whole 39-minute conversation, go to Generations.org/radio. That's Generations.org/radio. Will Arizona imprison grandmother who feeds the homeless? And finally, Bullhead City, Arizona is looking at putting a grandmother in jail. A U.S. district court ruled that Norma Thornton is guilty of providing food to the poor in a city park. She was arrested in July 2022, and faces a fine of up to $1,431, 120 days in jail, and 24 months of probation. The city ordinance forbids any “food-sharing event” at a public park. For now, Norma continues to use up about half her income to feed 30 people a day in an alley behind a jet ski shop that has no shade, no tables, or no restrooms, reports WorldNetDaily.com. In Mark 8:6-9, “Jesus commanded the people to sit down on the ground, and He took the seven loaves and gave thanks and broke it, and gave to His disciples to set before the people, so they did eat, and were filled. And they that had eaten were about four thousand.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Tuesday, October 1st, in the year of our Lord 2024.
