Nepal Furniture and Furnishings Association (NFFA) is Nepal's only trade association devoted exclusively to the needs and interests of furnishings and furniture manufacturers, importers, wholesalers, distributors, and retailers. Dinesh Agarwal is the president of NFFA, Nikunj Agarwal is the Executive Committee Member of NFFA, and Anil Maheshwari is the title sponsor of King Koil Mattress for a project of NFFA called Furnex Nepal 2023.

This week we hit the midpoint in our PURGE journey, we look back at Election Year, a film that tries to warn about the dangers the marriage of evangelical Christianity, right wing ideology, and white supremacy represent under the guise of a giant, dumb action movie where a lot of people get shot and a lot of shit blows up real good. Mike, Ari and Nichole try to walk that fine line here and let me tell you, this might be the only podcast that presents evidence on just how poorly Frank Grillo's bodyguard character would do in say, the movie The Bodyguard. Nichole tells us why DC interns might make her purge short list. We debate the politics of the NFFA and whether Senator Roan is naïve in thinking she could change hearts and minds of her opponents.

#ThePurge The films present a near-future dystopian America which celebrates an annual national holiday known as the Purge, in which all crimes, including murder, are legal for a 12-hour period. #Purge is an American media franchise centered on a series of dystopian action horror films distributed by Universal Pictures and produced by Blumhouse Productions and Platinum Dunes, mainly created by James DeMonaco. In 2014, following an economic collapse and rising social unrest, a political organization named The New Founding Fathers of America (NFFA) is formed and is voted into office. The organization establishes a new totalitarian government and a police state. In 2016, the NFFA devises a plan to help stabilize American society and later in 2017, the 28th Amendment to the U.S Constitution is ratified. weki This amendment establishes a 12-hour event known as "The Purge" which would take place from 7 PM on March 21 to 7 AM on March 22 wherein all crime becomes legal. Before the Purge begins, the Emergency Broadcast System is activated with rules and a prayer saying "Blessed be our New Founding Fathers and America, a nation reborn" before ending with "May God be with you all". The rules for the annual Purge are as follows: Sirens blare throughout the land to signal the start and end of The Purge. All police, fire, and medical emergency services remain unavailable or suspended for the full 12-hour Purge. Government officials of ranking 10+ are granted immunity (revoked in Election Year to legalize the murder of a political opponent). "Classes 1-4" weaponry are permitted Below is how the Emergency Broadcast System announces the Purge' commencement in the first two films: This is not a test. This is your emergency broadcast system announcing the commencement of the Annual Purge sanctioned by the U.S. Government. Weapons of class 4 and lower have been authorized for use during the Purge. The third installment of THE PURGE franchise is out just in time to totally creep out your 4th of July! THE PURGE: ELECTION YEAR stars Frank Grillo as the head of security for a US Senator running for President with an anti-purge platform. Her unpopular stances have made her a target for The Purge founders, The New Founding Fathers, (NFFA) and Grillo must get her through the night safely. Along their travels they meet up with a renegade gang of [also] anti purgers, and wrong place/wrong time good samaritans who come to their aid. The film is written and directed by James DeMonaco who wrote and directed the first two and co-stars Elizabeth Mitchell (LOST), Mykelti Williamson (FOREST GUMP) and Kyle Secor (HOMICIDE). We gave it Justice, mostly for Grillo's hardworking action-star ways (give him more lead roles please!) and the overall entertainment value. Not as terrifying as the second and with some added cheese and bad lines, but it still delivers on fun summer action. 6.5/10 on the Justice & Doom Meter
