This week on the Tapped In: Indy Wrestling Podcast, Nick is joined by Rosario Grillo and Jacked Jameson for a loaded episode. From holiday-themed chaos to massive crowds, surprise returns, title changes, and long-term story shifts, the guys break down what mattered most — and what it means heading into 2026.
It's Eddie's birthday, and he's celebrating with "The Fat-Ass Birthday Bash"! Tune in for the chaos as Eddie navigates tech malfunctions, enjoys some... interesting birthday cards, and gets the lowdown on the real-world cost of the "12 Days of Christmas" in our "Holiday Hilo" game. The phone lines light up with a surprise call from former Howard Stern intern, Steve Grillo, who joins to discuss an unearthed YouTube video and a very awkward three-way situation involving the late Ralphie. We also dive into celebrity encounters, talk about Grillo's new book, Gorilla Parts, and even get a call from Nova Scotia's own weather wizard, Frankie McDonald, who delivers an international birthday greeting! Plus, we break down the latest WTF News, including a meth deposit mishap at a bank, the massive Powerball jackpot, and Eddie's rant about the Golden Globes podcast nominations snubbing Joe Rogan. Stick around for the Football Perfect Picks, and hear about the "Presidential Pussy" gift Eddie received!
Brand collaborations are exploding, and they're becoming one of the most effective growth levers in CPG. In this episode, the team breaks down why co-branded products are becoming a core strategy for food and beverage brands, what separates meaningful partnerships from gimmicks, and how leaders like Grillo's, Fly By Jing, Graza, and Liquid Death are using them to drive awareness, trial, and category expansion. Show notes: 0:25: Playoff Beards. Popping In. A Secret Guest. Smokes To Snacks. Collab Work. Healthy, Hot & High. – The episode opens with playful banter about facial hair before previewing upcoming BevNET Live, Nosh Live, and Brewbound Live in L.A. next month. Ray highlights the return of Poppi co-founders Allison and Stephen Ellsworth to the BevNET Live stage to discuss building the modern soda category and notes Allison's recent appearance as a guest shark on "Shark Tank," including her investment in Freestyle Snacks. The hosts also spotlight upcoming programming such as CVS Health's Lauren Castro at NOSH Live, a still-secret Nosh Live guest and also urge founders to nab remaining Elevator Talk, and One-to-One meeting slots. They pivot to brand collaborations, citing Grillo's Pickles' new Zippo tie-in and its growing list of partners, as well as prolific collaborators like Mike's Hot Honey and Graza. The hosts offer advice on considerations for partnerships and co-branded products and what makes for a successful collaboration. John praises Lentiful's Thanksgiving Feast instant lentil cup, Mike is hot about Blobs' new spicy mango-guava flavor and everyone has their say about Rind's recently released raspberry-almond granola squares. Jacqui introduces a "drink your skincare" energy beverage and Mike samples a THC-infused "Soda Pot." Ray reminds listeners that Thanksgiving week gets chaotic, so those planning to attend December's BevNET Live, NOSH Live, or Brewbound Live should finalize registration soon to avoid missing out – and the inevitable post-event FOMO.

On this week's Modern Retail Podcast, senior reporters Melissa Daniels and Gabriela Barkho discuss the acquisition of sanitizer brand Touchland. The startup was bought by Church & Dwight, the personal care group that owns Nair and Arm & Hammer, in an $880 million deal. The staff also discusses the rise and fall of Target in the past couple of years, with the retailer marred by pullback in consumer spending and boycotts. In this episode, Daniels and Barkho also welcome Michelle Gabe (18:40), the director of marketing and partnerships at IFG, the parent company of King's Hawaiian, Grillo's Pickles, and Killer Brownie. Gabe joins the show to discuss what goes into brands' collaborations with entertainment franchises and other pop culture moments, especially in film and television. The trend was kicked into high gear during 2023's summer of “Barbie,” when brands of all sizes went pink. Last year, a similar wave was brought on by the “Wicked” movie. Even prestige TV series are getting in on product tie-ins through brand collaborations, as this past season of “White Lotus” showed. During her previous role at truffle sauce startup Truff, Gabe helped bring these types of partnerships to life, such as a collectibles collaboration with the “Super Mario Bros. Movie,” which garnered a waitlist of 20,000. Here is what she had to say about the best way to approach major IP tie-ins.

The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (03/26/2025): 3:05pm- According to reports, The Atlantic's editor in chief Jeffrey Goldberg was inadvertently added to a Signal group chat with Trump Administration officials discussing planned military strikes against Houthi fighters in Yemen. Spokesman for the White House National Security Council Brian Hughes said the messages Goldberg received appear to be “authentic.” In Goldberg's report, he noted that National Security Advisor Michael Waltz was responsible for the mistake and that he may have also violated a federal records law—as Waltz set some of the messages exchanged on Signal to auto-delete after one week. While speaking with the press from the White House on Tuesday, President Donald Trump defended Waltz and suggested he doubts his cabinet officials will rely on Signal for group discussions moving forward. 3:10pm- During Wednesday's Senate Intelligence Committee hearing, Congressman Jimmy Gomez (D-CA) outlandishly asked if Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was drunk when he decided to use Signal to communicate with other Trump Administration officials. In response, CIA Director John Ratcliffe adroitly noted that the attack against Houthi terrorists was wildly successful, and Rep. Gomez's claims are baseless. 3:20pm- While appearing on CNBC, Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) attacked the Trump Administration for using Signal to communicate with one another prior to an attack on Houthi terrorists. Host Joe Kernen pointed out that Sen. Warner didn't seem to be nearly as outraged over the Biden Administration's disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. 3:30pm- Steve Grillo—former Howard Stern Show intern—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his brand-new book, “Gorilla Parts.” What was the driving force behind Howard Stern's political U-turn? Rich notes that in 2024, no one in the Biden Administration was fired when Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin disappeared for weeks as the result of a medical procedure. CNN reported that President Joe Biden wasn't aware for days about Austin's hospitalization. Meanwhile, Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks was on vacation in Puerto Rico—responsibilities transferred to her when Austin was hospitalized. 4:15pm- While speaking with Newsmax, President Donald Trump called The Atlantic's editor in chief Jeffrey Goldberg a “loser.” 4:40pm- On Wednesday, NPR and PBS executives testified before the DOGE subcommittee on overtly political content being funded by taxpayers. During one exchange with Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), President and CEO of National Public Radio Katherine Maher conceded that they made a mistake by not covering the Hunter Biden laptop story prior to the 2020 presidential election. 4:50pm- According to the Los Angeles Times, Ben Affleck has “lost interest” in playing Batman. Rich rejoices. 5:05pm- Hate Crime Hoax: The Allentown Police Department has arrested LaTarsha Brown—an Allentown City employee. Investigators allege that she placed a noose on her own desk then reported the incident—which led to FBI and Pennsylvania State Police involvement. Investigators were able to use video surveillance and forensic DNA to conclude that Brown was responsible. 5:30pm- From the Oval Office, President Donald Trump signed an executive order placing a 25% tariff on imported cars. The tariffs will go into effect on April 2nd. According to The New York Times, 1 million—of the 2.3 million—Toyotas sold in the United States last year were manuf ...

Today, I’m unloading on life’s little annoyances—notifications that won’t quit, measles making a comeback (what year is this?), and servers who mess up my dinner order.
