Shawn Needham, R.Ph., talks with Dr. Renata Moon about the new book she is writing. Dr. Moon is an exceptionally well-trained pediatrician with over 25 years of clinical experience. She trained at a top U.S. medical school, earning board certification in both general pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine. With an unblemished career record of patient care, Dr. Moon practiced in the State of Washington for over 17 years primarily as a pediatric hospitalist at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital in Spokane. Despite caring for the region's sickest children – patient care with one of the highest risks of malpractice claims – she has had no malpractice claims or actions against her license in Washington State or elsewhere. Dr. Moon testified at a public hearing entitled “Covid-19 Vaccines: What They Are, How They Work, and Possible Causes of Injuries” held by a US Senator in Washington DC in December 2022. In July 2023, Washington State's Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine reported Dr. Moon's public testimony to The Washington Medical Commission. The Washington Medical Commission is now investigating Dr. Moon's medical license for alleged “unprofessional conduct” for voicing concern about the dangers of the Covid-19 shots at this senate hearing. The current investigation by the Washington Medical Commission is frivolous, based on unsound policy and persecutes a physician simply for speaking. This investigation is an attempt by the Washington Medical Commission to regulate Dr. Moon's rights of petition, assembly, and speech, and to chill these first amendment rights and those of other medical professionals. A medical professional is not required to agree with any government agency, including the Washington Medical Commission. A medical professional has the obligation to put the well-being of his or her patients before any government-imposed orthodoxy or narrative. A medical professional has the right to gather with other medical professionals and petition the government regarding issues of public interest. In addition, medical ethics dictates that a medical professional has the obligation to speak out when there is a concern that a medical product, which is being used widely and indiscriminately, poses potential risks or where questions arise about its safety. Such debate provides a healthy check and balance on the practice of medicine and promote the primary responsibility to first do no harm. Jean Carroll, the woman who said that Donald Trump sexually assaulted her 30 years ago, despite numerous media reports to the contrary.  Correspondent Haya Panjwani reports the Department of Justice appears to be probing a non-profit group they claim helped pay for some of Carroll's legal bills, while Carroll's representation is calling this a weaponized legal assault against someone who won a court case against President Trump.  T Dallas Apartment Explosion A recovery operation is underway in Dallas after an apartment building exploded following reports of a gas leak.  Correspondent Clayton Neville reports from Dallas that it's unclear how many people may have died in the blast.   The Trump $250 Some controversy in Washington over the potential for new U.S. currency with President Trump's face on it.  The details from correspondent Ed Donahue.   Judge OK's Trump Voter Order A federal judge is refusing to block an executive order from President Trump that would create a federal voter list and limit some mail-in voting.  Correspondent Donna Warder reports.   Latest On US-Iran Agreement The United States and Iran have reached a tentative agreement to end their months-long war in the Middle East, but there are questions as to what will happen next in what appears to be a multi-step process.  Correspondent Ed Donahue reports that even if officials on both sides agree, it will still be up to President Trump to give the go-ahead.   Latest On California Primary Texas was the big primary this week, and next week California will be front-and-center with important races from the governor to the mayor of Los Angeles.  Correspondent Clayton Neville reports while one candidate is seemingly pulling away in the polls in the California Governor's race, the battle for mayor in L-A appears close.   Focus On NJ ICE Detention Center National attention has turned to a detention center called Delaney Hall in Newark, New Jersey, an ICE facility where agitators have staged protests outside leading to 6 arrests so far, and one US Senator getting pepper sprayed this week.  Correspondent Joan Jones has details.   Blue Origin Rocket Explodes A Blue Origin Glenn rocket exploded Thursday night on a launch pad at Cape Canaveral in Florida.  Alleged Hawaii Murderer Apprehended It was a frantic couple of days in Hawaii after word spread of three murders of elderly men in two days.    Finally   There is a significant shakeup coming to 60 Minutes.  Correspondent Jenifer King reports that CBS is making big changes to the long-running news program, both on the air and behind the scenes. Fritts is running against a US Senator and US Representative in the Republican Primary but said he expects to win. Fritts says, "My path to victory is my message is very different. I'll talk to anybody about the issues. We are a liberty and less government platform. That's a foreign concept to most of our congressional members. Most of them have embraced an every-growing budget for almost $40 trillion in debt federally. It's a government that over reaches its bounds constitutionally."
