On this episode of the Blackhawks Breakaway Podcast, Pat Boyle and Charlie Roumeliotis break down the Blackhawks' decision to trade the rights to prospect Jack Pridham to the Tampa Bay Lightning for a 2027 third-round pick, explaining how the situation unfolded and why the team ultimately made the move. They also discuss whether the Blackhawks should consider trading the No. 4 overall pick for an impact player and what it would take for them to move it. Plus, mock drafts continue to have Ivar Stenberg falling to Chicago at No. 4. Is the fit becoming increasingly realistic or does it feel too good to be true? Pat and Charlie also address the NHL's recent memo reminding teams about tampering following reports that the Blackhawks made Ilya Mikheyev's rights available for trade. They explain what happened, why it drew attention, and why it's ultimately not a big deal. Later, three-time Stanley Cup champion and CHSN Blackhawks analyst Alec Martinez joins the show to preview the Stanley Cup Final between the Carolina Hurricanes and Vegas Golden Knights. He shares his perspective on the matchup, breaks down the key storylines, weighs in on who has the edge and who wins the series.

A familiar face with deep ties to the Tampa Bay Lightning is now just wins away from championship glory — and for Bolts fans, it's hard not to feel a little pain watching it happen somewhere else. On this episode of The Drive with TKras, TKras breaks down which former Lightning figure is making a major postseason run, why they're thriving away from Tampa Bay, and why it stings so much for Lightning fans watching from home. Was this someone the Lightning should have kept? Did the organization move on too soon? And what does this playoff success say about where the Bolts are right now compared to the rest of the NHL? TKras dives into the emotions, the “what ifs,” and why this storyline is hitting Lightning fans harder than expected.
The Tampa Bay Lightning havehad 4 consecutive 1st round playoff exits and Sam Cohen has had enough. He is breaking down potential off-season moves and what the future holds for the Bolts in hopes of securing another Lord Stanley!
The Tampa Bay Lightning have been synonymous with success for the past decade. However, since losing the Final in 2022 in their quest for a three-peat, the team has bowed out of the playoffs in the opening round in each of the past four springs.Though the team will, no doubt, remain competitive in 2026-27, it's also one of the older teams in the NHL so there's work ahead for GM Julien BriseBois to re-tool his club on the fly to keep his Bolts among the NHL's elite.X: https://twitter.com/NHLWraparoundNeil Smith: https://twitter.com/NYCNeilVic Morren: https://www.linkedin.com/in/vic-morren-7038737/NHL Wraparound Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/nhlwraparound/#NHLWraparound #NHLWraparound.com #ShortShifts #NYCentric #CelebritySeries #HallofFameEdition #StanleyCupdate #SummerCoolers #Smith'sPix #NeilSmith #VicMorren #NHL #SpringCleaning #TampaBayLightning #MontrealCanadiens #SeattleKraken #BostonBruins #ColoradoAvalanche #JonCooper #VictorHedman #NikitaKucherov #JakeGuentzel #BrandonHagel #DarrenRaddysh #BraydenPoint #RyanMcDonagh #EmilLilleberg #ErikCernak #DominicJames #CoreyPerry #NickPaul #AndreiVasilevskiy #JakubDobes #AlexNewhook #JulienBriseBois #OliverBjorkstrand #MitchellChaffee #ScottSabourin #DeclanCarlile #AnthonyCirelli #J.J.Moser

If you have not been following hilarious drama surrounding The Onion's attempt to purchase InfoWars then you're missing out. Look, it's even being reported on the BBC. Something that I did not actually know about InfoWars is that Alex Jones thinks of himself as a kind of prophet. Well, at least Tucker Carlson thinks so. “He's channeling something, I've asked him about it. ‘How did you do that?' At length, during dinner on my barn recently. We're talking about this. ‘How'd you do that?' ‘I don’t know. It just came to me.' And that's real. That is real. The supernatural is real and I don't know why it's hard for for the modern mind, I guess because it's a materialist mind to accept that.” “That's not a new phenomenon. It's happened throughout history. There are people called prophets, and there are people who were prophets who weren't called prophets, but there are people who have information or parts of information, bits of information, visions of information come to them and then they relay it.” We're in the wrong business, kids. Anyways, we talk a little about some upcoming horror flicks, namely Zach Cregger's Resident Evil and Mike Flanagan's Clayface, both of which have trailers that are out now. We kick things off by talking about the unlikely Game 7 victory of the Montreal Canadiens over the Tampa Bay Lightning but I promise you we get good and nerdy after that's out of the way. On this week's Garbage Time we talk about how and why Eurotrip practically killed an entire film genre (and here's the link the video that I reference), Jon watched Crank: High Voltage which leads to a deep dive into Jason Statham's career and we wrap things up with, you guessed it, more hockey talk because the Habs are still in the playoffs and 66% of us love ourselves some hockey! If you would like to show your support and head over to Patreon and subscribe at the 9ES Deluxe tier to listen to this and all past episodes of Garbage Time that would be appreciated. The Philadelphia Flyers closed out the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 6 OT, capping a surprisingly solid “bridge year” for Pittsburgh’s aging core, with Evgeni Malkin expressing interest in returning at 40 and Sidney Crosby and Kris Letang also expected back. Philly, meanwhile, nearly let a 3–0 series slip but got a great performance from goalie Dan Vladar leading to Cam York’s eventual winner, though a tough matchup with the Carolina Hurricanes awaits. The Montreal Canadiens moved within one win of eliminating the Tampa Bay Lightning thanks to Alex Texier’s Game 5 winner and stellar goaltending from Jakub Dobes, while Brendan Gallagher made an immediate impact in his playoff debut, setting up a raucous Game 6 at the Bell Centre. Out West, Brett Howden scored a shorthanded double-OT winner to give the Vegas Golden Knights a 3–2 edge over Utah in a series where goaltending has been uncertain at best, and at times, chaotic. The Edmonton Oilers face elimination on the road against the Anaheim Ducks in Game 6, needing early pressure on Dostal, but also the consistency they’ve lacked all season. The Minnesota Wild have an opportunity at home to eliminate the Dallas Stars behind Jesper Wallstedt and their heavy-minute defenders, who are proving to be a difficult matchup.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
