Faith Under Trials- It empties the soul of self. This is the proper work of faith, -- to discover the utter emptiness, insufficiency, nothingness that is in man unto any spiritual end or purpose whatever. So Eph. ii. 8, 9. Faith itself is of God, not of ourselves- and it teaches us to be all by grace, and not by any work of ours. If we will be any thing in ourselves, faith tells us then it is nothing to us- for it only fills them that are empty, and makes them all by grace who are nothing by self.

His crimes took place in the Atteridgeville and Cleveland suburbs of Johannesburg, along with other Providences, but he terrorized these communities through rape and murder of multiple women. It's okay, to be not okay. Thoughts on weakness in the body and when it has nothing to do with your spiritual condition. Commentary on sickness and how it has been a larger blessing to many of God's most blessed saints than even health has Realizing my men's Bible study tonight was done in my own strength and realizing how I can't do anything apart from the Spirit's enabling God shows me a 701 (Proverbs 7:1) right in the moment during the Bible study where I was struggling to remember where certain verses where Dream about flimsy tri-pod at the beach that I could not get to stand up no matter how hard I tried. Then realizing I had been trusting in myself during the Bible study, not in the Spirit of Christ. Realizing a growing temptation to pride and self exaltation in the fruit which God is producing in my ministry and life. The lesson of realizing I don't have to try to hard to convince others Revelations on enduring the shame of our cross Perseverance goes 100% of the way, not 99% of the way Defining what it means to carry your cross The two stages of suffering and death to self If we quit on our cross, it was all for naught Tempted to email Laura but God shows me 1 Pet 5:12 to stay put Fearing not being able to see my children for Christmas, I ask the Lord for mercy and for a vacation from the cross and I sense He tells me there are no vacations from the cross Very sad about the high possibility I will not be able to see my children for Christmas and yet telling the Lord I will carry my cross as far as He wants My mom tries to put pressure on me to get ahead of God's commands to me and get my license and go get the children. Realizing the terrible suffering coming if I cannot go pick up the children Realizing how quickly we forget God's past Providences and answered prayers to us and we start wavering in our faith after only a few days Satan's blows lead to spiritual amnesia and we forget what God has promised and done The most frequent number and Scripture God has shown me is 616, Eph 6:16 take up the shield of faith We must hold firmly to our faith! The awareness that all these recordings are to one day be a highway for other people to follow Christ on Only the Holy Spirit can teach another man anything
