One of wrestling's most controversial wrestlers in recent memory is none of than Chris Masters, and RF VIDEO was lucky enough to sit down with Masters to discuss his recent firing along with many other subjects in our latest exclusive shoot interview! Chris walked us through his daily schedule in Ohio Valley Wrestling and compared what it was like working for Bill DeMott and Lance Storm. You'll be able to hear a whole bunch of OVW stories as Masters talked his relationship with...Paul Heyman as well as all the guys that were there during his stay including Brent Albright and Carlito. Getting the fast push to the main stage, Masters told us what he felt working his first dark match with Bob Holly and how Triple H and Shawn Michaels immediately took him under their wing. We got the entire scoop on the creation of the Masterpiece gimmick and what type of pressure Chris was under to maintain his look. Masters described his friendship outside the ring with Carlito and Randy Orton along with giving one story after another about their time on the road together. This is the only place where you'll find out what kind of trouble Masters got into with Orton, including a hilarious story in which Masters and Orton did not see a cop chasing them for two miles and finally pulled over to find guns drawn on them. What was it like being pushed so hard so fast and working with all the top talent including Triple H, HBK, and the Undertaker? Who did Masters have heat with in the locker room? Which match does Masters, to this day, constantly relive in his mind? And why? This is the one interview in which you'll get the inside dope, straight from the source!

On this week's show, we're joined by wrestling announcer, commentator, radio show host, and writer, Eric Gargiulo. Gargiulo is best known for his time as ring announcer for ECW and announcer and commentator for Combat Zone Wrestling. He's also the host of the longest running wrestling radio show - Pro Wrestling Radio - ever on terrestrial radio. The show ran from 1999 until 2009. Long before podcasts, Gargiulo was able to sit down with some of the biggest names in professional wrestling including Steve Austin, Ricky Steamboat, Bret Hart, Edge, Dusty Rhodes, Bruno Sammartino, Chris Jericho, and "Superstar" Billy Graham. Gargiulo helped innovate the professional wrestling shoot interview concept and began hosting shoot interviews for RF Video and wrote and edited the questions for the WWE Pop Trivia Quiz Deck in 2019. In this episode, Gargiulo discusses his early training to wrestle, being a tape trader and working ECW shows, launching his radio show and befriending Bruno Sammartino, getting thrown into the ring at a show because no one else was around to handle the job, following around Paul Heyman during ECW shows and some of the conversations he overheard, and asking Howard Finkel to announce the bridal party at his wedding. Ladies and gentlemen, entering the podcast from Queens, New York, this is Eric Gargiulo. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/not-about-wrestling/support

It's a guestless show, as I cover the news of the day: The Royal Rumble and it's fallout. I also go over other news and events from the weekend, including results from the Monster Factory, reports from Ring Of Honor, reports from Ringside With Jim Ross, and more. I talk about my own experiences at the Chris Jericho autograph signing, and in the second row at the "Great Debate" between Eric Bischoff and Bruce Prichard, moderated by Jericho, and put on by RF Video at Dave & Busters. Then, it is time to review the Royal Rumble, my perspective from section 109, the crowd's reaction to The New Day, Cesaro, Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, John Cena, Mizdow, Bubba Ray Dudley, Paul Heyman, and of course Roman Reigns. How was the live experience? Is this all Philadelphia's fault? Should the WWE have called an audible? How happy was the crowd to see The Rock, and how quickly did that response deflate? Can anything be done to save Roman Reigns? And how do the unhappy fans send WWE the only message that they will understand?

Ep 26 is a fun convo with RF Video owner/operator and Ring of Honor creator, Rob Feinstein! Rob has a big event coming up on Royal Rumble Sunday at Dave & Buster's in Philadelphia, as he is promoting the first ever debate between former WWE creative team member Bruce "Brother Love" Prichard and former WCW President Eric Bischoff! Not only will this debate cover all the controversial issues from the Monday Night Wars, but the views will come straight from the minds of two of the top executives in pro wrestling from that time period! Stepping in as special guest moderator will be none other than former WWE/World Champion and future Hall Of Famer, Chris Jericho! It is certainly a unique event, and i will be there, as should you! Go to RFVideo.com for ticket information.RF has also be in and around the business since the mid 80s. He's been a fan, a promoter, a booker, and businessman, promoting the RF Video brand for around two decades now. We discuss his early fandom and memories, becoming a tape trader, how he began working for ECW, some TWA and Tod Gordon stories, being schooled by Paul Heyman, his friendships with Raven and Tommy Dreamer, ECW on TNN, Taz vs. Mike Awesome, and ECW's closure. From there we talk about the beginning of the Ring of Honor concept, his favorite memories of that initial ROH era, his thoughts on guys like CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, and we hear some stories never before told about the "Philly Indie Wars" during a time when ROH, CZW, 3PW, and XPW were all in competition. RF also gives thoughts on today's wrestling scene, including why TNA has difficulty drawing, the recent upswing in Indy wrestling attendance, Tommy Dreamer's triumphant House Of Hardcore show at the 2300 Arena, and his thoughts on what WWE should do at the Royal Rumble. As a bonus we cover some Iron Shiek stories, including recording his infamous shoots, and the trips to the Howard Stern Show!Overall it's a great listen, as Rob has been around and been schooled by the best of the best. Please check out RFVideo.com for info on the Prichard vs Bischoff debate (W/ Chris Jericho) and for the extensive DVD catalog, including original ECW shows and a plethora of Shoot Interviews and other unique content.

Running Time: 2 Hours 14 Minutes Hey everyone, Don Tony here. As promised, I have started the process of bringing back online retro wrestling hotline and podcast episodes going back as early as 2002! I wish I had my archives of wrestling hotline episodes from 1997-2001. Unfortunately at that time, no one was podcasting. The technology wasn't developed yet. And I didn't come up with the idea of posting my audio hotline episodes online until 2002. However, the good news is that there are close to 1000 episodes of archived content from 2002 thru 2019 that will be made available online soon! This retro episode of 'The Minority Report' hosted by Don Tony, Joey 9:24, Kevin Castle and Smoked Out goes back to July 9, 2007. Please keep in mind that these older episodes were recorded at a time when everyone did their podcasting thru telephones. So the audio quality is primitive. I did the best I could to boost the quality a bit. I think the audio quality of the current shows has significantly increased since we recorded this episode in July 2007. Topics Discussed: Coming Soon: Hulk Hogan Ringtones! 'Pick up the phone brother!' Showing love to newcomer Cody Rhodes. He has the tools to become a big star in wrestling. If you were married and learned your spouse bought life insurance and put their ex as the beneficiary, you wouldn't throw him/her out of the house? Kevin Sullivan: Please hire an attorney and start threatening lawsuits to these idiots that accuse you of killing the Benoit Family.. Kudos to Rob Van Dam for turning down an RF Video Shoot Interview. Even though we love RF Video's shoots, RVD did the right thing. Manny Arora and WWE's Jerry McDevitt (or should we say McDipsh**) caught in a bunch of lies. Anyone notice the Sandman splashing beer all over 8 year old girls in the crowd during his Raw entrance? Stop the stupid rumors. Chris Jericho will likely return to WWE We show respect to a listener who has a 15 year old child stricken with Fragile X. But we do explain why there are certain people that use shady tactics to raise money for foundations. How complacent was Larry King talking to Bret Hart, Chris Jericho, John Cena, and others? Everyone keeps asking what we led to the Benoit murder/suicide. John Cena on Larry King: 'As long as you can entertain and draw money, you have a spot and don't need steroids'. Then why do so many take steroids? And why did Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Benoit all win Heavyweight Gold only after their bodies morphed into freaks of nature? One Night Stand: Candice Michelle or Rosie Perez? How we think the storyline will go down with Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe, after they win the Tag Titles from Team 3-D. There's nothing like a bitter wrestler on a news show right now in the heat of the Benoit tragedies. Showing love to Dusty Rhodes, Nestle Quik, Christy Canyon, Brooke Hogan's breast implants.. Talking Transformers the movie. Since WCW brought us Robocop in the ring, will TNA bring debut 'The Transformer'? Taking a look back at the movie New Jack City.
