The guys talk beauty pageants in Texas, post-Epstein paranoia, bombing Iran distractions, and why Fitz just stares at dads now. Then it's straight into bourbon talk, Pappy Van Winkle airport purchases, Peaky Blinders whiskey cravings, and the realities of being a “functioning” alcoholic. Subscribe to Greg Fitzsimmons: https://bit.ly/subGregFitz Iran is the new Iraq, ICE is sneaking into girl's dorms and Hilary (once again) swears Bill is not a perv. Greg and Mike are back with a road-warrior edition of Sunday Papers, broadcasting from a ski house in Wilson, Wyoming, complete with barking dogs, vacuuming cleaning crews, and the looming drive to the airport . The guys recap Jackson Hole runs and Corbett's Couloir wipeouts, revisit a legendary college misunderstanding involving a buddy's new job, and then dive into the week's headlines. They break down U.S. and Israel's strikes on Iran , the Radiohead vs. ICE social media dust-up , media shakeups at CBS , and somehow detour into quicksand panic, Florida and Kentucky crime stories , aging parents behind the wheel , and a motorcycle helmet life hack for instant right-of-way . Plus: Neanderthal dating theories, Epstein jokes, family-business advice, Neil Sedaka memories , and a lightning-round “This Day in History” featuring Yellowstone, Bieber, Ron Howard, Hoover Dam, and the Lindbergh baby . It's chaotic, topical, and exactly what you want from two friends trying to make sense of the world while laughing more than they talk. “Man of a Thousand Voices” Billy West has lent his unique talents to projects such as “Ren & Stimpy,” Matt Groening's “Futurama,” “Looney Tunes” cartoons and of course, “The Howard Stern Show,” where he won over longtime listeners with his savagely funny impressions of Larry Fine, former Stern show writer Jackie Martling and late Cincinnati Reds owner Marge Schott. In this classic episode, Gilbert and Frank rang up Billy at his home in Hollywood to compare notes on some of their favorite essential topics, including Bud Abbott, Gale Gordon, Peter Lorre, Al “Grandpa” Lewis, and the racism of "Dick Tracy" cartoons. PLUS: the true story behind the voice of Dr. Zoidberg! Billy jams with The Beach Boys! Jewish Frankenstein! Angry Munchkins! And Gilbert sings the theme song from “Problem Child”! Easy For You To SayEasy For You To Say is "Stuttering" John Melendez's memoir of his childhood being bullied in school for his stutter; his years as an on-air personality with The Howard Stern Show; and his subsequent ten-year career as a writer and on-air announcer for Jay Leno's Tonight Show. It details his famously acerbic relationships with celebrities he interviewed/insulted (Raquel Welch once punched him in the face). In the book, Howard Stern emerges as a surprisingly mean, stingy, and megalomaniacal boss―and Jay Leno as a seeming sufferer from OCD.https://amzn.to/45hrKb4Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.
Today on an another encore edition of the Rarified heir Podcast, we bring you part one of our conversation with Patricia Weidenfeld, daughter of 'The Outrage Comic', Pat Cooper. Known for his explosive (but funny) temper on stage and his somewhat rogue temperament in the business, Cooper's humor revolved around his Italian heritage and calling out things that bothered him, his album cover parody, his seemingly endless Vegas showroom shows, a well-known Seinfeld episode and in later life, his time on The Howard Stern Show. We spoke to Patti about growing up with a father she loved dearly and a mother who seemed to smooth everything over when things went a little awry. We talk about Pat's years growing up in Coney Island, how he got his start in comedy, his early years making his bones on The Ed Sullivan Show, an appearance on the Tom Snyder's Tomorrow show that froze his career in limbo after he called out an show business injustice and more. We also get into their move to Las Vegas in the 1970s, numerous dates in Atlantic City, guest hosting shows like The Merv Griffin Show and other gigs that took him on the road. Life in the Cooper household seemed perfectly as it should be. Until it wasn't. Some things she heard from her parents didn't add up. It seemingly boiled over during a visit to New York City outside a Broadway Theater when her family was confronted by a person claiming to be Pat's son, hijacking their family outing. Who was that person and why hadn't Patti ever heard of or seen him before? And why here and why now? Take a listen to part one of our interview with Patricia Weidenfeld to hear what turns out to be the first out-of-nowhere moment that in many ways turned her idyllic life upside down. This is the Rarified Heir Podcast and everyone has a story. Take a listen.

Today, Red joins us to talk about his career, the state of comedy, and his latest release "The Fart That Ruined Christmas". Have a listen! We also talk about Mike disgusting Christmas gift, Scott's has a weird bathroom experience, Cinnamon Toast Crunch gets weird, Mike farts on a volleyball court, and find out what holiday Mike must create a special episode out of. Leave reviews on iTunes and Comments on Spotify! This week on the REPLAY! We replay of episodes 3 and 4 (originally recorded in one marathon session), we reflece on the raw, chaotic magic of the show's beginnings with his late co-host Chris. The intro features classic Dopey elements—voicemails from Heart Attack Doug complaining about his absence from the Tuesday Patreon teasers, listener Spotify comments praising past guests like Steve Poltz, and Dave's ongoing gratitude for five-day-a-week Dopey while teasing upcoming episodes with Hank Azaria and more Reddit roundups. The bulk of the episode replays the vintage recordings: Chris shares his infamous "Dodge the Lodge" story about brewing jailhouse pruno at strict Alina Lodge, fleeing into the woods, and waking up in a Harlem ER after overdosing on stolen GHB from a Powerade bottle (leading to a months-long fruit ban back at rehab). Dave follows with his own tales of odd jobs, including working as a fake private eye in 90s clubs and his 1999 Howard Stern Show appearance where he conned his way on air with a phony "Shuffle Entertainer of the Millennium" award—only to get called out (and kicked out) by Robin for obviously being high. The replay captures the unpolished, hilarious chemistry between Dave and Chris that defined early Dopey, ending with Dave's heartfelt appreciation for preserving Chris's voice in these archived episodes.Dave says Episode 4 includes the Howard Stern story (again)ALL THAT AND MORE! On this weeks new replay of an old old old dopey show! Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.
We start off with Howard's exciting return to SXM with his new contract, ready to kick off another three years of the Howard Stern Show! Well that excitement ends quickly. Why would anyone be excited for this? Howard isn't into it, the staff isn't into it, there's no reason for listeners to be into it. Cardiff calls in to Jim Norton's show and clowns Chad Zumock to his friend Godfrey. Robert Kelly pulled an Opie. Bill Burr brings up the Riyadh Comedy Festival and it noticeably throws him off. Bill did a show with his wife, Nia, and it's hard to tell who is worse as they bicker about their terrible relationship. Stuttering John made a new friend and he thinks that makes him a great person who deserves praise. Once again, Opie decides to go after Jim Norton out of nowhere but Ron calls him out. Megan and Annie join us for a round of “Is It Gay?” and the Opie or Burr game. We finish up with reviews, comments, and your voicemails. Although it DID take 10 years of me asking to interview him for this to happen. This October, I sat down with Howard for an exclusive one-on-one interview, where we talked the history of The Howard Stern Show, Trump, what he talks about in therapy and...I made him cry a little! For more interviews and behind-the-scenes tea, tune in to Andy Cohen Live weekdays on Radio Andy by subscribing to SiriusXM. The segment explored the unique pressures faced by children of celebrities, with a particular focus on how sons often struggle under the weight of legacy, expectations, and public scrutiny. The conversation referenced Rob Reiner’s past openness about his son’s personal challenges, including a discussion with Sam Rubin in which Reiner spoke candidly about the difficulties his son faced growing up in the spotlight. Attention then turned to reports and allegations surrounding a devastating family tragedy involving the Reiners, which sent shockwaves through Hollywood. According to accounts discussed on air, close friends—including Billy Crystal and his wife—were among those who encountered the aftermath, underscoring how deeply the event affected the entertainment community. The program revisited prior public incidents that hinted at serious family strain, including a heated argument between Rob Reiner and his son at a Conan O’Brien holiday party that centered on concerns over substance abuse. The discussion noted that Nick Reiner had reportedly undergone numerous stints in rehabilitation, highlighting the long and painful battle many families face when addiction is involved. Clips from a past appearance by Rob and his son on The Howard Stern Show were referenced, where they spoke about collaborating on the film Being Charlie, a project that mirrored real-life struggles with addiction and recovery. The irony of art reflecting life was not lost on the hosts. As details continued to emerge through media reports, correspondents shared the latest developments, including accounts of who discovered the couple and where an arrest was said to have taken place. The segment closed with listener reactions, many expressing shock, grief, and empathy, while reflecting on the broader themes of mental illness, addiction, and the tragic consequences when those struggles go unchecked. In 1997, a man named "Clay" called the Howard Stern Show and calmly confessed to murdering 12 women. He claimed his victims were sex workers. Despite the chilling detail and the hosts' belief the confession was genuine, "Clay" was never publicly identified or arrested, leaving the shocking call—which recently went viral—as an unsolved mystery of a potential serial killer who admitted his crimes on live radio. --For early, ad free episodes and monthly exclusive bonus content, join our Patreon! At the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, host Nikki Glaser delivered a sharp monologue that included pointed jokes about Sean "Diddy" Combs, who is currently facing serious legal charges. Glaser quipped that the film "Challengers" was "more sexually charged than Diddy's credit card," referencing allegations about his notorious parties. She also remarked that the after-party wouldn't be as lively without Diddy's presence, alluding to his current incarcerationIn a subsequent interview on "The Howard Stern Show," Glaser revealed additional jokes about Diddy that were ultimately cut from her monologue. One such joke suggested that the Golden Globes audience wouldn't be together again "until the Diddy trial," a line she felt might unfairly implicate attendees. Another omitted joke referenced Diddy's nightly routine in jail. Glaser explained that while she aimed to address current events humorously, she was mindful of the potential impact on her audience and chose to exclude material that could be perceived as overly accusatory or insensitive.(commercial at 8:16)to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Diddy accusers' lawyer blasts Golden Globes host Nikki Glaser for jaw-dropping rape joke | Daily Mail Online
This week we're celebrating Jocktober by reviewing multiple radio shows. We start with the biggest name in morning radio, Howard Stern. On Tuesday the king of all media had a ridiculous argument with his wife about whether or not he's “fun.” It's pretty obvious that this marriage is on the ropes based on the conversation and the specific words that are being used by Beth. Erik Nagel joins the show along with first-time guest and Howard Stern expert MLP. NYC news station 1010 WINS had a very unfortunate x-rated broadcast earlier this week. Tom Myers is back with his political podcast after taking the entire summer off and his monologue does disappoint. Morning radio staple War of the Roses had a short-lived and ill-advised animated series that iHeart quickly removed from Earth. Opie addresses the purchased views and complains about $2 superchats from “haters.” Jeffrey from the morning duo Brooke and Jeffrey sings a parody song about Cal Raleigh and there isn't a joke to be found. We help the very stable Pulper connect with Erock. Stuttering John might have a new lawsuit on his hands as Anthony Cumia claims John SA'd a woman in Vegas. Finally, we play a round of To Poke A Dabbler, get caught up on Internet News, and listen to recent voicemails. On this episode of The Adam Carolla Show, actor Dean Cain stops by the studio! Dean shares stories from his unconventional upbringing in a Malibu trailer park with hippie parents and reflects on his early career in Hollywood—remarkably similar to Adam's own path. The two dive into the decay of Los Angeles and California, questioning why residents pay the highest taxes and gas prices yet receive so little in return. Dean recounts advice from his director father to keep personal beliefs private—advice he proudly ignored—and they both critique DEI and other progressive movements, calling them deceptive and destructive. Dean discusses his commitment to preserving traditional values like family and education, and the two reflect on the media's ongoing struggle with Donald Trump. They also talk about the rumored end of The Howard Stern Show, sparking memories of Adam and Jimmy Kimmel's past appearances on it.Elisha Krauss joins Adam and Dean to break down some of the day's headlines. They react to a couple in Idaho charging guests nearly $1,000 for access to their wedding weekend—offering various ticket tiers in an effort to fund the celebration and avoid debt, ultimately donating over $130K in proceeds to charity. Then they turn to Massachusetts, where left-leaning Governor Maura Healey is shutting down the state's migrant hotel shelter program after it ran nearly a billion dollars over budget. With critics, including her potential 2026 Republican challenger Mike Kennealy, saying "I told you so," the group dissects the policy failure and larger implications for state-run social programs.FOR MORE WITH DEAN CAIN:MOVIE: Little Angels - Now streaming on Angel.comGRAPHIC: DEAN CAIN ALL-AMERICAN AVAILABLE NOW on BIG MAN COMICS.COMTWITTER: @deuces1966 INSTAGRAM: @realdeancainFOR MORE WITH ELISHA KRAUSS: INSTAGRAM: @elishakraussWEBSITE: elishakrauss.com JOURNAL: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/author/elisha-krauss/Thank you for supporting our sponsors:Get $10 Off @BRUNT with code Adam at https://www.bruntworkwear.com/Adam #BRUNTpodchime.com/AdamHomes.comoreillyauto.com/ADAMLife insurance is never cheaper than it is today.
