God's favor is a gift that can't be earned. It is the grace of God, which means it is an unmerited favor. Favor can also mean acceptance, goodwill, and preferential treatment.
But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. —Isaiah 40:31 God's glory is not just that he has power, but that he loves to use it to help those who need it. God is not too great to care, he's too great not to care.
God allows struggle and difficult times because we are sinners and we all come short of the glory of God. He knows that by allowing us to experience failure, pain, and struggle, we will grow stronger in our faith and to become closer to Him and moving away from sin. God does not cause suffering, but He can and may allow it to accomplish good.
When you want to come to God, you start with thanksgiving. Praying consistently will change your life.

Being anchored in the goodness of God isn't always going to be a rational thing. It's a stubborn, unrelenting determination not to let the hardships of life downsize the bigness of God.
When you are dealing with people, continue to focus on God and "the higher things" more than you focus on the person that hurt you and "the things that are on earth." God has the answer for how to respond to the pain. He has insight into the person who hurt you that you simply don't have.
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. - James 1:2-4 NKJV. You are made to overcome trials because God designed you that way. When tests come, remember that you are more than a conqueror. You are not stuck in the storm, you are going through it. Throw your counterpunch by speaking the Word. Remind yourself that you are more than a conqueror. Remind the storm that God lives in you!
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” -- Ephesians 3:20-21 God already has done exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Starting even with giving us the ability to ask. And to think!
Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18-19. it is vital to embrace the new things God is doing; to let go of past opportunities, and prepare for the new things ahead. When God is doing something new, it sometimes requires us to step into the unknown, which may feel uncomfortable, scary, and even unpleasant at first. We might be tempted to hold on to the life we know where everything is familiar. But we need to let go of the old, trust God and embrace what He is doing. However, once we have decided to trust God and step into something new, we need to get ready for challenges.
No matter what is happening in our world, we can live with peace and hope because our God is always in control.
We could never do enough to earn the grace our Savior freely gives.
When you are weeping in the night, it's important to remember that morning is coming, and joy is on its way. When your mourning begins to be transformed by the joy of the Lord, strength returns, and hope arises. You don't need to force joy, but you should expect it. And when it comes, welcome it. Rest in it. Heal in it. Find strength in it.
Our greatest impact on this earth comes from loving and serving others—as Jesus did.
Dreamers are near to God's heart — the Bible is full of them. Just because a few of your dreams have turned out to be nightmares doesn't mean you should stop dreaming. But remember that your dream might have to die before it lives. Sometimes the death of our little dreams makes way for the realization of God's big dream. Our good dream must die to make room for the best dream, for a God-sized dream. Once we find our security and confidence in God rather than some temporary achievement or accolade, we will be able to pursue our dreams without losing ourselves in the process.
Have you discovered a congregation to call home?
Embrace a faith in God that is big enough and honest enough to make space for trials and tragedies, not just for triumphs. We're going to face some tough things in life. None of them can break our relationship with God. Even if our worst fears come true, we can still count on God's love and presence. Reflections: But you don't have to be afraid. Faith opens your eyes to the God who surrounds you with arms of love and armies of protection.
Believers receive God's precious gifts because of His goodness, not their own.
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” 1 Peter 5:6-10 NIV God has not promised to keep us out of storms, He has, however, promised to see us through them. A storm can be trouble, difficulty, heartache, trial, or an issue that is causing you anxiety. There are spiritual, physical, emotional, relational, and mental storms. Storms prepare us, they help make us stronger and more useable for God. Storms even protect us, from getting arrogant and prideful. Be assured no storm is God-proof! Reflections: 1. The Storm May Be Bigger Than Me, But It Is NOT Bigger than GOD. 2. Make a Radical Decision to Trust God by Giving the Storm Back to Him 3. Storms Provide Opportunities for the enemy to work. 4. Storms are Great Opportunities for God to Work. 5. Praise God in the Storm.
Don't let a desire for comfort cause you to miss all God wants to do through you in the world.
Just because it looks like nothing doesn't mean God isn't up to something. Persistence is key. Are we willing to be persistent and continue to pray in a land of drought? So is there an area in your life you have given up? Are you just another touch away from victory? Stand strong knowing God is forming clouds for you! Reflections: our prayers are providing a constant and powerful breakthrough. Although you may not see huge progress today, God is forming small clouds on your behalf. These small victories will certain to bring about a big movement in the future.
In God's Word, fathers can find the wisdom they need for leading their families.
How is God leading you to share His love with others?
Life is a series of experiences that we should cherish and learn from. When something bad happens, we can either let it defeat us or we can use it to fuel our growth. The choice is ours. I want to encourage you to focus on the positive aspects of the challenges you face and use them as motivation for growth. Takeaways: Acknowledge The Opportunity For Growth, Understand Where You Are Weakest and Strongest, Face Your Fears And Grow Through Them. We don't run from our fears; we go through them. To get past our fears, we need to do three things: 1) acknowledge them, 2) let them go, and 3) replace them with something else.
Our heavenly Father is not the author of confusion, and He will provide the answers you seek.
Waiting on God might seems hard at times, but while you're in your waiting just know that God hasn't forgot about you. Not because we are trying to avoid the pain but during our pain, we still acknowledged that God was in it with us and that we trust him with the outcome.
“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” Romans 5:3-4 NIV
Takeaways: 1.God understands your pain and he is not afraid of your feelings. 2. You don't have to put on your Sunday Best and fake smile to come to the foot of the cross. Come as you are. Ashamed, depressed, broken, scared, panicked. Come as you are! 3. God loves our vulnerability. Have you been hiding your real feelings from God? 4. God can handle our requests. Asking God for a request is a great thing, even if he doesn't answer it how you expect. 5. Making your feelings and requests known to God.

Sometimes we ask ourselves, “Why Me?” instead of asking “Why Not Me?”
God has set seasons and times for everything.
Trust God and his reasons for the delays in your life.
There is a purpose in what you are going through
“And He said to them, “Where is your faith [your confidence in Me]?” They were afraid and astonished, saying to one another, “Who then is this, that He commands even the winds and the sea, and they obey Him?”” Luke 8:25 AMP
No matter what life throws at you Face them with good courage
God knows all and things occur in his perfect time, not ours.
2 Corinthians 12:9 I love that God's Grace is Sufficient!!
Life may knock you off your feet BUT don't let it ever knock you off your FAITH!
Don't let the what ifs and worries of life consume you.
