In this's weeks episode I am joined by Terry Carr. Terry Carr owned the famous Leopard Wick's Camo Jug long before his rise to fame at the end of John Wick's lead. Terry tells the story of how he found Jug and how he inevitably sold him to John. We talk about the leopards, the hunts and a few other dogs along the way that Terry has had during his tenure as a coon hunter but we kept circling back to Jug. Jug has certainly made his mark on the leopard breed and it was about time I was able to uncover some first hand knowledge on him.  Sponsors: https://conkeysoutdoors.com  Promo Code TREETALKINTIME5 https://www.stonecreekhounds.com Promo Code TREETALKINTIME5 https://fullcrymag.com https://redfernsupply.com  Merch: https://treetalkin.com/collections  Social Media: https://www.patreon.com/treetalkintime https://www.instagram.com/treetalkinmedia https://www.facebook.com/treetalkinmedia

Here I read a story to explore the concepts of time. How can we relate to higher density beings in which time flows differently. Time is an important element in consciousness. This is the science fiction classic Six Fingers Of TIme By RA Lafferty Time is money. Time heals all wounds. Given time, anything is possible. And now he had all the time in the world! He began by breaking things that morning. He broke the glass of water on his night stand. He knocked it crazily against the opposite wall and shattered it. Yet it shattered slowly. This would have surprised him if he had been fully awake, for he had only reached out sleepily for it. Nor had he wakened regularly to his alarm; he had wakened to a weird, slow, low booming, yet the clock said six, time for the alarm. And the low boom, when it came again, seemed to come from the clock. He reached out and touched it gently, but it floated off the stand at his touch and bounced around slowly on the floor. And when he picked it up again it had stopped, nor would shaking start it. He checked the electric clock in the kitchen. This also said six o'clock, but the sweep hand did not move. In his living room the radio clock said six, but the second hand seemed stationary. That was only the beginning. Worse things were to come -- much, much worse. Raphael Aloysius Lafferty was an American science fiction and fantasy writer known for his original use of language, metaphor, and narrative structure, as well as for his etymological wit. He also wrote a set of four autobiographical novels, In a Green Tree; a history book, The Fall of Rome; and a number of novels that could be more or less loosely called historical fiction. In his 2006 short story collection Fragile Things, Neil Gaiman includes a short story called "Sunbird" written in the style of Lafferty. In the introduction, he says this about Lafferty:There was a writer from Tulsa, Oklahoma (he died in 2002), who was, for a little while in the late 1960s and early 1970s, the best short story writer in the world. His name was R. A. Lafferty, and his stories were unclassifiable and odd and inimitable -- you knew you were reading a Lafferty story within a sentence. When I was young I wrote to him, and he wrote back. This novelette was originally published in If, September 1960. It was anthologized in The 6 Fingers of Time and Other Stories (1965) and The Others edited by Terry Carr (1969), and was collected in Nine Hundred Grandmothers (1970) and The Man Who Made Models (2013). Read it here https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/31663 Fractal  Video created by Maths Town:https://www.patreon.com/mathstown  Buy My Art - Unique Sigil Magic and Energy Activation Through Flow Art and Voyages Through Space and Imagination. https://www.newearth.art/ BUY MY BOOK! https://www.amazon.com/Reality-Revolution-Mind-Blowing-Movement-Hack/dp/154450618X/ Audible https://www.audible.com/pd/The-Reality-Revolution-Audiobook/B087LV1R5V The New Earth Activation trainings - 12 hours of content focused on the new earth with channeling, meditations, advanced training and access to the new earth https://realityrevolutioncon.com/newearth Alternate Universe Reality Activation - new meditations, new lectures, recordings from the reality con and the 90 day AURA meditation schedulehttps://realityrevolutionlive.com/aura45338118  Facebook https://www.facebook.com/The-Reality-Revolution-Podcast-Hosted-By-Brian-Scott-102555575116999 Facebook group The Reality Revolution https://www.facebook.com/groups/523814491927119 Contact us at media@advancedsuccessinstitute.com For coaching – https://www.advancedsuccessinstitute.com For all episodes of the Reality Revolution – https://www.therealityrevolution.com Subscribe - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOgXHr5S3oF0qetPfqxJfSw Follow Us on Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/TheRealityRevolution/ Follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/the_reality_revolution/ Follow me on Twitter https://twitter.com/mediaprime Follow me on MeWe https://mewe.com/i/brianscott71 Join our reality revolution group - https://twitter.com/i/communities/1509405555579777024 Music By Mettaverse and Epidemic Sound

Eating healthy was much easier and more affordable just a few decades ago because most people lived on fertile farms where they could grow some of their food. However, all that has changed thanks to climate change, increased demand, high cost of inputs, among others. One of the solutions to this problem is using indoor vertical farms to increase the production of healthy food ingredients.Today, the host Kevin Blevins talks to Vilij co-founders, Terry Carr and Brandon Smith. Terry is an experienced designer and Brandon is a mechanical engineer. Their company is creating a technology-embedded aeroponic system that allows you to grow food indoors. They'll share with us the impact that they expect their product to have and the progress they made so far.In this episode, you'll learn about the innovative strategies that the company employs to monitor the plants' growth process. You'll also hear about the challenges that they've faced along the way and how they were able to overcome them. VINTAGE WACKY, OFF-THE-WALL SCIENCE FICTION "Give Us More Wilcox, Please!" begged award-winning sf writer-editor Terry Carr in a letter to Fantastic Adventures in the early 1950s. Princess of the Seas, which has never been reprinted since its original pulp magazine appearance, is one of Don Wilcox's most celebrated science fantasy novels. Like all Don Wilcox's best work, it is a dream extravaganza. In an era when other writers were aiming for scientific accuracy, Wilcox, who knew his science, aimed at a different effect. For Wilcox wrote Science-Fantasy, with the accent on fantasy. His tales were more like what a wide-screen, Technicolor MGM adventure epic cum sf film, starring, say, Errol Flynn, would be like if any had ever been made. If you love wacky, off-the-wall sf, then you won't be able to resist the writer the 1940s hailed as Don "the madman" Wilcox. Come along as the hero, the explorer, Stupe (for Stupendous) Smith, the cook, Gypsy Brown, whose Yiddish is as thick as her wits are nimble, plus a number of spies and moles, rocket off to the ocean world of Venus in search of a beautiful woman said to ride its sapphire seas on a horse. There you will meet, and fall in love with the princess Zaleese-Ocella-dudu-Valletha-Kolello-Enyuperra-dudu-Ferroteela-Conzanzi-Methopop Ling, her white stallion, Marble Boy, who courses the ocean waves with the same nimbleness with which he breasts its deepest depths; not to mention such unforgettable characters as the fearsome Wingmen, the Earth magnate, J.J. Wellington, whose treacherous actions unleash war between Earth and Venus, and Gooyay, the little boy who just may be the key to peace or total carnage. Be prepared for zany situations, off-beat puns, daffy characters, and plenty of laughs! (SF critics and Wilcox's colleagues of the period are divided over whether his particular approach to sf was tongue-in-cheek and intended to be funny, or merely the result of the copious quantities of whiskey needed to keep him typing at full speed to meet deadlines). No wonder, Lin Carter, the award-winning fantasist, hailed Don Wilcox's work as "Adult fairy tales!" Don Wilcox (1905-2000) was one of the most popular science fiction writers of the 1940s and early 1950s. The letter columns of Amazing, Other Worlds, Fantastic Adventuresand other Golden Age science fiction pulps are filled with letters from fans, among them soon to be Hugo Award winners like Terry Carr and Robert Silverberg, praising his work and begging for more. Most popular of all were Wilcox's novels, such as The Ice Queen, Cats of Kadenza, The Serpent Has Five Fangs, Land of Big Blue Apples. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Smart Gals' Dead Poets Slam, a rowdy celebration of the work of deceased scribes, returns to Skylight Books for another scintillating, nail-biting night of lyric and non-lyric competition. Last year we pitted Monarchs against Minions. This year we bring you Hot Poet/Cold Poet. Do snowy winters make better writers? What effect does too much sunshine have on verse? Will poets who had to wear coats trump those who found their voices in more temperate zones? No matter who prevails, everyone will get to hear the works of well known and not-so-familiar dead poets performed anonymously by experienced performers who will give life to their works: Nöel Alumit, Lana Buss, Terry Carr, Kathleen Coyne, Juli Crockett Feldman, Lori Yeghiayan Friedman, Amy French, Jill Paxton, and Rita Williams. This year's panel of "celebrity" judges includes Neda Pourang Disney, David Markland and Kwynn Perry. The 2011 slam was standing room only, so please arrive early to save yourself a seat. About Smart Gals Productions: Smart Gals is a nonprofit, public benefit organization dedicated to developing the greater arts community in Los Angeles, by constructing original events in unlikely places and creating transformative social gatherings through The Reading Preserve™, our site-specific performance series Are You Interested?™. Mourners gathered last January to bid adieu to our long-running, now defunct semi-literary salon, The Speakeasy™.
