In this episode, Chris Cochrane guest-hosts for his brother Ray and devotes the whole show to one event: Disney’s D23 2026 fan convention in Anaheim. Friday night delivered Marvel’s new X-Men cast, Adam Driver as Mister Sinister, a fresh Avengers: Doomsday trailer, and a release date for Frozen 3. Saturday turned to the parks, with Villains Land, an Indiana Jones dark ride, the long-awaited Expedition Everest yeti repair, and a Monsters Inc land opening in 2027. – Want to start a podcast? Support my Show Sponsor: Best Godaddy Promo Codes Get 1Password Full Summary Chris Cochrane opens the show and explains why this episode breaks the usual format. Instead of six or eight unrelated stories, the entire episode covers Disney’s D23 convention, which he compares to Apple’s WWDC. For newcomers, he notes that D23 is Disney’s official fan club, named for the company’s founding year of 1923. This year’s event ran two nights at the Honda Center: Friday for movies and television, Saturday for the theme parks. Marvel Finally Casts the X-Men Friday’s headline was the X-Men. The Associated Press put the crowd near 12,000, and Marvel Studios used that stage to name its rebooted team. Christopher Abbott plays Professor Charles Xavier, Inde Navarrette plays Rogue, and Maya Boyd plays Storm. Adam Driver rounds out the group as the villain Mister Sinister. Meanwhile, Samara Weaving, Kit Connor, and Sadie Sink were already known as Emma Frost, Cyclops, and Jean Grey. Jake Schreier directs, and the film arrives May 5, 2028. Chris calls the lineup spot-on casting. He singles out Weaving as a perfect match for the comics, and he points out that Sink already appeared as Jean Grey in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Navarrette is the least established name, coming off a breakout role in an indie horror film. Boyd, meanwhile, was the name he knew least, with what he believes is a Broadway background. Above all, Chris hopes Marvel does the team justice, and he recommends the animated revival X-Men ’97 on Disney+ as the best place to start. Frozen 3 Gets a Date and a Chaotic Reveal Frozen 3 lands November 24, 2027. That is the Wednesday of Thanksgiving week, the same slot the first two films used. The story centers on Anna and Kristoff’s wedding, which a new villain, an evil Ice Queen, disrupts. Jennifer Lee returns to direct with Trent Correy, and the full voice cast is back. However, the reveal itself fell apart. Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel performed a darker arrangement of “Frozen Heart.” Meanwhile, the audio failed, the video failed, and a set of doors never opened. Menzel asked the crowd whether they should try it again, and Bell simply narrated everything that was supposed to happen. Afterward, Josh Gad sang “Oooh, Samantha,” a new love song for Olaf. Chris is here for it, since Olaf is one of the franchise’s best comic characters. Pixar, Disney Animation, and the Rest of Friday Night Pixar chief Pete Docter laid out a packed slate. Incredibles 3 hits summer 2028 and follows Violet and Dash sneaking out at night to fight crime. Chris hopes that finally shows a grown-up Jack-Jack. Coco 2 follows in November 2029 with Benjamin Bratt returning as Ernesto de la Cruz. That has fans puzzling over how a villain already in the Land of the Dead comes back. Additionally, Pixar showed an original called Ghost Market and a Venice-set cat film called Gatto. On the Disney Animation side, Zootopia 3 is confirmed. The live-action Tangled arrives March 31, 2028 with Kathryn Hahn as Mother Gothel. Chris considers that casting perfect after her turn in Agatha All Along. A live-action Lilo & Stitch sequel, a new Simpsons movie, a Bluey movie, and a Kingdom Hearts anime series round out the list. For Star Wars fans, Ahsoka returns January 20, 2027. Chris also offers a hot take: he prefers Rogue One to the entire sequel trilogy. Consequently, he welcomes original stories like Ryan Gosling’s upcoming Starfighter. Adam Driver Is Mister Sinister Driver appeared by video rather than in person. He told the crowd that he and Kevin Feige had talked for years about joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Then he announced he would play Magneto. After a long pause, he corrected himself to Nathaniel Milbury, which is Mister Sinister’s human alias. The gag landed because fans had floated Driver for Magneto for years. For anyone new to the comics, Chris explains that Mister Sinister is a geneticist obsessed with mutant DNA, a manipulator rather than a brawler. The cast met backstage only minutes earlier, so Chris is curious how their chemistry develops. Notably, Christopher Abbott previously worked with Driver on HBO’s Girls. The script comes from Beef creator Lee Sung Jin and The Bear co-showrunner Joanna Calo, two prestige-television names that have Chris excited. Why the X-Men Took Thirty Years to Reach the MCU A business story underlies the casting. In the 1990s, a financially struggling Marvel sold film rights to raise cash. Fox ended up with the X-Men and the Fantastic Four, and Sony took Spider-Man. As a result, Marvel Studios built its connected universe from 2008 onward without some of its most famous characters. The Hugh Jackman era of X-Men films belonged to Fox, with a separate continuity and no crossovers. That changed in 2019, when Disney closed its $71 billion purchase of 21st Century Fox’s film and television studio. Most coverage framed the deal as a streaming play, but it also brought the X-Men home. Chris sums it up neatly: Disney signed the paperwork in 2019, cast the film in 2026, and audiences see it in 2028. Ryan Gosling’s Starfighter, Ghost Rider, and VisionQuest Lucasfilm dated Star Wars: Starfighter for May 28, 2027. Gosling plays Kade Auberon, a pilot from the wrong side of the galaxy tied to the fastest starfighter ever built. Before he walked out, Disney played clips of him as a kid on The Mickey Mouse Club. Gosling said the company changed his life then and is changing it again now. He is also playing Ghost Rider in the Marvel universe. That thrills Chris, since Nicolas Cage last carried the character on the big screen. Meanwhile, the Disney+ series VisionQuest arrives October 14. Paul Bettany returns as Vision and James Spader as Ultron, and the trailer drops the two androids into oddly mundane human situations. Bettany joked that Vision has “rather inconveniently died several times.” Chris agrees the character has been through the wringer since WandaVision. The Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Avengers: Doomsday opens December 18, with Joe and Anthony Russo directing. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Hayley Atwell introduced the new footage. It offers the clearest look yet at Downey as Doctor Doom, who fights off Thor and takes his hammer. Evans appears as Captain America holding a baby, and Ian McKellen shows up as a haggard, long-haired Magneto. One quieter shot has Doom staring at a portrait of a lost wife and child. That frames him as a grieving avenger rather than a world-ender. He also commands an army of comic-accurate Sentinels. The cast pulls from the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the legacy Fox X-Men, including Patrick Stewart. Hugh Jackman also appeared on screen to say he is willing to return as Wolverine, though that was not a confirmation. Chris, a self-described Marvel nerd, closes with a theory. He suspects the MCU’s Tony Stark was actually Victor von Doom, adopted by the Starks, which would explain the Downey casting. He also predicts the Fox-era X-Men die off in this film and that Thor may be the major casualty. If it happens, he wants credit for calling it. Disney Parks Around the World Saturday’s Disney Experiences showcase covered parks, resorts, and cruise ships, with Neil Patrick Harris hosting. Hong Kong Disneyland gets an Avengers pavilion that reshapes its Stark Expo skyline. Shanghai Disneyland is building the first land devoted entirely to Spider-Man, complete with a new coaster. Since Spider-Man is his favorite hero, Chris hopes to visit once it opens. Closer to home, Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure is doubling in size with two rides opening in 2028. Avengers: Infinity Defense brings back Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, Chris Hemsworth, and Downey, while Stark Flight Lab adds Brie Larson. A Coco boat ride into the Land of the Dead is also coming, with no height requirement. Chris admits he prefers California Adventure to Disneyland because the rides are better. Overseas, Disneyland Paris will retire its Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain overlay at the end of 2027 and restore the original Jules Verne theme. Paris also gets the first ride ever based on The Lion King. Tokyo Disneyland adds Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue, the first Wreck-It Ralph ride, plus a Space Mountain launch sequence designed with YouTuber Mark Rober. Finally, Disney Cruise Line announced three more ships, including the Disney Believe in 2027 and an entirely new class in 2029. Back in Anaheim, Tomorrowland is getting reimagined, which Chris welcomes because the land badly needs an update. The Magic Happens parade and the Remember Dreams Come True fireworks are both returning. For the tech crowd, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run now has a Fortnite crossover, where in-game missions unlock content on the real ride. Every New Walt Disney World Ride and Land Chris ranks the Florida parks Hollywood Studios first, then Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom leads the announcements with Villains Land, now the official name. It features a Maleficent coaster through an enchanted briar and a boat ride through the Evil Queen’s catacombs. Reporting puts its scale near Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and Glenn Close appeared in character as Cruella to announce it. Piston Peak, the Cars area replacing Tom Sawyer Island, adds two more rides, though their exact names remain unsettled. Additionally, the Carousel of Progress gets new scenes and a recast. Jamie Lee Curtis and Bryan Cranston will voice Mom and Dad starting late spring 2027. Chris, invoking Heisenberg, calls Cranston the GOAT. At Animal Kingdom, the Indiana Jones ride now has a name: Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent. It tells an original 1950 story inside a Maya temple, and Harrison Ford personally served as the physical model for the animatronic. Nearby, the Tropical Americas land brings Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto, with more than fifty animal animatronics and no height requirement. Then comes the fix park regulars have wanted for years. The Expedition Everest yeti broke soon after the ride opened. Rather than fix it, Disney lit it with a strobe for over a decade, earning the nickname disco yeti. Now it is being repaired and returned to full motion. Chris rates Everest among his top five rides anywhere, and he suggests riding it before the fix so you can compare. Over at Epcot, Spaceship Earth gets its first major story rewrite in nearly twenty years, shifting from communication history to human connection. Dreamfinder also returns to Journey Into Imagination, and Disney Experiences chairman Thomas Mazloum introduced that news with two words: “we heard you.” Mazloum added that Disney has more projects underway than at any point in its history. After this rundown, Chris believes him. Monsters Inc Land Opens in 2027 Monstropolis begins opening at Hollywood Studios in early 2027, but in stages. The headline door coaster will not be ready on day one. It is the first suspended coaster in any Disney park. It also uses Disney’s first vertical lift, hauling riders about forty feet straight up before launching them into the door vault. Instead, the land opens with the Glob Theater’s “Welcome to Monstropolis” show and Harryhausen’s, a working sushi restaurant lifted from the first film. The stage show features an original song by Randy Newman, his first ever written for a theme park attraction. Chris also notes that the restaurant name honors stop-motion legend Ray Harryhausen. Wrapping up, Chris names the X-Men casting and the Doomsday trailer as his favorite moments of the weekend. He hopes to cover more movie news on future shows, and he plugs Dune: Part Three, which also opens December 18. Chris signs off with the usual mentions: GNC Insider at geeknewscentral.com/insider, email at geeknews@gmail.com, the newsletter, and modern podcast apps at podcastapps.com. He also thanks GoDaddy for over twenty years of support. The post Huge Announcements From D23!! #1873 appeared first on Geek News Central.
You're successful, independent and capable. You've built a life you're proud of and you're used to getting things done.So why can love still feel so difficult? In this episode of Healing With Teeling, I'm breaking down the final Love-Blocking Archetype in this series: The Overachiever. The Overachiever is often the woman everyone else thinks has it all together. She's ambitious, reliable and strong. She knows how to achieve, solve problems and take care of herself. But underneath that independence can be a subconscious belief that love, approval and worth have to be earned. And when you bring that belief into relationships, you can find yourself over-giving, over-functioning, trying to control the outcome or working far too hard to make a relationship work.In this episode, I cover:• The common signs of the Overachiever Archetype• Why achievement can become connected to your sense of worth• Childhood experiences that can create these subconscious patterns• Why asking for help, resting and receiving can feel uncomfortable• How being fiercely independent can affect intimacy and vulnerability• Why you may find yourself attracted to emotionally unavailable relationships• The difference between healthy independence and keeping people at a distance• How to stop trying to earn love through what you do for other people• Three practical ways to start changing the Overachiever pattern• How to separate who you are from what you achieveYou don't need to become less ambitious, stop being successful or make yourself smaller to find healthy love. The work is learning that your achievements are not evidence of your worth. You are worthy of love when you're achieving, and you're worthy of love when you're doing absolutely nothing. When you stop trying to prove yourself, you can start choosing yourself. And that changes the relationships you choose too.WAYS TO WORK WITH ME✨ One-to-One CoachingPrivate coaching for successful midlife women who are ready to heal after heartbreak or divorce, break unhealthy relationship patterns and create secure, lasting love.Using my five-step BeYou Method, we work on your subconscious beliefs, emotional healing, self-worth, boundaries and relationship choices. This is for the woman who is ready to stop repeating the same patterns, find herself again and build a life and relationship she truly loves.A limited number of private coaching spaces are available.
If you're fiercely independent, struggle to let people get too close or find yourself losing interest when someone becomes emotionally available, you might recognise yourself in the Ice Queen archetype. But the Ice Queen isn't cold.Often, she feels deeply. She has simply learned that keeping people at a distance feels safer than risking being hurt again. In this episode of Healing With Teeling, I'm breaking down the Ice Queen, one of the five Love Blocking Archetypes from my Why Am I Still Single? quiz. We'll explore:Who the Ice Queen is and how she shows up in relationshipsWhy independence can become emotional armourWhy you might pull away when someone gets closeHow heartbreak, betrayal or emotionally unavailable relationships can create this patternThe subconscious beliefs driving your behaviourWhy emotionally unavailable people can sometimes feel more attractive than secure onesWhy healthy love can initially feel unfamiliar or even boringHow to practise vulnerability without losing yourselfHow to start breaking these repeating relationship patternsYour conscious mind might want connection while your subconscious mind wants protection. So while you're saying, “I want a healthy relationship,” another part of you might be saying:“Love leads to pain.”“People leave.”“I can only rely on myself.”“If I let someone in, I'll get hurt.”Healing the Ice Queen isn't about becoming less independent. It's about learning that you can have boundaries without building walls, allow someone to love you without losing yourself and trust yourself enough to know you won't abandon yourself again.WAYS TO WORK WITH ME✨ One-to-One CoachingPrivate coaching for successful midlife women ready to heal after heartbreak or divorce, break unhealthy relationship patterns and create secure, lasting love using my five-step BeYou Method.
Why You Keep Falling in Love With Potential: The Fixer ArchetypeAre you always the one supporting, encouraging and trying to help your partner become the person you know they could be?You may be the Fixer. The Fixer is caring, loyal and highly empathetic. She sees the best in people, but this can lead her to fall in love with someone's potential rather than who they are today. She becomes their therapist, coach, cheerleader and emotional support system. She gives more, accepts less and hopes her love will eventually inspire them to change. In this episode, I explore:• Who the Fixer is and how this archetype behaves• Why being needed can feel like being loved• How childhood experiences and past relationships can create this pattern• The subconscious beliefs driving overgiving and rescuing• Why emotionally available partners can initially feel unfamiliar• How to stop taking responsibility for another adult• How to choose real, reciprocal love instead of potentialYou'll also hear practical questions to help you recognise when you are fixing, step back from responsibility that is not yours and bring your attention back to your own needs. You do not need to fix somebody into loving you. Healthy love does not require you to earn your place by becoming indispensable.BEYOU BLUEPRINT BETA TESTERS WANTEDI'm looking for five successful women to become beta testers for my signature programme before I officially relaunch it in September. If you've experienced a breakup, divorce or painful relationship and you're ready to stop repeating the same patterns, this is for you.The six-week BeYou Blueprint will help you work through:♡ Your relationship patterns♡ Limiting beliefs♡ Boundaries♡ Self-worth♡ Needs and values♡ Your vision for the futureYou'll receive:• Lifetime access to the course• Three private 30-minute coaching calls with me• A one-week implementation break• Practical exercises to create lasting changeYou'll need to commit 60 to 90 minutes each week, complete the programme and provide honest feedback before the September relaunch. The supported beta investment is £555 instead of the full price of £999.DM me on Instagram: with the word BETA and I'll share the full details.WAYS TO WORK WITH ME✨ One-to-One CoachingPrivate coaching for successful midlife women who are ready to heal after heartbreak or divorce, break unhealthy relationship patterns and create secure, lasting love.Using my five-step BeYou Method, we work on your subconscious beliefs, emotional healing, self-worth, boundaries and relationship choices. This is for the woman who is ready to stop repeating the same patterns, find herself again and build a life and relationship she truly loves.A limited number of private coaching spaces are available.
The Lone Wolf: When independence becomes a barrier to loveAre you the woman everyone relies on, but you struggle to let anyone support you?In this episode of Healing With Teeling, I break down the Lone Wolf, the second-highest result from women who take my Love Archetype Quiz. The Lone Wolf does not necessarily want to be alone. She wants love, but somewhere along the way she learned that relying on other people can lead to disappointment. Her independence became her protection. This can show up as choosing emotionally unavailable men, considering long-distance relationships or pulling away when somebody kind and consistent enters your life. Calm feels unfamiliar, while uncertainty feels like attraction. In this episode, you'll learn:• How the Lone Wolf behaves in dating and relationships• Why emotionally unavailable relationships can feel safer• Where hyper-independence may come from• The subconscious beliefs keeping this pattern in place• How to accept support without losing your independence• What to do when you want to pull away from a safe personHealing the Lone Wolf is not about becoming less capable. It is about learning that you can have boundaries and closeness, freedom and commitment, and still receive love.WAYS TO WORK WITH ME✨ One-to-One CoachingPrivate coaching for successful midlife women ready to heal after heartbreak or divorce, break unhealthy relationship patterns and create secure, lasting love.Using my five-step BeYou Method, we work on your subconscious beliefs, emotional healing, self-worth, boundaries and relationship choices.A limited number of private coaching spaces are available.
Are You Addicted to Love? The Love Addict Archetype ExplainedDo you become attached quickly, overthink every message or lose yourself when you meet someone you really like? You may be repeating the patterns of the Love Addict, the most common result from my Love Blocking Archetype Quiz. The Love Addict wants a loving, committed relationship. She wants someone she can trust, adore and share her life with. But fear of rejection, unresolved heartbreak and subconscious beliefs can lead her towards emotionally unavailable partners. In this episode, I explain:• The signs and behaviours of the Love Addict• Why you may confuse anxiety with chemistry• Why you become attached to someone's potential• How overgiving and hiding your needs affect relationships• How childhood experiences can shape your relationship patterns• How an ex, divorce or co-parenting relationship may still affect your love life• What your subconscious mind is trying to protect you from• Practical ways to stop chasing love and start choosing yourself• How my five-step BeYou Method helps you become ready for healthy loveThe goal isn't simply to find a new relationship. It's to become a woman who trusts herself, communicates her needs and no longer abandons herself to be chosen.WAYS TO WORK WITH ME✨ One-to-One CoachingPrivate coaching for successful midlife women who are ready to heal after heartbreak or divorce, break unhealthy relationship patterns and create secure, lasting love.Using my five-step BeYou Method, we work on your subconscious beliefs, emotional healing, self-worth, boundaries and relationship choices. This is for the woman who is ready to stop repeating the same patterns, find herself again and build a life and relationship she truly loves.A limited number of private coaching spaces are available.
What do the women who create the biggest transformations have in common? In this episode of Healing with Teeling, I'm sharing the stories of three clients whose lives changed dramatically through coaching.Although their circumstances were very different, they all arrived carrying the same fears, limiting beliefs and relationship patterns that were keeping them stuck. One was a Lone Wolf who had become fiercely independent after leaving a controlling relationship. One was a Fixer rebuilding her life after the breakdown of a seventeen-year marriage. One was an Ice Queen who had convinced herself there were no good men left after experiencing betrayal.Today I'm sharing their journeys from heartbreak, fear and self-protection to self-trust, healing and healthy love.If you've ever wondered why you keep attracting emotionally unavailable relationships, struggle to trust yourself in dating or feel like love just isn't happening for you, this episode is for you.In this episode you'll learn:• The common traits my most successful clients share• Why healing isn't about finding a relationship• How limiting beliefs shape your dating experiences• The difference between intuition and fear• Why self-trust is the foundation of healthy love• The coaching framework I use to help women transform their lives and relationships• How your Love Blocking Archetype may be holding you backTake the Love Blocking Archetype Quiz:Why Am I Still Single? That Wellness Podcast with Natalie Deering: Internal Family Systems with a Twist
What if your sensitivity was never the problem? In this podcast episode I sit down with Dr. Steve Chee to explore sensitivity, intuition, Internal Family Systems, and what becomes possible when we stop pathologizing the parts of ourselves we've been taught are “too much.” Together, we unpack the experience of being a highly sensitive person and the power of finally naming it. Dr. Steve shares insights on how sensitivity often develops within the relational field—how we learn to sense, adapt, perform, protect, and belong in response to the emotional environments around us. We explore the important distinction between sensitivity and intuition, and how many people bury the gift of sensitivity because of family systems, cultural beliefs, or experiences of being misunderstood. In this episode, we discuss: - What it means to be a highly sensitive person—and the relief of naming it - Sensitivity and the relational field - The difference between sensitivity and intuition - How family and cultural messages can bury sensitivity as a gift - Feeling like you are “too much” for others - Masking, performing, and adapting to belong - Protective parts that temper emotion (including my own “Ice Queen” part) - The gifts hidden beneath burdens and survival strategies - What happens when your “too muchness” isn't actually too much - Field awareness and relational sensitivity - Dr. Steve's upcoming book, The Field-Aware Soul Dr. Steve offers such a compassionate and paradigm-shifting perspective for sensitives, mystics, helpers, and anyone whose gifts bent toward survival before they had the chance to fully emerge. This conversation is an invitation to wonder: What if your sensitivity isn't something to fix—but something to understand, honor, and reclaim? About Dr. Steve Chee Dr. Steve Chee is an Integrative East–West Physician and Certified IFS Therapist, most recently the creator of the IFS Institute's Continuity Program, The Sacred Nervous System, and originator of The Field-Aware Soul Ecology—a relational framework for people whose sensitivity arrived early and became recruited into caretaking, performing, and belonging at a cost. His work centers around a powerful question: What if field sensitivity isn't a wound to heal, but a relational capacity waiting to be met? He works with sensitives, mystics, and those who were told they were “too much”—helping people reclaim gifts that once bent toward survival and transform them into deeper connection, authenticity, and belonging. Gone Surfing!: Ice Queen's Cave by Donna VossWhile the world and sites to see seem vast and endless, there is connection and community smaller than we think. A series of short stories and poems, Donna Voss demonstrates connections on a global front: world-class pilots and children of a farm, a surfer traveling the globe, the united experiences of veterans returning home from war. About the Author:Donna Voss lives in Southern California. As a volunteer at her public grade school, she began the Garden Club when her daughter started kindergarten in 1997. Since then, many parents and teachers have contributed their energy toward building a "Farm to Table" public school program, which teaches kids how to grow, make, reuse, repurpose, recycle food, expanding the program throughout the district. When Donna's daughter became the Garden Club teacher, she developed an educational curriculum and got a grant for the first farmhouse. Now offsite tours at the school district farm are provided to all the K-6 graders who enjoy field trips of the ever-expanding farm site. By teaching the next generation how to grow sustainable food, they are also learning how to build a healthy community and develop good relationships, by promoting inclusivity and teaching the importance of considering another person's perspective. Also, by learning how to listen with empathy and the simple act that being kind really does matter and, in some cases, can make all the difference.https://www.amazon.com/Gone-Surfing-Ice-Queens-Cave/dp/B0FQBMSW14https://mainspringbooks.com/http://www.bluefunkbroadcasting.com/root/twia/5726dvmsb.mp3

What happens when a high-society fertility nurse decides her husband is no longer part of her "happily ever after"? You get one of the most clinical, cold-blooded, and flat-out jaw-dropping true crime stories in New Jersey history. This week, we're diving deep into the life of Melanie McGuire—a woman who lived a double life fueled by a "lusty" office affair with a prominent doctor. We're talking thousands of dirty emails, secret "burner" phones, and a digital paper trail that would make a soap opera writer blush. But when the "Lust" hit a breaking point, Melanie didn't just ask for a divorce. She used her medical expertise to orchestrate a "system override" of her marriage that involved a sedative cocktail, a .38 caliber revolver, and a three-piece set of matching Kenneth Cole luggage. From the "Ice Queen" persona in the courtroom to the "moderately intelligent" mistakes involving an EZ-Pass and some very specific target-practice bullets, we break down how a suburban dream turned into a forensic nightmare. It's a story of surgical precision, designer disposal, and the ultimate betrayal by the "work husband" she risked it all for.Grab a beer and lock your bathroom doors—this one gets messy.Find Us on Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/c/BrohiopodcastWe Live Stream All Our Episodes! youtube.com/brohiopodcastFind us on all the socials @BrohioPodcast

Sarah is trying to talk Susie into loving winter sports, and it ain't working. In fact, she's decided Shaun White is on our list of people we have bad vibes about. We hear why Sarah thinks she'd be great at ice skating. We learn why breakfast foods are becoming more expensive, Florida is out of the orange juice biz, and Susie doesn't know what she's going to eat now. We find out why China is causing a bizarre boom in saxophone players, and Sarah has a theory about it. We discuss sports betting, why it's a problem, and how apparently you can be a "professional slot machine player." Plus, a woman found out she has the blood of a man, and we are baffled about how that works.00:00 - Sarah's Winter Sports Push and Shaun White'sBad Vibes09:46 - Breathe Cleaner Air with Air Doctor Air Purifiers12:01 - Why Orange Juice & Breakfast Staples Are Becoming a Luxury20:25 - Wrap Yourself in Luxury with Cozy Earth Bedding & Pajamas21:52 - The Shift to Struggle Meals as Breakfast Becomes Pricier27:00 - The Bizarre Boom of Saxophone Players in China33:57 - Share Cherished Memories with Aura Digital Photo Frames36:20 - ChatGPT Wins Lottery & The Dark Side of Sports Betting53:08 - The Incredible Case of a Woman with Male Blood Cells01:00:18 - Final Thoughts, Listener Thanks & Holiday WishesBrain Candy Podcast Website - https://thebraincandypodcast.com/Brain Candy Podcast Book Recommendations - https://thebraincandypodcast.com/books/Brain Candy Podcast Merchandise - https://thebraincandypodcast.com/candy-store/Brain Candy Podcast Candy Club - https://thebraincandypodcast.com/product/candy-club/Brain Candy Podcast Sponsor Codes - https://thebraincandypodcast.com/support-us/Brain Candy Podcast Social Media & Platforms:Brain Candy Podcast LIVE Interactive Trivia Nights - https://www.youtube.com/@BrainCandyPodcast/streamsBrain Candy Podcast Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/braincandypodcastHost Susie Meister Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/susiemeisterHost Sarah Rice Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/imsarahriceBrain Candy Podcast on X: https://www.x.com/braincandypodBrain Candy Podcast Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/braincandy (JOIN FREE - TONS OF REALITY TV CONTENT)Brain Candy Podcast Sponsors, partnerships, & Products that we love:Visit https://auraframes.com and get $45 off Aura's best-selling Carver Mat frames - named #1 by Wirecutter - by using promo code BRAINCANDY at checkout.Head to https://airdoctorpro.com and use promo code CANDY to get UP TO $300 off today! "There's no such thing as truth. It's bullsh*t. Everyone has their own truth, and life just does whatever the f*ck it want."To discuss the story of Tonya Harding is to discuss the ‘90s news cycle, “white trash America,” misogyny, and the vilification of girls living in poverty. This week The Wives Colangelo are talking about the Oscar-winning biopic, I, TONYA. This is a pretty charged conversation about the perceptions and assumptions society projects onto someone when the media needs a villain, and what happens when a person's reputation outlasts their humanity.Be advised, this episode includes discussions of abuse and domestic violence. ----Articles ReferencedMaking an Ice Queen (by Sarah Marshall!): https://thebaffler.com/latest/i-tonya-marshallIn Defense of Tonya Harding: https://www.damemagazine.com/2018/01/19/i-know-what-its-like-to-be-tonya-harding/----Become a Patron!https://www.patreon.com/thisendsatprom----Follow the Show: @ThisEndsAtPromBJ Colangelo: @BJColangeloHarmony Colangelo: @Veloci_trap_tor / @HarmonyColangelo on Bluesky----------Logo Design: Haley Doodles @HaleyDoodleDoTheme Song: The Sonder Bombs 'Title': https://thesonderbombs.bandcamp.com/
