Topic - Should you ever discipline someone else's child? What happens if your playdate guest is a brat?  Should you discipline someone else's child?  Yes, you should if the child's safety is at stake.  Consider these steps.  Is the child coming over the first time?  Then, get some ground rules from the parents and let the kid know in advance that those rules will be in effect and maybe a few more.  Don't go overboard with punishment.  Talk it out and never get physical.  Let small infractions go, especially if the kids are excited.  Not saying “thank you” shouldn't be a death sentence.  Notice good behavior and tell them so.  If the other kid is being rotten and your kid isn't, point out what you saw later in private.  Need to talk to the kids' parents?  Say that she had a tough time following the rules and might think I'm mean because I don't do things the way you do.  I didn't want her to get hurt.  Want them to come back to play?  Ask the parent to come along and give you some pointers so everyone can have fun. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drclaudia/message

Guest: Sam Rohrer, Dr. Peter Vincent Pry & Jeffrey R. Nyquist. Topic: Brannon explains why he believes why the Coronavirus may have been spread on purpose by the Communist Chinese government. Topic: Pastor Sam is a former member of the Pennsylvania legislature as well as a gubernatorial candidate. Brannon and Sam discuss their concern in regards to the overreach of local, state, and federal government in their response to the Coronavirus that has seemingly become too much about politics as well as giving up our rights. Topic: While a voluntary quarantine is one thing, why is it unconstitutional for a mayor to order businesses to close even when it could mean those businesses go bankrupt? Topic: The Governor of California is now talking about martial law. Topic: Should the government be sending checks to every American? How is this not relying on socialist policies to confront the virus? Topic: While Brannon believes that bringing in hospital ships and temporary tent hospitals is all very necessary and prudent preparation, the state governments and federal governments must not implement socialist and freedom robing policies or the so-called solutions could be worse than the initial Coronavirus problem. Topic: Dr. Peter Vincent Pry joins us to discuss the latest threat by China to use an EMP against American military ships in the South China Sea. Brannon also asks Dr. Pry why our governments have been so quick to spend billions and billions of dollars to protect Americans against the Coronavirus but these same governments will not spend the $2 billion to harden the power grid. Topic: Jeff Nyquist joins us to discuss why Brannon and Jeff are beginning to believe the Communist Chinese allowed the Coronavirus to spread on purpose. Is the Coronavirus just the first wave of attack by the Communist Chinese on America?

Topic - Should we ban glitter? Should glitter be banned?  Absolutely. It's a microplastic and we sure have enough of that in our food, body lotions, shower gels, make-up and arts and crafts products, including the billions of greeting cards we mail out every year.  It's a hazard, primarily, because of its size, less than 5 millimeters in length. It goes down the drain and out into the oceans. In fact, a third of all fish caught off Great Britain had plastic in their bodies.  Britain is banning the use of glitter in their nursery schools and is well on the way to banning it as a country. In the US, only 7 states have passed laws to restrict the use of microbeads in facial scrubs and body washes.  What are we doing to ourselves? We need to control the controllable and ban all of this stuff. It's unnecessary. It's everywhere and gets stuck on everybody and everything. Let's get rid of this evil nuisance once and for all. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drclaudia/message

Topic - Should babies get flu shots? With all the immunizations that infants get during their first year of life, parents may be very willing to pass on getting the annual flu shot, but that would be a mistake.  The Centers for Disease Control recommends that infants under the age of 6 months get the shot as early as September of the upcoming flu season in order for them to develop immunity.  For children not yet fully vaccinated, they may need two doses. The nasal spray isn't as effective as the shot and can be given along with other vaccinations. While babies can react with fever, chills, muscle aches, headache and nausea, that's a small price to pay for not developing dehydration, pneumonia, bronchitis, asthma, brain swelling, ear and sinus infections and death.  172 children died of the flu during 2017-18 season and 80% of them weren't vaccinated. You can't live with the consequences. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drclaudia/message

Thanks for your listening! Please feel free to leave your comments and/or opinions to andiemarcle@gmail.com Synopsis of Today's Topic: Should we use our definition of excellence to decide others’ future, or should our views are being changed by others’ excellence of all kinds? SAT, for example, brings convenience to the evaluation process, but it is not always reliable because people are different and some ability cannot be found by tests. The standardized test, to some extent, like the currency exchange rate which bridges countries and economy, brings a lot of convenience, but it will be the same as the exchange rate which brings not only convenience but financial crisis. When people put their judgments on these measures, they may be misled sometimes, and in terms of education, we will miss talents. What’s more, although it might be no effect for a school to miss a talent, it means different for the talent. So, there is no wrong to have such measures, but it is so wrong to rely completely on these measures.
