Devi pensare ad un colpo solo. E' tutto lì. One shot. La precisione. L'attesa. Vi fa venire in mente qualcosa?

Your brain isn't broken, it's overloaded. When the news cycle never ends, notifications pile up, and work and family pressure hit at once, stress squeezes your attention down to survival mode. That narrow, defensive mindset keeps you productive in the shortest term, but it also crushes the one thing that matters more and more in the AI era: creativity. We talk about why knowledge work is shifting away from repetitive tasks and toward original thinking, and how constant “mental noise” can quietly steal your best ideas. Then we shift gears to something most riders already feel but may not have named. Motorcycling forces present-moment focus in a way screens never will. You can't safely check emails while chasing the perfect line through a corner. Your eyes, body, and mind lock onto the road, the bike, the grip, the timing, the smoothness. That focused attention declutters the mind, lowers the internal chatter, and creates the quiet space where insight can finally surface. If you've ever had a surprising idea appear mid-ride, there's a reason for it, and we break it down in plain language. To make it real, I share one of my favorite Colorado stories: the Carousel of Happiness in Nederland. Built by Vietnam veteran Scott Harrison, it's a living example of how distraction-free, repetitive craft can turn pain into purpose and create joy for an entire community. We end with a simple challenge: when you feel stressed, unfocused, or creatively blocked, don't reach for the screen. Suit up, go ride, and see what shows up in the quiet. If this resonates, subscribe, share the episode with a riding friend, and leave a review so more motorcyclists can find Peace Love Moto.Episode Sponsor:   https://www.vikingbags.com/https://www.vikingbags.com/collections/bmw-r-1250-gs-adventure-touring-hard-side-casesSupport the showBecome a Member: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2126578/supporters/newBuy Ron a Coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/peacelovemotoGear Up at the Shop: https://peacelovemotostore.com

Last year was the first time we went to Balaton, and the result wasn't great. This year? Hate the track, love the riders. And I say 'riders', plural, because it takes two to tango. And people, did we get one hell of a dance between Acosta and Marquez today. Yes, the king is back and schooling everyone with 1,5 functional arms. Keen readers might notice that this is slightly less than the average of 2, but leave it to Marquez to make the best of it and show everyone how it's done. And if that doesn't make you excited, then just think:He's only going to get better from here. Who also keeps steadily doing better is Pedro Acosta, showing us how gentlemen duel while speeding over the tarmac with Marc. He's making the KTM look good, perhaps even better than it really is. Now let's put him on a Ducati next year, and see what happens...So yes, Mat and Peter have got plenty to talk about. Also, is this going to be the year that the Bez becomes champion? You never know...---Want more? Visit our website or support us on Patreon. The first half of the WorldSBK season is in the books and Steve and Gordo get you up to date with the latest news from inside the paddock as Nicolo Bulega continues his relentless drive to a first Superbike title. The Italian is still perfect for 2026 with 18 wins from 18 starts but Sunday's Superpole Race saw him pushed harder than at any point thus far. His harder rear tyre proved the difference maker but, as ever, Bulega found a way to win. What must Iker Lecuona be thinking? The Spainard, 15 times a runner-up finisher this year, is hunting for his first WorldSBK victory. He's hurting too because he knows how close he keeps coming to that success. His reward for his hard work will be seen this weekend in MotoGP where he'll replace Alex Marquez. Outside of the Aruba.it Ducati riders there was plenty to talk about but Gordo's conversations with Tommy Bridewell have certainly left an impression. Is Aprilia the new Ducati? Is Trooper Lu our new home? How long before we get deplatformed from YouTube? These questions and more answered in episode 202 as the boys record from a new venue and Aprilia continues to flip the script on their Italian cousins with a 1-2 finish at Mugello. But as always that's just part of the fun as we hear from Jake Dixon after his first ride back from injury, Borrie regales us with a poem and Jorge gives an update on how his coaching career is progressing in his weekly Dear George update.

So let's go over to Italy, and see what caught the eye of our hosts Mat and......wait, I'm getting word that Peter is still on a secret mission somewhere? Oh dear. Have we got anyone else on the ground, then? Nope, nobody but Mat and his incredible social skills! So there he goes, conjuring up a co-host out of thin air for this weekend! Give it up for Cory West, American rider representing Saddlemen Racing in the Bagger World Cup. He's very charming, funny and isn't afraid to walk around the entire track with Mat while carrying a silly microphone. And let me tell you, the man knows his history. Dr. Wendy Pojmann on Why Italy Understands Motorcycles Better Than America

Driven to Ride

The freedom of the open road, escape from the every day, and throw in a little rebellious spirit - that's what motorcycles are all about right? Well, according to author, historian, and professor, Dr Wendy Pojmann, that idea may only exist in the US - whereas, in Italy, motorcycles are looked at more as a part of everyday life. In her book, Connected by the street, the myths and realities of motorcycles in the USA and Italy, Wendy breaks down the pretty striking difference between how motorcycles are perceived in the US culture versus the Italian culture - whether you look at racing, manufacturers, or even motorcycle clubs. The product of Wendy's research stems from her passion for everything Italian - from Ducatis and Vespas to espresso, and combines it with her personal experiences from the surprising reactions of both Italians and Americans when they learn she rides a motorcycle - although I guess you won't find a huge of crossover between college professors and motorcycle riders. What's fascinating about Wendy's book is that it takes a lot of things that motorcyclists may already ‘know', but frames it in an academic sense, complete with research and historical context - and you may not look at Italian motorcycles the same way again. CFO Thought Leader

In early 2009, Paolo Poma found himself navigating what he recalls as a “really tough” period. At the time, he was helping steer Ducati through a leveraged buyout negotiated before the collapse of Lehman Brothers. Debt obligations had arrived just as markets were “plummeting,” Poma tells us, while lenders closely monitored covenant compliance and private equity owners pressed ahead with the deal.Poma remembers sitting with bankers and shareholders through repeated discussions about liquidity, budgets, and cash generation. “Planning cash was crucial because covenants on cash were really tight,” he tells us. The experience forced him to balance operational performance with financial discipline while uncertainty spread across global markets. Ducati ultimately avoided breaking its covenants, Poma tells us, and the period became one of the defining stretches of his finance career. The challenge also reinforced the leadership style that would later shape his tenure at Lamborghini. Trained originally as an engineer, Poma tells us he built his finance career by combining analytical rigor with business understanding. He later expanded his responsibilities from controlling to investor relations, treasury, and accounting before formally becoming CFO in 2011.Today, that long-view mindset influences how he approaches Lamborghini's growth. The company grew from roughly €200 million in revenue to nearly €2.4 billion over the last decade, Poma tells us, while maintaining a focus on profitability, product discipline, and sustainable expansion.

Find me on Substack: https://bogumilbaranowski.substack.com/In this monthly Unfiltered Coffee check-in, I start with a lesson I keep learning from wealthy people — live your life now, don't wait. I share a personal story about buying and riding a red Ducati, and the unexpected memories it created. Sometimes the best investments we make aren't financial at all.I answer listener questions, recommend where new listeners can start, and highlight standout recent and upcoming episodes — conversations on historical financial advice, intangible assets, surrounding yourself with good people, microcaps, Berkshire and Buffett, family advising, trading psychology, and execution.I talk about how I research and track many stocks, and why research itself is a form of motion. Small adjustments beat freezing every time. I share my productivity system — notes, scheduling, a weekly “improve or eliminate” review, and the power of an “undo button” when things don't work.We get into outdated money beliefs and why so many people don't feel wealthy even when they are. Money as freedom. Money as peace of mind. The difference between waiting for permission and finding the courage to act.I reflect on what I'm learning from studying Li Lu, on staying patient in markets that feel expensive, and on why advisory fees are really an investment in trust and service. We close with thoughts on outsourcing versus doing it yourself, a “forgotten money” exercise that might surprise you, and what it means to keep and pass on wealth with intention.Podcast Program – Disclosure StatementBlue Infinitas Capital, LLC is a registered investment adviser and the opinions expressed by the Firm's employees and podcast guests on this show are their own and do not reflect the opinions of Blue Infinitas Capital, LLC. Hello and welcome again to the Motos and Friends Podcast. This episode is brought to you by Leod Escapes. My name is Arthur Coldwells. *  *  *  *  * Have you ever wanted to ride a real MotoGP track? Well, here's your chance! Leod Escapes does all sorts of amazing European tours, including the incredible Munich to Mugello tour at the end of June, or you can try the Core of Catalunya or the Portimão Andalusia trips, both in October. These are incredible touring experiences with the very best that Europe has to offer, as well as riding these amazing tracks on brand new BMW S1000RRs. So for the trip of a lifetime, visit LeodEscapes.com, now! *  *  *  *  * In our first segment, Nic de Sena tells us all about his recent trip to Spain to ride the new 2027 Suzuki GSX-R1000R. Suzuki did a slightly different spin on this particular launch where they split the journalists into teams of 3, and had a 6-hour endurance ‘race' to see how well everyone fared. Nic gives us the lowdown on what it's like to the new Gixxer and for such long track sessions! Rider Market from just outside Orlando, Florida, is the winner of the recent Royal Enfield BTR Build-Off competition in the Road Race category. Brian Koster is the Parts Director at Rider Market and he tells us briefly about the machine and parts he selected that made this retro-looking Royal Enfield stand out and take the trophy.   Our guest for this episode is Brian Bentley. A few years ago, just prior to Covid, Brian had a chance to buy a Ducati 916. He's always been a major fan of the bike ever since it launched in the early nineties. He'd actually been looking for a 748 for a while, but when this great example came to his attention he couldn't resist. The only snag was that it was completely disassembled. So, Brian did what any reasonable bike-fanatic would do: he loaded all the endless boxes of parts into the trunk of his SUV, headed home to Daytona Beach, and started the build. Brian recounts the story of this incredible machine and what eventually happened to it in the end.    *  *  *  *  * Here's quick reminder to check out our monthly digital magazine. It's filled with everything you want to read on motorcycling, including some things you've probably not seen elsewhere. It's absolutely free and you will find it on the Apple App Store and of course on Google Play as well. Don't forget to leave us your comments on our social media—we're on all the usual platforms at Ultimate Motorcycling. We love hearing your feedback… so good or bad, please let us know what you think. Pedro Acosta's KTM cutting out on the back straight leading to Alex Marquez riding into him at full speed, breaking his collarbone and sending him to hospital. This before a restarted race led to Johann Zarco heading to hospital with torn ligaments in his knee after being hooked on Pecco Bagnaia's Ducati. The race was won by Fabio di Giannantonio at the third time of asking. Many questions are asked, such as whether KTM should have been allowed to continue, must the show always go on for MotoGP?

Yes, I'm talking about Marc Marquez, him having a screw loose leading to a rather painful absence for the man who'd absolutely shattered the lap record at Les Mans on Saturday. And it's bad news for Ducati, too, as Alex took a tumble within the first rounds today and left the door wide open for Aprilia to, once again, establish dominance. It looks like the greatest contest this year will be an in-house affair for the Bezz and his teammate Martin. Yes, it's the Axe Murderer versus the Mad Philosopher.
