She attended undergrad at San Jose State University where she got her degree in advertising and business. She was also a part of the women's soccer team at SJSU. In 2018, she received her MBA and began her journey as a Human Resource Generalist at Adobe. Hi Everyone! Today we are sharing our experiences with being first generation college students. We also have our very first guest on our show, Alex Cruz. Alex Cruz was born in Oaxaca Mexico. Oldest of three children, and resides in East San Jose. He Attended Yerba Buena high and West Valley college. Obtained his AA in liberal arts, and then earned his bachelors in social work and later returned to acquire his masters in social work again with a PPSC (pupil personnel services credential) and certified bilingual by the school. He has have worked as a therapist and supported civil stem and families through trauma resolution and mental health diagnosis which required support, he was a therapist providing services in Spanish and English which broadened his knowledge, and is currently working as a school counselor.
