As a native of Chicago, Sean was fiercely loyal to both the city and the music that shaped him. It is because of Sean that I discovered and fell in love with deep, or as they call it now, soulful House music. I learned how to produce House music because of Sean's influence. We produced records together as the production team Windimoto. Now that Sean has departed this earth for another plane of existence, I continue to produce House music. Sean's power of influence is not only stamped on my soul but most people he came in contact with. I'm certain that our dear friend AllyAl can bear witness to Sean's influence. Back in the late 90’s me and mate Rees used to make each other mixtapes. We’d try and one up each other by finding mint tunes that other the one hadn’t heard. So spent a lot of time buying underground Hip Hop cd’s. We stumbled on an album called Superrappin’, the stand out track being New Years Resolution by Lootpack. Had never heard of them before but was impressed with a producer that would take on a Preemo sample. Their album Soundpieces : Da Antidote followed and the rest is history. How to describe them, labelled as Goths initially, dream pop, shoe gaze, ethereal, none of these fully explain their greatness or sound imo. Too hard to pigeonhole, a truly unique band.
