Good thing Jake and Trisha are here to get to the backwoods bottom of it once and for all. Man, they are such heroes. This week, they are joined by their friend Alexis Quasarano, a writer, (sometimes actor,) and social media producer. Cool teen girls scare her the most, but she hopes to one day gain their approval. Do you hate dolls as much as Jake? Then we have the episode for you. Jake and Trisha are fact-checking the true story claims in the original Annabelle. Get ready to trash all your childhood toys, because this gets a little spooky. Helping them crack the case is their dear friend Allyce, one of the funniest human beings on the planet happens to not be a comedian (or an aspiring comedian). She's just funny. And that's honestly pretty refreshing. Also, one time an airplane ran over her suitcase. Turns out that can happen. Follow her on Instagram: @allycekristen So, seriously though...is there such a thing as a killer doll? You've gotta listen to find out. Music by Chad Fjerstad and Jacob Israel.

WARNING: This one is disturbing. Jake and Trisha watch the far-more-horrifying-than-they-anticipated film The Entity to uncover if this terrifying tale is in fact true. And they really hope it isn't. You will too. This week, they are joined by Brooks Davis, a filmmaker and “Jack of all trades” in the entertainment industry. After working freelance in various on-set positions for over 10 years, Brooks finally landed at Full Moon Features… the 30-year-old horror/cult film company headed by legendary film producer, Charles Band. While at Full Moon, Brooks has worked on 13 of their movies, serving as an Assistant Director, 2nd Unit Director, Cameraman and Editor… along with day to day office business. Brooks still finds time to slip in freelance production work on projects, working with such talents like film director Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen and Man of Steel) and Academy Award-winning cinematographer, Dean Cundey ASC (Halloween, The Thing, and Jurassic Park). When he finds time to breathe, Brooks can usually be found at the movies or developing his own short movie projects… needless to say, this guy is all about film and movies. Follow Brooks on Instagram: @zatoichix1 We repeat. This one is...disturbing. Music by Chad Fjerstad and Jacob Israel.

Jake and Trisha are back. This time, they’re looking into the supposed “based on a true story” film The Exorcism of Emily Rose. But, is it really? Joining them is their friend Jacob Israel, a former (in his words, “recovering”) talent representative, who worked with genre notables Scott Wilson (The Walking Dead), JoBeth Williams (Poltergeist), and Alan Tudyk (Tucker & Dale vs. Evil), among others. He’s an avid horror film fan, with the undead — Zombies & Vampires — generally being his favorites. Jacob is currently an independent business development & strategy consultant living in Los Angeles. Follow him on Instagram: @jaaronisrael. Listener warning: this one gets dark. We apologize to all of our mothers. Music by Chad Fjerstad and Jacob Israel.
