Brain Droppings – Season 1 – Episode – 15 “Back to The Grind” w/Joe C.   Welcome to another episode of The Brain Droppings host. I am your host Joe and in this episode we have a bunch to unpack. This is being recorded on July 7th so the festivities of the 4th are done, and I’d like to talk about how “murica’s independence was properly celebrated, BBQs got a work out, Families gathered and a variety of foods were served….Then because it’s important, we will take a look back in time to when the country actually did declare it’s independence from England and how History books and by in large History teachers have shaped the generations that followed into thinking this all happened in a nice little gathering in Philadelphia on July 4th 1776…Spoiler alert…There’s more to that story than meets the eye. We will also talk a little about my most recent work trips to the great state of Florida, and I know you all know by now that I poke fun at Florida all the time,  I also want to talk about a pretty cool restaurant I found on a trip down recently which has now become an instant Must Go To when I’m in the area…Keeping with the US theme in this episode we will discuss the USWNT journey through the Fifa World Cup in France culminating with the final today, and how this team, and this sport is worth your attention…They are a live wire for sport, politics and social justice…they are strong women with strong opinions and deserve your attention. Lastly I will preview my upcoming trip this week to the Midwest and visit with my Brother….May bring my mic out there too to grab some audi0.  

It's been awhile Baby Birds...I haven't been on vacation, nope...I've been in a state of self loathing and platform hating for the last 3-4 weeks. Tonight I will discuss why I took a bit of a break from the weekly format, bring up some "while I was gone" news from around the globe, Talk a little NBA and NHL Championship series, and finish it off with a little look into what to expect in the upcoming episodes.
