John 10:10 You are being hunted. We can have focus by calling on Jesus Christ, the price is your old life, the rewards are worth it. If you focus on Jesus you will sin less, receive blessings and satisfaction. Where's your focus today?

You are amazing. I Samuel 16:10-12 the lowest of people were shepherd's, yet one was destined to be king. I Corinthians 1: 26 -31 The world might put you down but God thinks you are special. The world says if you want to be happy - be happy! God desires more than happiness, happiness is based on outward circumstances that bring happiness. God provides Joy. 1. We receive true joy because of Christ I Peter 1:8. 2. Happiness can run out - joy stays, Things have to adjust to bring happiness - true joy can be experienced no matter what. Romans 15:13, Happiness has a starting point and ending point. 3. No one can rob you of your joy John 16:22 Happiness can be stolen - the joy of Jesus can't. 4. Christian lifestyle consists of having joy Romans 14:17. 5. Joy in Christ is the complete package John 15:11 you will not lack or miss out, you will have / live a joyful life.
Hebrews 21: 1-3, Why do we neglect God and Who He is? What we have heard - 1. The nature of the Son, who He is, what He did. Hebrews 1:2 Son is radiance of the Father. Peter 1 Christ is God. Peter 2 Christ came to Earth and was crucified for our sins. Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23 How can we escape a great salvation? Ignore the message. Relationship is not a one time conversation or meeting. It is communication over and over - a continuous lifestyle choice I John 1:6.
Matthew 6: 25- 34, Don't Worry. Things change in life. Rely on God. We tend to focus on the trivial instead of the important. This causes us to live in absence of faith. Worry removes our faith from God. We will doubt God can supply our needs. We will doubt God's love, power, and promises. Don't worry, Trust God to take care of you.

Psalms 139:13 God understands me because God created me. Philippians 4:19 God wants to be over you because you are a prize possession of His. Gods supplies our needs physically, spiritually and mentally. Our needs are found in His word 1Corinthians 1:18
They were speaking in tongues to build themselves up and not God. If your in service for God and you don't have God's love, it's for nothing. They were giving out of there abundance for personal recognition. I Corinthians 14: 6-7, James 3:45, John 13: 2-5,14, Luke 21: 1-4, Galatians 5:22.
We must have a passion for others in their walk with Christ. We need to realize we could be in the same boat, drifting away. We must rescue but not condemn don't be saying I told you so. We must go in gentleness and love. We have to be willing to accept rejection.
Keys to a successful prayer life: time in God's word, let God examine you, take time to confess confessions heals you, storms in life shouldn't stop your prayer life, prayer is the most dangerous weapon against satan.

Christians should want to be the best in their field, be the best at what they do, without compromising. Show integrity, money shouldn't control your walk. Dangers: we get influenced by others in our work ethics. We get enticed to take things that don't belong to us. We can get consumed in false worship, the love of money instead of love for the Lord. When we pursue wealth it takes away with our walk with the Lord. We neglect our family, it hurts our health, it hurts our sanity. We boast instead of giving God the glory.
If you want to get your song back realize God has a purpose for your life. Philippians 1:12-13, 2:3-4, 3:13-14, 4:4-7 & 13, 19.
Take some time off to spend with your children to mentor them. Dad's build trust in your children. Children trust your Dad. Train your kids to love Jesus to love the Lord. Dad's worship with your kids.

Christian ethics, issues of a dysfunctional church, fights within the church. They hunger but couldn't be satisfied. dysfunctional people make up the church, they were drifting away from Jesus.
How can we praise God then walk out of service and talk about someone. Proverbs 16:16-18 a lying tongue, John 8:44, Proverbs 20:19, 16:28, 11:13 a gossiping tongue, Proverbs 15:1 a angry tongue, Ephesians 4:29 unwholesome tongue Proverbs 15:2-5. We were made for two things praising God and encouraging others.

Deuteronomy 21:22-23, Mark 15:32, Matthew 27:44, Luke 23:32-39, Luke 23: 40-43. The men hanging there with Jesus, were more than thieves, they were rebels towards the Roman Empire. The thieves were mocking him. The demanding criminal, questioning authority, questioning authority, questioning Jesus' character, questioning His Lordship. One criminal is forgotten, the other was given a name.
Illness, tragedy and death happens, but we can find peace through Jesus. Even when there seems to be a delay in Jesus doing something doesn't mean Jesus isn't working. In Leviticus, by being around a dead body would make you unclean. Jesus saw all the spiritually unclean people around Him. Spiritually dead inside and out and then called by Jesus, your made alive and whole again.
Its all about a relationship with Jesus Christ. You cannot be humble without being obedient. Prayer, its how we talk to God.
A balanced church: It's members must be believers, they must excercise their faith, they should lift up there own request, listen to the Lord's instructions, display the fruit of a changed life, members must be involved in works of ministry.
Matthew 18: 21-35 The parable of the unforgiving slave. Let our words speak of a changed life. Let our actions show a changed life. Our actions should speak louder than our words. Some one is going to keep us accountable. Live your life that honors and gives glory to God.

Trials will move you to God, and temptations lead you away. Trials of life will not weaken our faith but strengthen our faith. The more we stay in God's word the more we are prepared for temptations in life. God does not change and He doesn't hide from you. We are our Fathers prized possessions.
45 to 50 AD James becomes the pasture in Jerusalem, James is the half brother to Jesus. Building by encouraging and having joy. We face trials. Being a Christian is knowing Jesus will be there with us. Endurance being focused on the right thing, be loyal, trials build our faith, trials shape our character. Building to become complete

Matthew 16:13-19 Peter receives amazing insight, great insights are a gift from God, and we should give Him the credit. Our insights will not contradict the word of God. Matthew 26:31 Having a passion for Jesus, doesn't mean will not make mistakes. John 21:15-17 Failure doesn't mean God can't use you.
Joseph and Mary were poor. Simeon a devout servant recognizes Jesus is the Son of God, just as John did in the womb. God allows us to see through His word. God loves His children who are devout followers. God does not put a age limit on people too witness.
Worshipers from afar, they felt led to go investigate because the universe was declaring this big announcement. When they found Him they worshiped Him. The skeptics, none of the holy men of Jerusalem 6 miles away came to investigate what happened in Bethlehem. The priest ignored the signs from the shepherds and the angel and the magi's. Matthew 7: 22-23 I Corinthians 1:8. The Perfect Gift, The custom going to another country was to bring gifts to the royalty, they brought them to Jesus. Our gift to Jesus, is our heart.
Why the shepherds? There were some famous shepherds in the past, Moses, King David. Exodus 3:7 and I Samuel 16. Shepherds were considered ceremonial unclean, they were the outcast of society, some were cheats. God didn't ignore them that night they got to worship with angels they got to go into the presence of the King of kings.
Our purpose: submitting to God's authority. Our purpose: share the good news with people. Our purpose: Have a spirit filled life. Our purpose: Learn how to be a better follower of Jesus. Jesus gives Hope. Luke 1: 39-45, 1:14-15, Mark 1: 1-8
Man's attempt, the day of the fall, Why man's desire of wisdom. Man's ability to be deceived, a quick scam, Adam failed to be a good leader and helpmate. He didn't correct Eve adding to God's word. Man's desire was to be equal with God. Isaiah 14:12, 9:1-7
A thankful heart knows God loves them, A thankful heart knows God is listening, A thankful heart knows how to praise God. Thanksgiving: A grateful act of worship to praise Him. Be thankful in times of sorry for we have Jesus who can calm the storm. For those that are hurting be thankful for God loves you.
He sees what is lacking, we must be willing to show humility to others, we must do for others, serve others. He shows unconditional love, He knew who would betray Him who would deny Him and who would run away but still loved them. He taught by example, We should be the example of the servant leader.
Camouflage: blend into nature. The church are wanting to blend in. Jesus wants us to stand out instead of blending into the world. James 4:4, Romans 12:1-2. Jesus is always aware of our thoughts and actions Jeremiah 23:23, Proverbs 15:3, Job 34:21. Jesus sets the standards not me Isaiah 55:8-9. Its easier to blend in, than to stand out, Jesus wants us to stand out. Live your life, worshiping and honoring God by being an obedient child. Make your standards, God's standards.
