In episode 4 of Friends Talking Music with Beer (FTMB), Matt and Riley discuss White Reaper's latest album, and all around stellar rock indulgence, The World's Best American Band. This album hearkens back to the anthemic power rock songs of the 70s and 80s with a modern touch. This is the third studio album from the Louisville-based band and marks a noticable shift in musical style from the low-fi, garage rock of their previous albums. It's a fantastic album to blast in your car with the windows thrown down on a sunny day and their live shows are bursting with energy and rock-and-roll goodness. Give the album a listen on their Bandcamp and grab tickets to one of their shows on their website. Beer of the podcast is Seventh Son's Proliferous DIPA. Slightly boozy, but very drinkable, this double IPA is a fantastic beer to enjoy on a warm day while rocking out to White Reaper.
