In this episode Devin and I talk about how to find motivation, inspiration, and how to uplift yourself daily. He brings up an amazing point about how people are mirrors that reflect back to us and remind ourselves of who we are when we feel lost. God brings people into our lives who hold a piece of us that we have forgotten if we take the time to look up and around we will be reminded of ourselves and all the amazing things this life has to offer. We are all human, just being human with unique perspectives and here to help one another on this journey. Making the choice of what you focus on and seeing the beauty in opportunity. We talk about how followers are not just numbers but souls and people who are engaging with your content and how we all should take time to connect. We talk about how social media is not a measurement of your value- it's a tool to connect- not just about numbers but more about human lives/ connection. Devin shares his beautiful background about how being biracial has allowed him to be the middle ground to bring both sides together and how to meet in the middle and have conversations with people with different perspectives. He shares his experience and creates a space to share, educate, and "Be The Bridge".

In this episode Devin and I talk about how he was entered into a model search by his friend's mom (without knowing) and was called to meet with Kim Dawson Agency in LA. After his meeting with them they gave him a huge makeover that changed his whole appearance and caused him to truly see himself for who he was rather than associate who he was by his hair and clothes. After this transformation he was signed and booking jobs immediately. With so much work coming his agency said he needed to relocate from Texas to LA. With everything in him saying no he said- "God, if I'm suppose to pursue this then make it happen." Within weeks he had booked a job allowing him to buy a car in cash, instantly found a place, and after saying no to moving to LA for so long he couldn't help but say yes and was on his way. We talk about his transformation, how he stayed true to himself, and how knowing who he was helped ground him. Devin shares how trusting in himself, God, and the process led to limitless opportunities where anything is possible.
