Abi shares the cases of two girls, one who planned her parents murder after a long life of academic lies, and one who murdered her mother right as her lies were uncovered. Sydney Powell was sentenced to life in prison after fatally stabbing her mother in March of 2020. She had been suspended from her college and when the school called to talk to her mother Brenda, she was hit with a cast iron skillet before being stabbed in the neck by her 19 year old daughter. She may have suffered from a psychotic break according to doctors. Jennifer Pan struggled to keep her grades up, decided to fake her academic success through high school and university, even her internship. When she was found out, she came up with a plan.
