On this episode of “When Football Was Football,” we'll take a look back at the remarkable career of defensive end Ed Sprinkle, a former member of the Chicago Bears, who is now enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. When we think of overpowering pass rushers, highly regarded names like Reggie White, Aaron Donald, Bruce Smith, and J.J. It is part 2 of a 2 part feature with Max Lane, a New England Patriots Alumni from the early 90s squad. BosBabes host Brittany Baldi chats with Max and gets all of the details from his early years (in part 1 of the podcast) and in this episode its all about ‘Becoming a New England Patriot’.   Who is Bill Parcells? He coached the New England Patriots during the 90s. Max describes Coach Parcells as a “disciplinarian”, and although he was “scared” coming in as a rookie to the Patriots….he knew his training would not be much different than his time spent at the Naval Academy. Hear Max chat about coach Parcells and owner Bob Kraft.   Max enjoyed his years playing for the Patriots. In this episode he details his great friendships with fellow former teammates like Scott Zolak…apparently Zolak enjoyed making funny caricatures of teammates in the locker room!   Max also describes what it was like playing alongside the talented former star Patriots QB, Drew Bledsoe. According to Lane, Bledsoe was less concerned with getting “hit” or hurt and always more concerned with the outcome of the final play.     Did you know Max went to a Superbowl in 1996?- That game was played in New Orleans. They lost to the Green Bay Packers and Max details how tough it was covering Reggie White.    If you are a New England Patriots fan you will highly enjoy this episode. Max Lane takes you behind the scenes to the start of the Patriots dynasty in the 90s.    Please subscribe to The BosBabes on Youtube xo -Brittany Visit www.primaryjane.com and use promo code BOSBABES15 at checkout for 15% off all of their premium CBD hemp products!

On the seventh episode of “Great Dane Nation,” Morten is joined by his Pro Football Hall of Fame brother and Minnesota Vikings legend Cris Carter (08:55 – 43:18). But first, he checks in with TommyFreezePops (Tom Carroll) to talk about the weekend that was in the football world (00:51). Brandon McManus accounted for all of the Denver Broncos’ scoring in their 18-12 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday. Morten says this is a perfect example of why the kicker position is wholly underrated across the sport (01:34). We then talk about a fight between a kicker and his teammate from the UCF-Memphis game over the weekend, and Morten tells a story about the one time he was almost beat up for missing a field goal (04:30). Finally, Morten tells us how he’s feeling ahead of Michigan State’s 2020 home opener against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (07:21).We then move to our interview with Cris, where he discusses a wide array of topics: a few of the major changes in his life since the beginning of quarantine (09:52); why Cris spent quality time with Morten’s son on Hall of Fame weekend when Morten was inducted (10:59); why being a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame has been the greatest experience of his life (13:22); why sports was a safe haven for him as he grew up in a single-parent home (15:08); why he decided to name himself after Cris Collinsworth (16:25); battling drug and alcohol addiction at a young age (18:00); why Buddy Ryan losing trust in Cris may have saved his life (19:06); the impact that the great Reggie White had on his life (22:25); his fond memories of the 1998 Vikings, and his loss to Morten’s Atlanta Falcons in the 1998 NFC Championship Game (27:56); Morten gives his point of view of the 1998 NFC Championship Game (31:59); his opinion of why the Eagles and Vikings are both struggling in the 2020 NFL season (36:49); his relationship with Dalvin Cook, and why the Vikings running back is a special player both on and off the field (40:05); and his secret to happiness (41:25).Then, TommyFreezePops is joined by Kevin Rogers for his weekly check-in with the experts from VegasInsider.com (46:02 – 55:46). With the Philadelphia Eagles sitting at 1-4-1, is it time for the 2017 Super Bowl Champions to move on from Carson Wentz? Kevin shares his thoughts on the Eagles and the abysmal NFC East (47:13). Plus, the guys take a look at the battle of the “undefeateds” between the Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers (49:09), an NFC West showdown between the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals (51:00), and Tom Brady’s name on the marquee for the first time in Las Vegas as the Raiders host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (53:08).Finally, we close things out with Morten’s “Game Winner” – a weekly segment where Morten monologues his biggest takeaway of the week. This week, he talks about his friend Cris Carter, and how the traits that made him an elite wide receiver have shaped him into an elite human being (55:46).
