A recent experience with smoke reminded me of how our perspectives in life can get cloudy, murky, muddled, smokey. Finding clarity and perspective is essential to be better prepared for the what life will throw in your journey. Don't ignore the smoke signals. Where there's smoke, there's always a fire.

One of the biggest "Killers" of personal success and personal peace of mind is "Doubt". Life is a chaos of events that can distract us and even get headed off on the wrong path. How can we better focus on making sure we see as much of each moment as possible. Let's talk about "Distractions" and begin to draw a line and say, "Enough Already".
I've spoken in the past about F.O.C.U.S. which was 1) Faith is the beginning of everything, 2) Opportunities are guaranteed everyday, 3)Communicate with Courage, 4) Update your progress daily and 5) Stay on the course of success. Now I have, at the encouragement of my friends like you, added the acronym L.A.S.E.R. to the word combination. Life is full of resistance, push back and distractions. People with a LASER FOCUS keep moving forward.
I don't make New Years Resolution any more. Several years ago I came to the reality that most of us don't keep them. That being said, I did make a deliberate change in my direction. I set for myself a small number of intentional goals that were realistic, achievable, life changing and rewarding. Recently a dear friend challenged me to find a single word that embodied my 2017 objective. The word that I landed on was revealed to me and my wife Donna as we reviewed 2016 and confronted the challenges of 2017. I invite you to listen as I share my 2017 PowerWord and the power of a single word to change your life's focus and direction, for the better. Happy New Year.
