Just a guy looking at the world from a sports fanatic's view. Die-Hard Philadelphia sports fan (especially the Eagles) but I will talk about all of the big stories and offer my insight and opinions on my sports interests. If you want to listen to a passionate sports fan then this is definitely the p…
Coming off of a frustrating Super Bowl loss, two Eagles fans get together and talk about where the game went wrong, what the most disappointing thing about the game was and they also look ahead to next season and discuss how good they can actually be. From having the #10 pick in the draft as the loser of the Super Bowl to some HUGE free agents coming up, Khris & Thair discuss what this off-season will/could look like. Also, Jalen Hurts gets a MUCH needed shoutout from the guys.
Eagles are in the Super Bowl. Enough said. After a long year-and-a-half hiatus Khris Peel is back with his thoughts about rigged games, his predictions for the Eagles/Chiefs game coming up after looking back at the last time they played each other and also shares why he's not mad at Brandon Aiyuk's comments.
Episode 100 is finally here and I wanted to bring on a special guest, my brother from the same Mother, Kevon to talk about this Ben Simmons situation. What was the final straw for him when it came to dealing with the disgruntled point guard? How good could the Sixers be in reality without him? Who should have made the 75th anniversary team? Also, who, in his opinion will have the better career between Ja Morant and Lamelo Ball? All that and more NBA talk (including some vaccine discussion) in this very special 100th episode where we keep it ALL the way
Eagles/Cowboys disappointments, and why Ben Simmons thinks he has some kind of pull is absolutely mind boggling. I'm also very stressed out about Allen Iverson for reasons that have NOTHING to do with his on-court abilities or performance.
I have a VERY unpopular opinion about this Simone Biles situation, and speaking of the Olympics, let's talk USA men's basketball and why it's not good to have those hypothetical basketball discussions. Also, why Giannis deserves the Finals win more than anyone else.
I've defended Ben Simmons for years now. But this disappointing ending against the Hawks has me thinking different. Let's talk about it.
Today me and my real life brother talk about our confidence in the Sixers going into the playoffs, how he became a sports fan in the first place and if he prefers playing basketball or baseball more. We also discuss our favorite AND least favorite things about the NBA today. Check in to hear two real life sports fanatics who happen to be brothers.
It’s only right that episode #95 is with someone who’s only a ride on I-95 away from me. Steve, from the Bleed Blue Show joins me once again but this time we’re talking NBA. We’re discussing how the Knicks have been able to be as good as they are so far, who the biggest threat to the Sixers is in the East and who the biggest threat to the Lakers in the West is. Do we make too big of a deal out of All-Star “snubs” and what’s the worst thing about the game today? Let’s talk about it.
It seemed like just yesterday that Carson Wentz was being drafted and heralded as the savior for the Philadelphia Eagles. Well that’s over. Thair (his fourth time on my show) joins me to discuss where the Birds go from here, why we still do not trust Howie Roseman with the #6 pick and what went wrong in the Wentz era. We also talk NBA starting at the 38:29 mark, as we discuss if fans have under appreciated LeBron James’ greatness, why people need to get over Kevin Durant’s decision to join Golden State back in 2016 and why I think Ben Simmons can become not a good player, but a GREAT player even without a jump shot. That and much more sports talk by two Philly sports fanatics.
An old guest, Tramell joins me today to talk NBA. We talk about Draymond Green’s comments about double standards in the league that are currently going on, double standards with different levels of superstars, who Tramell’s favorite Detroit Pistons player is of all-time, who the “championship or bust” teams are in the league and which team (if any) could potentially shock the world in the playoffs. We also discuss Jamal Murray’s performance in the bubble last season, if we can trust the Clippers this time around and what the ceilings are for both Zion Williamson & Ja Morant.
Is Tom Brady the Greatest of all-time? No question! Is Patrick Mahomes still the best QB in the league? No question! Let's talk about how Andy Reid went from the NFC to the AFC just to lose to Tom Brady in the Super Bowl yet again and how LeSean McCoy did his best John Elway impression. I also talk about how the Bucs built on their momentum from their regular season meeting with the Chiefs to win this game.
Me and Stewart talk a little bit about his 2021 NFL Mock Draft, Aaron Rodger’s legacy, why people need to take it easy on Baker Mayfield and how good Patrick Mahomes is at football. Check out Stewart’s podcast wherever podcasts are available!
Quinn joins me to talk NFL playoffs. As a Saints fan, it’s a stressful time for him but he was gracious enough to talk to me about some of the moments from last week’s games and also looking ahead to the “elite 8” of football
Doug Pederson is gone, McNabb & T.O. are STILL beefing, stop feeling sorry for Deshaun Watson & Juju Smith-Schuster should NOT apologize.
Fellow Eagles fan Thair joins me for my first episode of 2021 as we discuss Jim Schwartz no longer being apart of the organization, if Doug Pederson ACTUALLY tried to lose to the Washington Football Team, how the Offensive Line could look next year and if we trust Howie Roseman to make the right draft pick this Spring. No way Roseman can mess this up, right??
My guy LeftHandid hops on with me to talk about a couple of issues that I have with NFL fans, like how we put too much pressure on Cornerbacks, how we overrate running backs so much and how fans think everything is bad play calling if a play doesn’t work.
Yes, you read that right. Chris believes that Steph Curry isn’t a superstar so we discuss that, we discuss how much pressure Giannis is really under, I ask him if the bubble last season should lessen the validity of last year’s postseasons successes and we discuss his Charlotte Hornets and what his outlook is for the team.
Jalen Hurts is another Eagles QB in a long carousel of Eagles QBs since 2009 and hopefully he’s the answer. I tell you why I was not as upset as I usually am after a Birds loss and also talk about my issues with Eagles fans. Yes, I have more.
This Eagles victory was so sweet that I had to talk to not one, but TWO Saints fan to rub it in! Okay, not really but two football fans are better than one and three is better than two. This edition of this NFL recap has me talking to Quinn about his Saints, why they played so poorly yesterday, but also how their defense has been so great lately. I also ask him how he sees the MVP race playing out and also what it ACTUALLY means to be the MVP in the National Football League.
Darrion, who covers the NFC South in his podcast and is a die-hard Saints fan joins me today to discuss the recent Saints loss to my Philadelphia Eagles. Wait, the Eagles ACTUALLY won a game? Against one of the most complete teams in the league? With a Rookie QB making his first career start? That cannot be right. *checks notes* Okay, yep that happened. Well, Darrion joins me to talk about which playoff loss hurt the most between 2017, 2018 & 2019. He also tells me that Drew Brees never winning an MVP award may be even more disappointing than the New Orleans Saints only having one Super Bowl by their name and he tells me which team in the NFC South has been the biggest disappointment this season.
Dallas native (thank God he isn't a Cowboys fan) and Green Bay Packers fan from the Cheese Head Talk podcast join me today to discuss his favorite player of all-time, if A-Rod is the greatest QB of all-time, and his expectations for the rest of the season. I also ask him if DaVante Adams is the best WR that he has witnessed during his 13-year Packers fandom. We also discuss who some of the contenders are in the league and who are pretenders and if Aaron Rodgers' career has been a disappointment as far as Super Bowls. I also ask him which Conference Championship loss hurt the most.
Me and Jimmy talk about our outlook on this Eagles season, whether it would be better to make the playoffs this year or just get a higher draft pick. We also discuss Jason Peters’ legacy and his favorite Eagles memory (besides the Super Bowl win, obviously), and if it’s time for Jalen Hurts’ to start.
Today, my guy Ray hops on the show to give me his perspective as a Browns fan and I have always wanted to get inside the mind of a Cleveland so what better time than when they are coming off of a win to move to 7-3 for the first time since George Washington was President. We y’all about his expectations for the rest of the season, which NFC North team he hates the most and what rules he would change about the current NFL.
Me and Steve from the Bleed Blue Show discuss his love for all of his beloved New York teams and we talk about yesterday’s Eagles/Giants game and also his expectations for the rest of the season for the G-Men. The rivalry between our teams has been back and forth for years so we talk about our favorite memories. That and a LOT more talk between two guys that share a common love of their football teams that jut happen to share a division.
The Eagles pulled off a less than impressive win against Dallas, which is still a Dallas win. I tell you why I absolutely despise Eagles fans with a passion and I discuss if Wentz should finally get benched for Hurts permanently.
It's exactly what the title says. Me and my guy Thair discuss how much we absolutely despise the Dallas Cowboys as a staff, record label and a motherf****ng crew! (2Pac voice). We discuss how much we hate their fans, which players he hates the most and go down memory lane with our favorite AND least favorite memories from this rivalry. Enjoy and please subscribe!
For the very first time I invite a fellow Philadelphia Eagles fan on the show to talk...well, Eagles. We discuss our common hatred for a certain team that plays in Arlington, Texas and we also discuss the disappointments that we share in both Carson Wentz and Doug Pederson. Is Travis Fulgham the best Eagles wide receiver since Jeremy Maclin? We talk about that and we talk about Howie Roseman's shortcomings as a GM.
Me and Tom discuss the Eagles/Giants game from last night and we also talk about the LONG storied history between our two franchises. We go through our favorite and least favorite moments from this rivalry and we also discuss if Eli Manning and Donovan McNabb are "elite" or even Hall of Famers.
Me and my very first repeat guest Mike Harris continue our football talk as we discuss everything from the top defenses in the league to Le’Veon Bell signing with the Chiefs to the Tua Tagovaiola situation. Listen to us talk all things NFL and even some MMA talk as that’s Mike’s first love.
Keeping up with the "fans of the Eagles opponents" tour, today I invite Chris from the Lounge 167 podcast on to discuss his Baltimore Ravens fandom and we discuss the events from Sunday's Eagles-Ravens game. There isn't much history to talk about between our two teams but we still have a great discussion as we look at each other's teams from a different perspective.
Today I discuss the Eagles fan that annoy me by thinking that we should sign any and every single player that becomes available. Today, the topic is Le'Veon Bell. I also talk about the teams around the NFL, including the Cleveland Browns who I still say is a top contender.
I bring on another guest this week to recap the Eagles game, this time a Steelers fan, and we talk about all things NFL. This is not one of those episodes where we talk about different sports or leagues. STRICTLY NFL!!!! If you have been paying attention to the NFL season this year, then this is definitely the episode for you.
The Eagles lost to the Steelers for their third loss of the season, and I will tell you why I was content and upset at the same time. Dak Prescott made me actually have a heart for a Dallas Cowboys player, and please give LeBron his flowers now before it's too late.
Kudos to Z'adarius Smith for using his platform for Breonna Taylor (R.I.P.) and I talk two things that piss me off about NFL fand and sports fans in general. I also discuss if I think the Cleveland Browns are finally for real this year, as well as the Buffalo Bills. Dak Prescott has been racking up a TON of passing yards and I am not impressed at all. No, they're not "garbage time" stats but they still mean nothing to me. The Lakers/Heat Finals series is pretty much over, and now it's on to who's going to win MVP.
Gabe, who is a lifelong San Francisco 49ers fan and I get together to discuss last night's surprising Eagles win over his team. We also talk about the history between the Eagles and Niners and I get into his mind a little bit about his fandom, including what made him become a fan of the team in the first place. He's a Lakers fan as well, so I ask him a question about LeBron James' legacy as it pertains to this year's Finals appearance. Follow his podcast SportsTakes Galore w/ Gabe Gadsden everywhere you get podcasts.
Today I discuss the old saying of "when people tell you who they are, believe them". As it pertains to Nick Foles, that is why people should not get their hopes too high. I discuss the upcoming Eagles game against the San Francisco 49ers and wonder if they even have a chance. Covid-19 strikes again against the NFL as the Titans and Steelers have their game postponed, which sucks because that game had the potential to be the best from Week 3. The NBA Finals also started last night and talk about why I would never use the phrase "no chance" when discussing the NBA and why Scottie Pippen's comments rubbed me the wrong way.
Howie from the Dirty Mouth Podcast joins me for this episode, as we talk about if the much anticipated Ravens/Chiefs matchup lived up to the hype. We discuss the best players at all of the skill positions in the NFL, if Anthony Davis is LeBron's best teammate ever (think about it), if Tom Brady is the greatest QB to ever do it, and if he is, has he EVER been the best QB in the league at any particular time (again, think about it)? That and a LOT more from this nice and long convo between two sports fanatics.
It's overreaction Monday in the NFL once again and this week was no different. There are a few things that I saw during the Chiefs/Ravens game that pissed me off, but it wasn't on the field. I'll discuss that and some Paul Pierce comments.
I really don't have the words to explain the disappointment I am feeling towards the Eagles after today's loss...eh I mean tie. I discuss why I am losing faith in Carson Wentz little-by-little every single week and discuss a heavily scrutinized decision made by Doug Pederson that was actually the RIGHT decision. I always talk about the upcoming NBA Finals series and discuss what the Heat and the Nuggets have in common.
Jimmy Butler made a lot of Sixers fans unhappy when he decided to join the Miami Heat as opposed to staying with the Philadelphia 76ers, but we obviously are ALL idiots and he knew exactly what he was doing. I also talk about the different levels of the NBA and why the Lakers & Nuggets are playing two different games essentially. My fandom for Jacksonville Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew was put to the test tonight, as he did not have a good game at all against the Miami Dolphins.
Today I tell you why the Lakers blew a HUGE opportunity last night, even though they still technically control the series with a 2-1 lead. I also tell you why I feel bad for Tyrod Taylor because of something similar that happened to him in 2017 while he was with the Buffalo Bills. The word "underrated" needs to stop being used SO MUCH in sports and I will tell you why it bothers me in not only football, but in basketball as well.
The Eagles lose...again. To make matters worse, The Cowboys won a game that they had NO business winning and it was like Final Destination around the NFL. After years of defending Carson Wentz, I finally give in just a little bit on what type of quarterback he really may be. The defense has no playmakers and it may get worse before it gets any better. I tell you why. I also talk a little NBA, including why LeBron James should not be worried about any MVP awards right now. Just ask Kobe Bryant.
I talk about the Clippers' disappointing loss against the Nuggets, which robbed me of the Western Conference Finals series that I really wanted to see, and I talk about who I am rooting for in the Eastern Conference Finals series. I discuss the Eagles NUMEROUS injuries and in the wake of Alvin Kamara & Dalvin Cook getting their big paydays, why I would be wary of paying an NFL Running Back big money.
The Eagles lost their opening week game, which was Doug Pederson's first ever Week 1 loss, but it's not time to panic just yet. I also talk a little Lakers/Clippers at the end and explain why The Clippers need to take care of business this Tuesday against the Nuggets.
Today I talk about why I'm not at all upset about the Sixers getting bounced out in the First Round in the playoffs (although the team that it happened against was not my favorite part about it). Was the "Process" a success or a failure? I talk about that a little bit and also why Brett Brown had to go even though he's a good coach. When does trash talk go too far? Did Montrezl Harrell take it too far with his trash-talk against Luka Doncic?? I also talk about how I am not ready AT ALL for the upcoming NFL season.
Today I talk about why the Sixers made me regret Sports coming back at all, why the Lakers & Bucks should not panic even though they both lost their respective Game 1's and why the Damian Lillard LONG 3-pt shot is pretty pointless to me. I also talk a little Bryce Harper (ok, a LOT of Bryce Harper) and the Phillies getting back to .500.
Welcome back!! Today I talk about how I have been occupying my time in a Sports-less world (it has been difficult), what I am looking forward to and what I am fearing about the MLB & NBA seasons resuming at the end of the month, why Patrick Mahomes deserves EVERY SINGLE penny of his new contract, and I think back to a random Eagles game from my teenage years that I came across.
Finally! Some sports to talk again! Today I talk about how the Astros are the biggest benefactors from this Coronavirus pandemic that is currently going on in the world, what I need to find out from Tom Brady when he suits up for the Tampa Bay Buccanneers, and why the new NFL CBA is a good thing for the league and its players...unless I am completely missing something here. I also discuss Jalen Mills (my favorite Eagles player) re-signing with the Birds at a new position and also thanking Malcolm Jenkins for a solid six seasons of service.
Rudy Gobert tested positive for the Coronavirus, which resulted in the Jazz-Thunder game being cancelled, which ultimately led to the NBA suspending the season indefinitely. I talk about what that means as a sports fan, and why the NHL should follow suit very shortly.
Episode #53!!! Today I start off with a story of how I lost $50 to a friend by betting on the Sixers/Lakers game, which was silly in hindsight but at the time of the bet Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid were expected to be in the lineup. I also delve a little into the Sixers season the rest of the way, including how I honestly cannot remember the last time they won on the road off the top of my head. Zion Williamson is the Rookie of the Year and Giannis is the MVP in my eyes, and I will explain why. I also explain why I'm #TeamGiannis in the war of words between him and James Harden. I have thoughts on this Spike Lee-Knicks situation as well, and I can understand both perspectives. Steph Curry should be returning to the court soon and I really just do not see the point, and Nick Foles could be traded soon. I also am tired of this Tom Brady story being shoved down my throat.
I had an idea recently about some of the biggest moments in sports history and it made me think about what if one unfortunate event was changed. Questions like what if Michael Jordan hadn't hit the game winning shot in Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals? What if Kevin Dyson didn't get tackled one yard short as time expired in Super Bowl XXXIV? What if Ray Allen hadn't hit the game tying three pointer in Game 6 in the 2013 NBA Finals? Those and more questions are asked and discussed in this episode. I'm not a huge boxing fan but Deontay Wilder suffered his first loss against Tyson Fury this past weekend so I discuss the disappointing outcome. I also discuss Zion Williamson's chances at winning Rookie of the Year this season.
