So much has taken place in the past week...   One of the biggest was Roger Goodell apologizing (as you heat at the start of the podcast.  What does this mean for the NFL and silent protesting?  Saints QB Drew Breeze made a statement and quickly apologizes....   What happened to change his mind.   The Jaguars organized a Black Lives Matter walk this week but was it real or just "window dressing"?     Also Leonard Fournette orginized his own protest walk with the mayor on yesterday.    Plus it looks like the NBA is back with a set start day of next month. 

It's been a trying week due to the death of George Floyd.  Another unarmed black man at the hands of the police.    Chill and Big Sofa discuss the situation and other factors surrounding the protest around the world.  Will the NBA season finally happen, what about the MLB season?  Also Sofa has found TikTok and wants to be TikTok famous.

All 10 episodes of "The Last Dance" have aired and Sofa & Chill discuss.   Former Jacksonville Jaguars DB Aaron 'Killa Beas" Beasley joins the podcast and discuss the Covid-19 restrictions for teams plus the new additions to the Rooney Rule.  Is it true that 2 current NFL players robbed a group of people at a party?  

This years NFL schedule is out so Big Sofa and Chill have to discuss whats on deck for the Jaguars.  Also the NFL Players coalition wrote a letter to the DOJ in reference to the young man wo was brutally shot in Ga.  Mike Tyson is in his 50's but this week he released a video on instagram looking like Tyson in the 80s...  and he said "I'm Back"...    What does that mean??

Big Week in the NFL with the release of the schedule on Thursday, but will there even be a season?    All the international games have been cancelled so no London games. Leonard Fournette's 5th year option was not picked up by the Jaguars...   so now what???   ESPN's Last Dance episode 5 & 6 have been aired and we talk about it. 

Social Distancing is still in effect....  But right before we were set to record there was breaking news that former Jaguar LB Telvin Smith was arrested.  We tell you what we know/heard.  Also the 2020 NFL Draft is complete how did your team make out?  Will players get to have mini-camps with the virius still making people sick all over the country.  Episode 3 & 4 of the ESPN documentary on the Chicago Bulls has aired.  Big Sofa was raised in Chicago and gives his take on cheering on the Bulls.

Social Distancing is the new normal.  Chill is on the phone and Big Sofa is on the Beach walking.   Yeah....  Really.....  It's NFL Draft week, and this years draft will be virtural.  Also The Jags have 12 picks this year, but will it be enough?   What about High School athletes who won't return to school? 

The Coronavirius has closed down many places and cancelled summer concerts.  Not to mention all the NBA, MLB and other sporting events.  NFL Free agency has begun and big named QB's are flying around here. Plus we have 4 more NBA players who have tested positive.    

It's been a couple of weeks, the guys have been on the road and it seems the world is going to HELL.   Big Sofa is still living his best life visiting the Bahamas AGAIN which make 2 times in 1 month....   Can you say BALLIN' Yannick Ngakoue wants out of Jacksonville and do you blame him? Will the team slap that franchise tag on him?  Also this coronavirus is about to be a PROBLEM!!!!! 

Big Sofa has been in the bahamas living his best life, while the rest of us were watching this year's NBA All Star Weekend.  Chill Will fills him in on the events and should we be mad at Chaka Khan for butchering the National Anthem?  Former Jags interm Head Coach Mel Tucker took another coaching job, but did he do it in the right way?  Also will Jameis Winston keep throwing Int's with his new Lasik eye surgery.

This week the hometown Jaguars announced that the team would be playing 2 back to back games in London next season and the fans arent happy at all.  The owner says its a business decision to help the franchise.....   but is it really? The XFL is off and running to a good start but will it last?  Also an Oscar was won by a former NFL player but Big Sofa says he wasn't really a Jaguars player. 

Super Bowl 54 is in the books and Patrick Mahomes has shown why is is one of the best young QB's in the NFL.   Andy Reid finally has his trophy and Kyle Shanahan has blown another lead in the big game.  How did you like the halftime entertainment, and can the Jaguars release a player who just was named the Walter Payton Man of the Year? Tony Boselli was snubbed for this years HOF, but does Fred Taylor deserve to get in before Tony?

We are trying to keep it together after a losing one of the greatest basketball players to ever play the game....   KOBE.   Kobe, his 13 year-old daughter Gigi and seven others died in a helicopter crash on Sunday.   Also on Sunday former Jaguars safety Donovin Darius was arrested for DUI then informed Police that he had takenabout 20 pills and was thinking about self harm. Jags players made their presence known at the ProBowl and Miami is locked and loaded to host the Big Game....   but is it the best place to be if you are an Africian American football player?

The Super Bowl is set.  The Chiefs vs The 49ers in Miami. it wasn't the year for the Titans or the Packers.   Darelle Revis calls out Richard Sherman but Richard wasn't having it.  Both Big Sofa and Chill Will finished watching the new Netflix movie about Aaron Hernandez and they have some interesting points.    This week top NBA pick Zion Williamson is set to retun to action after a knee surgery.   Is he ready?  Is the league ready?

It's NFL Divisional Playoff weekend and we are now down to 4 teams trying to get to the Big Game.   Chill Will is mad because the Ravens are out along with The Seahawks, Texans and Vikings.  Speaking of Big Games...  LSU and Clemson are set to battle it out for the top college team and both guys pick LSU...  Who will it be???

Back from the holidays, Big Sofa & Chill Will return and jump rignt in with NFL Wildcard Weekend.  Tom Brady is home watching just like us.  The Dallas Cowboys has named their new head coach but why did Jerry Jones take so long? Speaking of coaches, the hometown Jaguars will keep theirs and Big Sofa is looking at them with a side eye.  LSU vs Clemson, Bama's QB is heading or the draft and were you a Michael Jordan  - Chicago Bulls Fan??? 

We're in the Christmas sprit and Jags fans are enjoying their first gift from owner Shad Khan.   Khan fired Tom Coughlin this week but will he be the only one? Week 16 picks, Colin Kapernick and Nike release limited edition AF1's, and Eddie Murphy on SNL.  Also will Seattle bring Beast Mode Marshawn Lynch back?  Washington Wizard Isaiah Thomas went into the stands to confront a unruley fan.....  should he be punished?

Big Sofa went to see Lebron and the Lakers on their East Coast swing this week, also Chill met up with NFL Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk while in Jacksonville.  Week 15 in the NFL and Sofa was almost perfect plus the Jaguars pull off a damn near impossible win out in Oakland.  The NFLPA dropped the hammer and told present members to think about not coming to a certain team because of management and excessive fines.  A few former players are accused of defrauding the NFL's health program and Week 16 picks. 

NFL week 14 starts off with a Dallas Cowboys vs. Chicago Bears Thursday night football game.  The cowboys continue their losing streak and Jerry Jones is mad as hell.  The next morning he goes on the radio and curses causing to radio station to hang up on him.  Big Sofa picks were damn near perfect this week but the hometown Jags drop another game against the Chargers.   People are still mad at Michael Vick and don't want him anywhere near the Pro Bowl this year, plus FSU, Ole Miss and a few other schools have brand new football coaches. 

In our DJ Khaled voice....   "Another One".  The Jags lose another game against Tampa Bay, and we couldn't even get an INT against Jameis Winston.  Foles has officially been sent back to the bench but will that help.  Week 13 picks weren't the best for Big Sofa, and Dwayne Wade had to check the Thankgiving haters about a family photo.  Lastly, whats going on with Telvin Smith and the police activity at his house?

The hometown Jags drop another L to the Titans. This is the 3rd straight loss and something has to change.  Big Sofa is 8-13 with week 12 picks and is doinf pretty good at picking winners.  Updating on the Myles Garret situation and whats up with the Dallas Cowboys?  Praying for Eagles right guard Brandon Brooks who just couldn't "Get Right" to finish sundays game.  Week 13 picks and Chill Will gives credit where credit is due (Famu vs BCU)

Week 11 starts out with the Steelers taking on the Browns on Thursday night football and it  turned ito a dog fight between Myles Garrett and Mason Rudolph.   Damon redeemed himself with his week 11 picks but the hometown Jaguars just couldn't bring home a win.   This past weekend Colin Kapernick was supposed to work out for all 32 NFL teams in a NFL sponsored try out......   but Colin decided to control his own narrative.  

NFL week 10 and hours after we recorded last week Jacksonville Jaguars Head Coach Doug Marrone named Nick Foles the starting Jags QB instead of waiting until the team returned from the bye week......   What's Up With That???  Big Sofa's picks this week weren't too good because this was the week of upsets.  LSU won the matchup with Alabama and is this the beginning of the end for the TIDE domination?  Also will Deion Sanders be the new FSU football coach?  Lastly, we discuss why Chris Carter is no longer with Fox Sports plus Week 11 Picks

Week 9 in the NFL brings our hometown Jaguars across the pond to London.  Minshew Mania didn't quite travel well to the UK.   The week 9 recap has Big Sofa with about half of his picks right this week. Plus the Cowboys and the Giants meet in a MNF showdown.  FL vs Ga talk and of course FSU vs Miami where the seminoles nt only lost the game but their football coach as well.  Willie Taggert is gone. 

NFL week 8 and the hometeam gets a decisive win over the NY Jets.  Big Sofa only missed one game during his picks this week.   Who's getting traded as the end of the NFL trade nears.  The Astros may just win the world series and why can't women show a little skin at the game?  Tiger Woods has officially tied sam snead winning his 82nd PGA title.   FL/GA week is here, and the who do you think will win?

The 50th Northwest Classic is over and the William M. Raines students/alumni are celebrating. Chill is just finding out that Big Sofa is the offensive cooridinator for the Ribault football team.  Sofa's picks weren't too good this week and the Jags weren't able to seal the deal against New Orleans.   This year represents the 25th anniversary of the Jags in Jacksonville and they threw a party to celebrate, but everyone wasn't there.  We celebrate a big milestone next week (Episode 100) Follow us on our socials Facebook   Instagram Twitter

Back at Aromas Cigar Bar and it's week 4 in the NFL.  So just how well did Big Sofa do on calling games during week 3?  Our hometown Jaguars pulled off a win in Denver with outstanding play by a rookie QB, solid running game by Leonard Fournette and no Jalen Ramsey.  Oakland Raider Vontez Burfict has been suspended for the rest of the year after a hit on another player.
