BT & Sal aggressively argue that being a College Football Head Coach is the absolute best job in sports, not because of the coaching, but because of the contracts. They highlight Brian Kelly's $50+ million buyout from LSU after a failure, calling the position the "Golden Ticket" and the "ultimate parachute." The hosts contrast the low-pressure, high-reward CFB job with the rigorous, results-based NFL (asking if you'd rather be Daboll or Kelly), concluding that college coaches are financially set even if they fail spectacularly. The discussion then pivots to the NFL, where they debate whether the struggling Giants should call Bill Belichick, who they believe is "ruining his legacy" at UNC.
