Listeners of On The Rocks that love the show mention:I have recently discovered The On The Rocks podcast and I must say, it has quickly become one of my favorites. This podcast is a fantastic blend of mainstream and indie game reviews, gamer discussions, and video game tropes, all infused with a little bit of liquor. It is evident that the hosts have a genuine love for video games, which really comes across in their passionate discussions. One aspect that sets this podcast apart is their unique format where they create cocktails that go along with the games they are discussing. It adds an extra layer of fun and creativity to the show.
The best aspect of The On The Rocks podcast is definitely the hosts' love for video games and their ability to hold up the medium as an art form. Their honest opinions paired with their knowledge and enthusiasm make for engaging and entertaining conversations. The back and forth rapport among the hosts and guests is enjoyable to listen to, as they effortlessly mix humor with thought-provoking discussions about the games they are reviewing. Additionally, I appreciate that they not only cover mainstream games but also make an effort to highlight indie titles.
As much as I enjoy listening to The On The Rocks podcast, there are a few aspects that could be improved upon. While the casual nature of the show can be refreshing, there were moments where it felt a bit too informal. At times, it seemed like the hosts would get sidetracked or lose focus on the main topic at hand. Adding some structure to ensure smoother transitions between topics could enhance the overall listening experience.
In conclusion, The On The Rocks podcast is a great show for any gaming enthusiast out there. With its blend of mainstream and indie game reviews, insightful discussions, and fun cocktail creations, it offers a unique perspective on gaming as an art form. While there may be some room for improvement in terms of structure and focus, overall it remains an enjoyable listen due to the hosts' passion for video games and their entertaining banter. I highly recommend giving this podcast a try, especially if you're a fan of both gaming and mixology.
