As this episode kicks off, Kevin Godley and his longtime songwriting and creative partner, Lol Creme, have just left 10cc, so instead of being part of hits such as “The Things We Do for Love,” the duo continues pushing their artistic boundaries as Godley & Creme. Godley describes how he and Creme collaborated on music and, eventually, videos—for themselves and, among others, Herbie Hancock (“Rockit”), the Police (“Every Breath You Take”) and George Harrison (“When We Was Fab”). He recounts work on the groundbreaking video for Godley & Creme's biggest hit, 1985's “Cry,” which uses a pre-CGI version of morphing to merge one face into another, as Michael Jackson would do with more technology years later. Godley also tells of the end of his partnership with Creme, the current state of relationships among the four original 10cc members and where his creative drive is taking him next.

Steve starts the show out with a little honorarium on the career of Val Kilmer, then we get on to the movie. Nazis at the Center of the Earth: Scientists, doing science stuff, and throwing around many, many science words are caught up in the rise of the Fourth Reich when two of their group are abducted. While searching for their lost colleagues, they all end up finding their way to a beautiful utopia deep under the Earth's crust. There, they encounter a band of zombie Nazis, led by Joseph Mengele, who is keeping the group alive by grafting on recycled body parts. Then we find out that the "chief scientist" is actually on the bad guy's side. The abducted lady scientist also turns to the dark side. But is she just biding her time? Is she a double agent? Or maybe a triple agent? Then a robot Hitler shows up.Nazis at the Center of the Earth final grade: Steve: Not a great movie. Interesting twist on the "where did the fleeing Nazis end up and what are they doing now" genre. Best part was the painted Nerf guns as lasers. 1.8/5.0Brandon: Some of the costume work was pretty good. Have to give the actors a little credit for playing a bad movie without any seriousness. 2.0/5.0Cocktail of the Week:Hitler's Jitters3 oz White Rum1/2 oz Creme de Cacao1 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice1/2 oz Simple SyrupPut all ingredients in a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake to chill and combine. Strain into a couple glass and garnish with a a lime wheel.Cocktail Grade: Not a great drink, but better than the movie. Kinda grew on us as the evening went on. “If we did something that was too drab, too normal, too obvious, we'd say, ‘Nah, let's give it a kick in the ass.'” That's how Kevin Godley describes the approach of his former band, 10cc, and his drive for creativity and art has not abated. Godley was 10cc's angelic-voiced drummer who would go on to make inventive music and groundbreaking videos with Godley & Creme. In Pt. 1 of this illuminating conversation, Godley explains how Lol Creme, Graham Gouldman, Eric Stewart and he—all strong songwriters and singers—formed 10cc near Manchester, England, and figured out who would do what. They stretched out on such Godley-Creme songs as “Somewhere in Hollywood” and "Une Nuit a Paris" (which perhaps inspired Queen's “Bohemian Rhapsody”), but the popularity of “I'm Not in Love” had unintended consequences. What was it about the new song that Stewart and Gouldman played for Godley and Creme that blew apart the songwriting teams for good?

As hard as I try, I still get caught up in "being busy." What does this mean? I'm asking myself the same question! It means I want to achieve and accomplish much each day. However, I often do this at the expense of my personal care. For example, my morning routine is sacred to me. I get up, read my Bible, write in my gratitude journal, get outside, and let's not forget the key component - DRINK MY COFFEE! In January, I committed to lifting more weights to gain more muscle. There's a class that's offered at 7 am. I love the class, but now my morning routine is out of whack, and subsequently, the rest of my day is a bit wonky. I've gone back to prioritizing my morning routine and exercising later in the day (I don't love exercising later, but my morning routine is pivotal for productivity). Here's a link to one of my favorite breathing experts, Dr. James Nestor https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6yAY1oZUOA I have two more surprising takeaways for you. _______ Body Deli Checkout my favorite products from Body Deli that are always in my bathroom. Creme de la Rose moisturizer. Phoenix lift face and neck oil (when I run out of this, my face gets so dry and cranky!) Blueberry Fusion Cleanser. Vitamin C Serum. Use the code 'ENOS15' at checkout for 15% off! _______ Butcher Box I'm picky about fish. For years, I would only eat fish in restaurants because I had no clue how to prepare it. Then I discovered that when I buy fish at the supermarket, it is DOUBLE FROZEN. What?! Could that be why my fish texture would be a little off? Did you know that ButcherBox only freezes their salmon ONCE? I'm a huge fan of their wild Alaskan sockeye salmon. Right now, you can get a year of salmon for FREE. That's a $422 value, and you get $20 off of your first box. Click here to purchase

Hi Bakers, This dessert failed…sort of. Creme brûlée without a torch?…Not so simple! I wanted to try both sugar and toffee as the topping in case people didn't want to make the toffee. Regular sugar didn't caramelize under the broiler and completely heated the custard. Thankfully, the toffee bits melted quickly and were amazing. Espresso Toffee Creme Brûlée is naturally gluten-free and easy to make. The combination of toffee and custard is phenomenal and something you can't get in a restaurant. I used milk and cream for a lighter custard, but if you want something richer, reduce the amount of milk to 1/4 cup and increase the heavy cream amount to 2 3/4 cups. Sorry, this video was a hot mess but it was a good experiment in making something I had never tried before! Enjoy ~Carolyn Note; Ramekin size stated wrong on the video but the correct size is listed in recipe! Espresso Toffee Creme Brulée makes 6 ramekins 3.5” x 1.5” 2 1/2 cups heavy cream 1/2 cup whole milk 1 1/2 tablespoons instant espresso powder 5 large egg yolks 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract pinch of salt Garnish whipped cream toffee bits Preheat oven to 300F and place rack in the middle position. Line a 9” x13” baking pan with a small towel and place greased ramekins on top of it. Set aside. Whisk together egg yolks, sugar and vanilla in a small bowl and set aside. In a heavy saucepan, stir together cream, milk, espresso and salt. Heat and stir milk mixture until bubbling but not boiling. Slowly add a cup of hot milk mixture to the egg yolks while whisking. Pour egg yolk milk mixture through a fine mesh strainer into saucepan with remaining milk. Whisk together well. Ladle into prepared ramekins. Add 1 1/2 inches of warm water to baking pan containing ramekins being careful not to get water into them them. Carefully place pan into the oven and bake for about 40-50 minutes or until just set but still jiggling in the middle. Remove from water containing pan and let cool to room temperature. Cool overnight in the fridge or at least a few hours. Prepare toffee topping with recipe below or buy plan toffee to use as topping. Toffee Topping 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup granulated sugar 2 tablespoons water 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Combine all ingredients except vanilla in a heavy saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat while stirring until mixture reaches 305F or hard crack stage. You can measure with a candy thermometer or other favorite method. I like to drop some into cold water and if it's hard and shatters when you bite it, that's hard crack. Remove from the heat and stir in vanilla extract. Pour onto a silicone mat or marble slab. Cool and break into chunks saving some for garnish. Chop toffee with a large knife into small pieces to cover brûlée and broil as topping. How to broil toffee topping Set the oven to low broil and place rack in the top position. Add chopped toffee to cover about 1 tablespoon per ramekin. Broil for a few minutes or until toffee melts but doesn't brown. Add a sprinkle of large grain salt and serve immediately. If melting takes more than a few minutes in your oven, chill to reset the brûlée and toffee for 10 minutes. Garnish with whipped cream and chopped toffee bits right before serving. Do not broil toffee topping and leave overnight, the toffee top starts to get soft and butter that was melted gets solid and not in a good way.

Loose Ends this week is a masterclass in the many ways human beings find to laugh: the writer and comic Jenny Eclair started her career as a punk performance poet, who created her stage name to chime with the band she joined - Cathy le Creme and the Rumbabas. But as we learn in her new memoir, she knew as a small child called Jenny Hargreaves that she had the "funny bones" required to make her a comedy star. There is little about Ferdia Lennon's debut novel Glorious Exploits that might suggest comedy - its set in 412 BC Sicily, in the years after Athens' failed invasion and tells the story of two locals who get Athenian prisoners of war to stage a production of the play Medea. Yet this book's just won an award for comic writing. Nikki Amuka-Bird is a Bafta-winning actor and her new movie Rumours features a constellation of Hollywood stars. But this comedy-horror-satire features her alongside Cate Blanchett and Charles Dance prat-falling as world leaders at a summit. And stand-up Lou Sanders is about to go on the road with a show called No Kissing In The Bingo Hall, but she's taken diversions via Dancing on Ice and Taskmaster and will be trying not to laugh in series one of Last One Laughing UK next year. With music by Roddy Woomble of Idlewild.Presenter: Clive Anderson Producer: Olive Clancy
