Y antes de Ozark, creó con Randle Chowning el grupo Beyond Reach y también Granny’s Bathwater con Jon Goin.DISCO 1 THE OZARK MOUNTAIN DAREDEVILS Jackie Blue (IT’LL SHINE WHEN IT SHINES - 3)DISCO 2 THE OZARK MOUNTAIN DAREDEVILS Spaceship Orion (THE OZARK… 2)DISCO 3 THE OZARK MOUNTAIN DAREDEVILS What’s Happen Along In. Throwing out the baby with the bathwater wouldn't be a “proverb” if it wasn't such a common practice. This episode focuses on holding onto the painful experiences of others while fighting the circumstances that put them there. Barry begins a series covering some of the great questions he has encountered through many (and I mean many) years of ministry. Today's question has to do with what is essential to believe when coming to Christ. The one thing about Jesus that sets him apart from every other human is the resurrection—it declares Jesus […]

As organizations adjust to changing political landscapes and workforce expectations, many are reconsidering their DEI strategies. While some past initiatives have led to unintended consequences—disengagement, frustration, or even backlash—true inclusion remains essential for building a productive and innovative workplace. In this episode, Sailu Timbo of Creative Planning shares actionable strategies to rethink and refine DEI efforts without throwing out the principles of inclusion. Rather than abandoning DEI altogether, businesses can shift their approach to ensure employees feel valued, engaged, and empowered. Sailu explains how to avoid common pitfalls while maintaining a strong culture that attracts top talent, drives collaboration, and fosters genuine belonging. The Bible describes the church as “the body of Christ.” In other words, the church should look a lot like Jesus. And one of the best things Jesus did for people was encourage them to serve and empower them to lead. Southland will always need an abundance of servant leaders.
In order to have the kind of life we really want; we have to walk away from the current life we have. Jesus specializes in moving people in a new direction towards a stronger life.

Tera, Dr. Glenn and Phyllis dive right into the deep emotional impact of hurt and how it shapes our decisions, often leading us to throw out meaningful connections. They discuss the origins of the phrase “throwing the baby out with the bathwater” and share examples where unresolved pain led to disconnection—from friendships to church experiences and even political divides. The Connection Codes team discusses the importance of staying curious, processing emotions like hurt and fear, and choosing connection over isolation. This is a very powerful conversation about making your way through personal and communal hard situations while holding onto what truly matters.
