Dynamiczne Trio powraca w odcinku 220 podcastu MKwadrat. Video games! There's a bunch of them to talk about this week, including Keeper, Dead Reset, Easy Delivery Co., Ball x Pit, Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, a quick Steam Next Fest co-op roundup... and some Death Stranding 2. In the news, the sudden passing of Team Ninja's Tomonobu Itagaki, The Simpsons (maybe) in Fortnite, and probably more discussion of Street Fighter hamburgers than was really necessary. The three Blizzard Watch Podcast amigos had a ton of Midnight news to discuss this week. They would have had more housing stuff to discuss, but the public PTR that was going to let us finally dig in was unceremoniously yanked off the schedule with no ETA. Surprise, it was released late Thursday, and it's still ending an hour after this podcast gets posted. Welp!Unsurprisingly, Matt says the first thing he's going to do is to create a throne of Ashkandis, but note that there is no actual Ashkandi decor item to enable him to do so. Joe hopes that, if there is a way to put Ashkandi in there, he only has to craft it once, and then can place it multiple times, but it's looking like that isn't the case, either.Plus, Steam Next Fest is this week and we have some recommendations for fun little indie games to check out while they're free to try.If you have a few minutes, please fill out our survey to tell us what you think about the podcast. Welcome back to the club! There are…a lot of reasons to feel overwhelmed right now. Probably least of which is the boatload of demos that were available during this summer's Steam Next Fest. With over 2000 demos, it can be hard to know which games are worth being hype for, but that's why you're here! This week, Jesse Guarascia and Dominic Tarason join the show to discuss the overwhelming nature of Steam Next Fest and point out some of our favorite games from the show. We have musical brawlers, turn-based dice games, and cursed antiques, so listen and fill that wishlist! Also, in the Whatcha Playin? Segment, Dominic talks about his time with Broken Arrow and The Hundred Line, Jessie talks about his time with The Alters, and Emmett talks about his time with Jump the Track and Resistance: Fall of Man.Timestamps:-Start: 00:00-TotS: Steam Next Fest June 2025 00:02:28:00 -Dice Gambit 00:12:10:00 -Strange Antiquities 00:20:29:00 -Dead as Disco 00:28:45:15 -Absolum 00:38:01:00 -Consume Me 00:51:36:15 -Usual June 00:59:26:00 -Jail Dice 01:08:00:15 -Letters to Arralla 01:17:07:15 -Gear Grit 01:21:19:00 -Whatcha Playin? 01:27:58:00 -The Alters 01:28:26:05 -Broken Arrow 01:36:25:00 -The Hundred Line 01:42:59:00 -Jump the Track 01:51:14:15 -Resistance: Fall of Man 01:54:52:00 -Housekeeping 01:59:52:00Housekeeping:-VGU Test Drive -The Allure of the MomoCon Courtyard-Emmett Plays Resistance: Fall of Man Part 1-30 for 30 Platinum Marathon Stream P1: My Name is Mayo 3, Shadow Warrior 3, and more!-how does an indie game get made?-4 Fantastic Steam Games with Fewer than 100 Reviews-[Free games spreadsheet, Dom's]Check out YouTube Channel here!Follow us on Bluesky, @vgu.bsky.social!Like us on Facebook!Follow us on Instagram!
The summer is upon us (at least in the U.S.), and with it comes a bevy of new game announcements from events like Summer Game Fest and the Steam Next Fest. And in the spirit of summer game festivals, we're also looking back at the late, great E3. For this episode, Ky "Captain Dangerous" Parker is sharing more of her favorite memories from E3's she's attended in the past—the exhibits she saw, the people she met, and what it was like to be there for some of Nintendo's biggest reveals of the Switch era. And speaking of summer games, we're also suggesting some upcoming indie titles we think Kirby fans will want to keep an eye on, as well as discussing what we'll be playing this summer.Oh, and Gigi also shares the unique cross-continental way she's getting a Switch 2, which might be one of the best console acquisition stories we've ever heard. What are you playing this summer? Let us know at mail@kirbyconversations.com, and we may read your letter on a future episode of the show.Kirby Conversations is part of the Sound Stone Podcast Network, a collective of independent podcasters covering video game history. Later on, the boys get into the week's headlines, including the Donkey Kong Bananza Direct, Switch 2 sales updates, the top wishlisted games from Steam Next Fest, Bungie's Marathon being delayed indefinitely, new Elden Ring boss remixes and free updates, and next week's Capcom Showcase.Claim your free 2025 AEW ALL IN DIGITAL PROMO CARD SET from UPPER DECK today! Wow a second episode has hit the airwaves this week??? And it's not a Cooldown™???? Man, the Player Player boys must have really been cooking in their absence these past 14 days. Honestly I think all fans of the podcast should get down on their hands and knees and bow down to Player Player. Swear your allegiance and loyalty. It's only right after what they've done for you. Anyways, we got a good episode this week where we discuss all that happened during Summer Games Fest.
